I boarded my dog Koda here over the weekend and she had a blast!!!! She made lots of friends and seeing her so happy in the pictures made me feel loads better knowing she wasn’t sad and alone. They even gave her an exit bath when I picked her up which was such a nice surprise!!! She smelled great and it was nice to not have to do it after a long day of traveling. They are also super fair in pricing and we will 100% be back for any boarding, day care, training or grooming needs!

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have used Ashley and Abbie regularly for walking my dogs as well as check in on my kitties. They are wonderful to work with. Very dependable- they have never missed an appointment. I know they have a busy schedule but will do their best to fit you in for a last minute visit. Recently, I was home recovering from surgery and I got a chance to observe my pets when they Abbie or Ashley arrive to take them for a walk…. My dogs get so excited to see them. You can tell that they genuinely care about animals. Also, they take the best photos of my fur babies!!

The owners of Animal People Dog Boarding & Day Care (Aaron and Ashley Babaa) know what they are doing. Both are epic dog lovers and will care for your dog just as it were their own. This venture is born out of their equal passion to care for and board dogs in a dignified manner. Beautiful clean facility with new state of the art kennels to keep your dogs. This place WAS great and has been fantastic! I was going there for almost two years now. It's 45 min for me and has been well worth it! Both my dogs have come a long way and can't wait to see how much further they progress. 😊 However, the owner has abandoned this to move onto something else and it is under new management that has been a dissapoinment and changed what they have said so I will no longer be back there and will find something else. Therefore, I no longer suggest this facility.

Dog School Charlotte provides excellent training for pup and human! We are very pleased with our progress. We were having significant problems with our rescue. Dog School Charlotte folks are professional, courteous, extremely responsive and always on time! We are looking forward to continuing our advanced obedience & group training with them! Highly recommend!!

We love Animal People! Our pup is always excited to go and tuckered out when she gets home. If anyone is going to take care of our floof, they need to be animal people, just like us! Affordable care by folks that love our pup like just like we do!

Ashley and Aaron offer a warm and welcoming home away from home for your fur babies. The facility is kept clean and well organized and the dogs have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to run and play. I love that they send pupdates to the owners to let them know how their fur baby is doing. I have complete confidence recommending them to anyone!

Simply the best! We can’t recommend Animal People enough. Our pup spent two weeks with their team, and she had the best time. We got regular updates and photos throughout her stay. It’s very evident everyone on the Animal People team truly care for each pet in their care.

My sweet boy, Baire, LOVES coming here! He is so excited that he jumps out the car 😂 I know that he is in great hands because of how he reacts when he gets dropped off. Everyone here is so nice and I can tell that they love what they do and take care of all the fur babies as if they were their own. I appreciate all the care and service given toward me and my dog. The prices are reasonable and includes daycare with boarding- I appreciate this so much because I would have to pay separately for this at other places. Thank you so much Animal People!!

The staff here is so wonderful! My dog had a great day today and I felt at ease leaving her to play! Very clean, no doggy smell in the facility! Definitely will bring my dog back!

I brought Kodak in for boarding while I went out of town for a concert last week and she had an absolute blast! So much so that when I had a sudden out of town trip that weekend I knew she would be in great hands. We just moved to the area so being able to find hounds town takes an incredible amount of stress off me for if I need to find somewhere for Kodak to go. The team is great and we’re always super big on communication. They post pictures on their Facebook everyday so I was always able to keep tabs on her. Since this was the first time Kodak has ever been in any sort of boarding/daycare environment I wasn’t sure how she was going to do but she went in and had an absolute blast. She’s still tired from her time there over this past weekend 😂

Very friendly and nice staff! They answered ALL of my crazy dog mom questions. I loved the report card and the Facebook / text message photos of my pup throughout the day. I’m so happy I found this place. A pic of my happy boy below.

We just picked up our dog after an extended boarding and we feel more at ease leaving him at HT CLT than anywhere else! The staff was prompt with providing pictures and updates when we asked. They even washed his blanket, going above and beyond. He has such a great time at HT and everyone who works there is so helpful and welcoming! ❤️

We love Hounds Town NoDa! This is the BEST place to bring your pup. They care about and get to know each dog, have a beautiful facility, and have the friendliest staff. They go above and beyond for both dogs and their people!

My sweet pup just turned two and HoundsTown Noda is our third daycare that we’ve been part of. I truly think this facility is the absolute best in Charlotte and we absolutely love it here!!!!! After having not so great experiences with two other doggy daycares in Charlotte, we joined HoundsTown right when they opened this location. The staff is phenomenal and my pup and I have built such great relationships with the staff, they are like family to us! They are always so accommodating and I trust them wholeheartedly! This facility is always very clean, organized, and inviting! Marcos and his team do an amazing job!!! Please bring your pup here, you will not regret it!!!

Amazing staff.. Very knowledge. Very clean and well kept place. Nice big windows so you can peak on in to see your kiddos playing before you leave! Also amazing prices definitely coming back and recommending!

We took our two dogs in for an evaluation today and were very impressed by the cleanliness, friendliness, and safety of this facility! We are very excited to bring our dogs in for boarding and daycare. It seems they put a lot of care into how they separate dogs by size and temperament. The person that helped us at the front desk was super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend so far.

for YEARS we have brought our dogs to Noda Bark and Board. The staff is so sweet, caring and genuine. They take good care of our dogs and we can tell because they are excited when they get there and excited when they see staff members. If you aren't going to NB+B get on it!

Love, love, LOVE NoDa Bark and Board!! They take amazing care of our pup for daycare and boarding. The drop off and pick up process is quick, which is great when I’m in a rush. The dogs have a ton of room to play, and they all clearly love being there. Our pup loves Bark and Board so much that he is in full tail-wagging mode as soon as he realizes that’s where we are headed in the morning. Pro tip: Occasionally, daycare gets full for the day, or is closed to accommodate boarding. Arrive early for daycare, and check social media for day daycare availability, on days that are likely to be popular boarding days like holidays and long weekends.

The NoDa B&B team are awesome! They are always excited to see their canine friends and my pup loves going! Nice, clean, convenient facility!

You will not find a better day care in Charlotte with staff that genuinely care for your dog. While they don’t have “puppachinos” or “pumpkin spice blow outs” for an additional cost…they do have people loving your dogs and watching them carefully. I’ll take that any day over the eye candy. Making sure they are safe and with the appropriate play group. I have never been concerned with my dog when he came home. He’s always in the same condition as I left him. Just extra tired 😉

My dog and I love it here. Get here early (before 7:30) though for daycare.

I’ve been using this place for years with two different dogs (first one passed). 5 stars because my dogs have always been obsessed with it — and we’ve gone to other places when they’ve been booked up. My current dog comes home from daycare exhausted and stays that way until the next day. They have also taken steps recently to make clients feel more connected, such as thank you emails after boarding overnight. They don’t have the bells and whistles of cameras to observe them during the day, but I don’t feel like I need those things and my dog shows me his preference where I wouldn’t seek anywhere else over something as small as that.

My dogs are treated with love and care, could not ask for better.

We were looking for a place to board our pup while visiting Charlotte. In calling for information, the person who answered the phone (I think her name was Jordan) was excessively curt and rude. They are not currently accepting new clients (which could easily be posted on their website), which is fine, but the rudeness was unnecessary.

We love it here and have been happy during our three+ years there. Our little pup loves playing with her friends and the staff is beyond caring and kind.

Our pup loves day care here! They are affordable, amazing with the dogs, provide consistent fun for our fur baby, and are extremely accommodating and flexible. And they post photos of your pup on their Instagram so you can stalk your furry child while you’re at work or out of town!

I've used Happy Hounds twice a week for the last several months and had my Boomer stay with Holly for a week. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Very dependable & very loving! Never worry about a no-show or that my baby wouldn't be well cared for plus Boomer loves them! Highly recommend!!

I just moved to the Charlotte area and had to go out of town for a wedding. I contacted Happy Hounds regarding a meet and greet. From the first message, Holly was amazing. She was very prompt in responding and took the time to meet with us to see if home-style boarding would work. The online portal made it very easy to schedule, communicate and pay for the services. When I picked up my dog, he was very happy and I could tell he had the best time :) Huge peace of mind knowing that my dog is in great hands! All around a wonderful, stress-free experience. What an amazing discovery finding Happy Hounds has been! Such a relief to find an alternative to boarding and kennels. Happy Hounds is the best boarding option for me in the Charlotte area! I have been in-home boarding with Holly for several years. I could not recommend Happy Hounds highly enough. Your dogs are treated like family, and the communication is wonderful; I always am reassured and reminded that my senior dog is having fun and being an angel. I will be using them for dog walks in the future, too!

We had a wonderful experience with this service! We left our dog with Holly during a week-long trip out of town. He normally has some anxiety issues so boarding him was not an option for us. For the same price we were able to leave him with a passionate, caring dog lover in a home-like environment who treated him like family. We got lots of reassuring photos and updates while we were gone and Brownie was very happy! We will definitely use Happy Hounds again and again!

Happy Hounds is amazing! Happy Hounds is the first pet sitting we’ve used and they completely exceeded our expectations. One of our dogs is blind and Holly was super comfortable with her. When we came to pick our dogs up, they were happy to see us but not happy to leave! Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this service! We got an 8 week old puppy which we were completely unprepared for in regards to potty training and needing multiple walks per day. Needless to say when Monday morning came around I panicked. Holly was so accommodating on such short notice. She came over to meet my baby free of charge and was able to give me multiple options for us to choose from in order to best meet our needs. Our little one requires 2 and sometimes 3 walks per day, our schedule may very week to week and this has been no problem at all for a very reasonable price. Our puppy is always calm (as a puppy can be) and happy when we get home. Holly pays such great attention to our baby and has been great in reinforcing all of her training needs. I get wonderful text messages and pictures that help reassure me that she is doing well and she always looks so excited to be out with Holly. Happy Hounds is a caring attentive service for your pets needs and is extremely reliable and affordable .

Happy Hounds is the BEST. Holly cares for my dog 4 times a week while I am at work. This has been so helpful for me because not only does Holly walk her and let her out, she is also super flexible and caring. She can give my dog treats and chew toys that I only want her to have for half the day, leave her in or out of her crate, etc. Holly sends me a status update and picture every day, which I love getting! She's also really been there for us in a pinch when I unexpectedly need a last-minute walk and has even cleaned up puppy accidents a couple of times... My dog also home boarded with Holly over a long weekend. She was so well-cared for and it was so easy for me because Holly picked her up and dropped her off for me. The prices are also the cheapest I have seen in Charlotte. I didn't think I would be able to afford a dog walker but Happy Hounds has been tremendously valuable to me (and cheap)!

I've used a few different pet-sitting services over the years and Happy Hounds is by far the best! Holly is amazing. Not only does she take excellent care of my dog, but she's respectful of my home as well. She brings in the mail and trash bins; knows how to work my alarm system; will turn lights on and off and will even spend the night when I have to go out of town for work. She is responsive to new sitting requests and always sends an update (and picture!) via text when she's at my house. Best of all, she loves what she does and it shows! Her human clients and her pet clients love her equally as well!

This place is horrible! Dogs out in heat it was 80 degrees and dogs outside with no air-conditioning. Lots of poeple around and pestering and bothering the dogs. All the dogs looked very sad and hot.

Sometimes you just luck out and happen to find the best pet sitters via a google search! Heather and Amber have been a God send since I moved to the area. They are caring, responsive, attentive. I couldn’t do life without them. My cat Oliver and I thank you! Know that what you do is a gift ❤️

I’ve used Pit Stop for several trips over the past few years and am always so thankful for their help. They care for our pets like their own, making our time away that much more relaxing. Pit Stop is the only service we trust leaving our dogs with. Jules and Beckett are incredible with our dogs, who are not always easy. Everyone who has watched our dogs has been highly experienced with caring for animals. The company as a whole does a wonderful job of communication during pet sitting stays. Cannot recommend high enough Pit Stop.

Heather is incredible! We have a dog and two cats and she takes such good care of them every time we are out of town! She sends us sweet photos of our babies when she visits and she makes sure they have everything they need. She even puts on music for the dog when there are fireworks or thunder. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Heather and her team of PHENOMENAL experts are exactly what I was looking for here in CLT. We have 3 crazy animals and they love Heather and her crew. They keep the house looking nice and lived in, communicate effectively, send tons of photos and updates, I've had ZERO issues since booking with them and more importantly, my fur children LOVE the sitters. You can absolutely know that they are in the best care. I truly appreciate this wonderful little company because this is more than just a job, they treat pets like their own.

Pit Stop Pet Services is the best service for pets. We have used them regularly for a couple years now for in home sitting, pet boarding, dog walks and cat visits. Heather is always reliable and we never hesitate to use them. We know we can fully trust the health and care of our babies with their care. You book visits on a convenient app and get gps updates and always the cutest photos to brighten my day when I am not home. Excellent service!

Heather and the PIt Stop team have been trusted caretakers of our Beagle/Basset mix for the last 5 plus years. Heather is extremely responsive, professional, and the dogs she takes care of are all well tended to and given the love they need when their owners are at work or on vacation. It gives us a lot of comfort that she takes such close personal care of the pets she is watching over and we greatly prefer using her on longer trips vs. putting our dog into a kennel. Would recommend Pit Stop to anyone who wants their pets to have intimate care while they are away. She treats our dog like she was one of her own!

Pit Stop Pet is the best! My Pomeranian is a shy, skittish little guy who does not take well to new people. Heather took the time to get him to warm up to her and now she sends me videos of how excited he is when she comes in the door! She is the only person I trust to leave him with overnight too. She is great about giving updates and sending pictures so I always feel at ease knowing he’s with her. Heather and her team are great for quick walks, daily visits, and overnight sitting. Great services with reasonable prices!

If you have the chance to use Heather and her crew at Pit Stop Pet Services, do it!! I am a travel nurse who's been on assignment in the Charlotte area for the past 6 months. Heather and Jules have faithfully accommodated my schedule and NEVER missed a walk! They are extremely reliable and they even came out during a hurricaine while I worked my 12 hour shift! My dog always looks so happy in the picture updates they send. You can tell they really care about their clientele! They communicate any concerns and have even medicated my guy for me when I needed them to. I can't thank these guys enough and I definitely can't recommend them enough!!

My boys are big fans of Lucky Dog! We’ve been coming to Lucky Dog for 5+ years. I couldn’t imagine them going anywhere else. Their rates are fair & competitive. I travel almost every week for work & the boys stay at Lucky Dog. I know they’re safe and well taken care of. I love the staff & they treat our furkids so well.

Great bar for yourself and dog. Drink prices are low and cocktails really good. The dogs are chill and we’ve never had an issue with a dog fight or anything so we prefer it over any dog park! Large patio area, partly covered and plenty of tables. Our go to when we want the fur baby to have a night on the town w us 👌🏾 …

Let us book 10 days of boarding. Go to drop off day of boarding and they tell us our dog can’t stay due to an expired vaccine but couldn’t tell us this when we booked. I understand the safety concern for the other dogs but obviously you saw in the system the vaccine expiration but couldn’t tell us when we booked so we could get a new one.

Love going to Lucky Dog! Plenty of canines having fun most of the time. Spacious outdoor recreation. Two indoor playrooms & outdoor heaters, as well as numerous fans for the warmer months.

Such an amazing place to take your dog. The facility is clean, the staff is so wonderful and attentive. They have brought things to me proactively on if my dog didn’t feel good that day or something out of concern and as a dog mom, that is so appreciated! My dog loves going there!

They are amazing. Elle absolutely loved it there. I was gone for 2 weeks and this was my first time boarding her here. I loved getting the daily reports and photos and it put me at ease knowing they were taking such great care of Elle and she was having so much fun with the staff and other pups. Elle can’t wait to go back.

something has changed with the management here we have been boarding and doing daycare services here for over a year our dog Calliope last visit was August 13th before the discovery of 2 mass cell tumors they were removed and is undergoing chemotherapy. I brought Calliope in today 11/5/2023 we were told that she has been moved into non social grouping due "incidents" as a customer I was never told about these incidents Everytime I asked how she did they stated "all good nothing to worry about" we'll be looking for other boarding options.

This was a fun place to hang out, bring your dogs and get a good drink, named after dogs, or beer. You can sit in with the dogs playing or sit outside the play area and let them run around on their own. There is also a fun outdoor area in good weather.

LD is one of the best dog bars in Charlotte. They have great staff, great food trucks and a wide variety of beer and drink choices with indoor and outdoor areas for both small and big dogs. We’ve been coming here for four years. No cover and great specials!

What's not to love about this place? Alcohol and dogs is all one needs in life! One of my biggest gripes with dog bars is either their cleanliness or lack of supervision - but Lucky dog handles it great! There is always someone there to pick up after the dog and staff are always monitoring the dogs. Also, the layout of the area makes it very easy to track your pup. The other great thing about Lucky Dog is the grooming and boarding is right there! You can get it all done in one place! Two tips: sign up for the loyalty program to get points on all your purchases! Also, go on Tuesdays for $15 beer and grooming!

My sweet Turkey loves Club Fetch! He always gets so excited when we pull in for daycare, and is always greeted by lovely, smiling staff who are excited to see him as well. These staffers genuinely care about my little boy. As someone whose dog is my whole entire world, I can leave him there with confidence and an eased mind. They also have great special events with ADORABLE photoshoots, and are always willing to give Turk a nail trim if I ask! 10/10! We love Club Fetch!

We always board our dogs here and they always come home so happy and so well taken care of, Club Fetch does a great job. Our dogs aren’t huge players with other dogs, and the staff always gives them attention and makes sure they are loved. They are happy to see them and so kind. Our dogs have medicine(s) and they always administer them correctly and ask questions. They have good space for dogs to run/play given its South End. We always get outside picture of them! Overall I feel like my dogs are loved, happy, and safe when they are there. The staff is always accommodating when we have had to change plans last minute and or several days out. Recently Stephanie especially helped me when I was in a crunch - she was kind and professional. I give whole the staff, the system they run, and the facilities five stars!!

Aspen did such a good job grooming our Great Pyrenees! When we originally took him to Club Fetch he was scared and didn’t let anyone touch him but Aspen worked with us over 3 sessions to make sure he was comfortable. By the third time we took him in there she was able to completely groom him! She has the magic touch!

Club Fetch saved the day! Memorial Weekend, I had to run out of town and the Dogsitter that we had booked was no longer available. This would have been our dogs first long ride and we didn’t want to chance it so we took a chance on Club Fetch. Lindsey was very friendly and you can tell she’s an absolute dog lover. She made sure to discuss the various packages that they offered and got us squared away. We selected the pack and play package where your pet would get cuddles and story time and we would get a photo report card of how he was going each day. The photos, while some were not good, did put us at ease seeing his face. Some of the photos were blurry, others seemed to have on a filter, or just a bad shot- nonetheless we were grateful for having them save the day. We made it to see my aunt (who was ill and hospitalized and back to Charlotte). Here is where our feelings dampened. Upon return, we were told about additional fees, that were not disclosed at drop off, additionally, we ordered a spa bath and they must’ve forgotten as they ran to do it after I called and said I was on my way and they brought him out soaking wet and not dried with no fragrance. To top it off, I was told that he wasn’t a fan of the dryer when he’s had several spa baths previously at another facility. The lady that assisted me upon my return was very lackluster and nonchalant and borderline rude. I stood my ground and told her what was covered with me upon my check-in and what wasn’t and I was told she was adjusting the bill. Oh, I forgot to mention, when I returned on Tuesday, they had me in the system for a 6 night stay and he was there for 4 nights. I was billed for a package for 6 nights and he was only there for 4…this is what the lady told me she corrected. I swiped my card, got our pup and left. Once I got home and reviewed the invoice I noticed that I was still overcharged. I called and left a message and the next day Lindsey returned my call and said she was getting the error corrected and refunding me a little more for all of the trouble. I’m on the fence about returning because my pup did return and had diarrhea for a few days. His vet gave him some meds for his stomach and now he is on the mend. Read everything before signing and double check everything. Keep in mind if you are boarding your pet during any holiday that there is an up charge for boarding during those “peak” times. I was told that over the Memorial Day weekend they had over 100 dogs there. They also offer doggie cookies as a sweet treat and an add on for your pup. I ordered a Memorial Day cookie and I was suppose to get a photo of him with it, but someone missed the mark. Not sure, if we will return but this first time visit was definitely chaotic.

Poppy LOVES club fetch! We had tried another daycare in the area which went horribly. I was so worried bringing her to a new place she/I would have the same experience. It was NOTHING like the other daycare. Lindsey took the time to explain their process and philosophy, tell me exactly how they were going to get poppy to warm up to them, and followed through on that promise to get Poppy to love daycare. After just 3 trips there, poppy now sprints inside, tail wagging, so excited to have a day of play with all her friends (human and puppy!). I am so grateful for the amazing staff they have there.

Bear and I love club fetch! The staff is all amazing and friendly and they know who bear is as soon as he walks in! When I ask bear “you wanna go to daycare?” He immediately gets excited and runs to the door! Cannot recommend enough! Lindsey is amazing and knows the dogs by name, she is the best!!

I have been taking my dog Meli to Club Fetch for a year. I could not be happier with the employees at club fetch. It gives me so much comfort knowing that she is well taken care of every time she goes to daycare and that she doesn’t have to be at home while I’m at work. She loves playing with other dogs and every time I pick her up at the end of the day her tongue is hanging out of her mouth and she has a big grin on her face! I highly recommend every service at club fetch. Meli also gets groomed there and she looks adorable every time! It’s nice because you can drop them off for daycare and they can get grooming services while they are there. Thank you club fetch for making our babies happy and safe!

After boarding my dog here for the first time for a weekend I was disappointed at pick up on Sunday. After requesting a bath during the online check in process and in person at time of drop off, when we clarified a basic shampoo and dry on Sunday morning, my dog was not bathed prior to pick up. I left two comfort toys at the facility with my dog and both were missing a time of pick up. The only response was "sorry", there was no offer of reimbursement, replacement, or even to take down a mailing address to mail the toys if found.

My yorkie needed a grooming desperately. We had tried a groomer after moving to Charlotte and I was not too happy with them. It took a while to find a place near me that I was comfortable going to and Club Fetch was perfect as well as Jackie his groomer. I will definitely go back. She did an awesome job and he looks adorable!

I recently boarded my pup here this past weekend for the first time and took her to her meet and greet/doggy daycare, and both time when I picked her up, she had the biggest smile on her face. It was the happiest I’d seen her since I’d rescued her. I will definitely be getting a doggy daycare package for her since she loves Club Fetch so much!

I was very grateful to find Queen City Pet Sitting. This was the first extended vacation I took with my parents, and usually we are each other's sitters when we travel. I rely heavily on reviews and stumbled upon QC Pet Sitting and I could not be happier! Stacey the owner immediately responded to my query and provided me with a quote. Their prices are fair and reasonable compared to their competitors and the services did not disappoint. Sarah stayed with our 3 pups in my home while we were on a 7-night cruise. I was very nervous since this is the longest any of has have left our furbabies with someone who wasn’t family. However, Sarah was extremely professional and gave us a huge sense of security and relief knowing they were safe in my home taken care of and treated like family. She sent timely updates and photos (and snuggled in bed) with every visit and kept me in the loop the entire vacation! I cannot thank Sarah and Queen City PS for their services. It is so wonderful to have this option in the future. We are already planning our next trip!

We have been using Queen City Pet Sitting for over a year now and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about their service. Booking my reservation was easy. The management is professional and prompt to get back to you if a question or concern arises. The sitters that we have had have been wonderful with our 4 legged baby. They were both very good about communicating and sending pictures and updates, frequently. We will definitely use their services again in the future!

We’ve used Queen City Pet Sitting 2-3 times now and would highly recommend them for anyone in the area. Our pet sitters came to meet us, get the layout of the house, introduce themselves to the pets (5 cats, some more skittish than others), and set up the schedule with us. Each pet sitter was diligent in letting us know when they stopped by the house and sent pictures of the pets (have added some of those to this review). We’ve had great experiences with them and will continue to use them when we have trips out of town! Stacey, the owner, and the staff are very communicative, friendly, and quick to answer questions whenever asked!

We were really happy with the care that Dennis took over our two cats while we were away. He visited us beforehand to learn the routine and meet them, and then communicated really thoroughly with us about each visit, including photos. That really set our minds at ease that the cats were being well looked after. We'd highly recommend him and Queen City Pet Sitting.

I have been using QCPS for about 2 months now and they have been there for me during 3 separate trips over that time period. I cannot say enough good things about this service. Stacey (owner) is absolutely fantastic and goes above and beyond for her clients. My dog, Whiskey (pictured), is a bit of a "special needs" case as he does not get along well with other pups. Additionally, I happen to live in a high-rise filled with other pups. So, getting him in and out safely can be a challenge. I have now had three visits without incident. The team (Casey and James) that have looked after Whiskey have taken the time to get to know him, understand his routine and ensure that my travel has not come at the expense of my best friend, Mr. Whiskers. In my most recent business trip, we were almost unable to find anyone to watch him and I was facing the possibility of driving 9.5 hours each way to and from Florida for a video shoot. Stacey came through in the last minute, offering up her office manager as a solution. Her words, "I put myself in your shoes and I just couldn't do that to you." These people are incredible, reasonably priced, care about you & your fuzzy buddies personally and I am just so very thankful I found them!

My family had a long trip planned, at the last minute I realized I needed pet care, my usual sitter wasn’t available. One of my neighbors uses someone from Queen City and loves them. So I reached out, the owner Stacey immediately called me, she hooked me up with the best pet sitter ever! Sharon took such good care of my babies, went above and beyond doing things that needed done like bringing in packages. I was nervous at first because I didn’t know her, but Stacey reassured me she’d been thoroughly background checked with lots of glowing references. She lived up to all the praise!! It’s so nice to have someone like that to trust your fur babies and your home with when you leave town. I’m so grateful to Stacey and Sharon…they took care of me and my babies when I was in need!

She has given such love to my elderly dogs, one of which we recently lost. Her compassion exudes from her. Hugest gratitude for their service. Recommend with zero hesitation.

He texted me updates and pictures of our dog during his visits, and he spent extra time and showed lots of patience when he was being temperamental. It’s awesome that he gets cared for in our home where he’s comfortable and has everything he needs. Love this place and their staff. Always professional and super helpful. I’ve had at-home and on-site puppy training. My dogs love the daycare and the Saturday school. And Mirna, the groomer is fantastic. It’s so convenient that they can play in the morning and get groomed in the afternoon. Andy (owner) is always making enhancements and their grounds are huge. I can’t say enough good things about them.

Star Dog is the best training, grooming, and day care facility in Charlotte! My Australian shepherd Nori has struggled with anxiety ever since her spay, and no amount of training I tried was helping her overcome it. After only 5 days of training and several group classes, I’ve already seen more progress in her than I ever could have expected. She is her most confident self at Star Dog, and it’s all thanks to the entire team there for being so caring, patient, and attentive to the dogs they work with! If you’re looking to do some training with your dog, Star Dog is the place to go!

Our newly adopted rescue dog was afraid of everything including walking on a leash. Our vet recommended Star Dog. Their emphasis has been on both socialization and training. Her progress has been amazing to see! We could not be happier with the facility and staff, they are wonderful!

Best day care, training, and grooming spot in Charlotte. Highly recommend for all services. We’ve had two dogs, several years apart, do day camp, group training, and one-on-one training. We have a lot of freedom to do life with our dogs after star dog training. Top notch experience. The facility - outdoor area and indoor are perfectly suited for play and training. All in all a great experience. We are very grateful for Andy, Liz, Jarrell, Mirna, and the entire star dog team!

I have never felt as comfortable with a facility for my dog as I have at “Star Dog!” We started in home training for our puppy with one of their trainers, Genna (highly recommend!!!) & transitioned to current Saturday puppy classes and now our pup also attends their daycare weekly. Facility is spacious, clean, and the team truly cares about your pup. 10/10!!

Andy (the owner of Star Dog) did a wonderful job helping us train our rescue puppy Maggie. We paid for 3 lessons at home and it was money well spent. Andy showed up on time and involved the entire family in the trainings. I'm still impressed how well Maggie responded to the training. Andy showed us how to reinforce each lesson, he is a natural and a true pro. With Andy's help Maggie became a well mannered dog. I highly recommend Star Dog to my friends who are in need of help with their dogs.

My husband and I became first time dog parents to a rambunctious Irish Setter (Henry) in the spring of this year. Knowing we wanted to invest in training, we had been in touch with Star Dog prior to his arrival, as they were highly recommend by a friend of ours. Since then, Henry completed both training programs (on leash and off leash), attends day camp every week and group classes as often as we can. We still can’t believe how far Henry has come and our bond with him is so much stronger because of it. Star Dog is our community and one of Henry’s favorite places to be. Henry used to have severe car sickness, but it stopped after his first time at day camp - go figure! Every single person that has worked with Henry has been a pivotal support during our transition into puppy/dog parenthood. Andy’s experience and wisdom is truly remarkable and him, Genna, and Jarrell have been the most patient and supportive coaches. Christian has managed Henry in the dog park from day 1 and has attributed so much to Henry’s success. Lisa invests in Henry (and all the dogs at Star Dog) like they are her own and we couldn’t be more grateful for that. My husband says that the main thing Star Dog sells is hope, and he’s not wrong! Wish we could give more than 5 stars!

I used to take my dog Milo to day care here but was told they offer training too. Andy and Jarrel trained my dog Milo and did a great job with him. I have a one year golden that used to pull on leash on walks, roll on the floor and snap when trying to approach his collar, and jump when greeting. They trained Me and Milo for 4 days continuously and I’m amused by the results. He comes when called, he looks/pays attention to me on walks and is more calm. We are still training and will be attending group classes to learn more and support what was learned. They always work with my schedule which is great. Thank you guys for all the help and looking forward to learn more

Andy and the team are awesome. More old school than other places but in the best way. Super casual, puppy classes are fun, and they train you to train your dogs which is absolutely the best approach. They just make things easy!

We love this place! Genna and Andy are amazing trainers, and have helped us so much with our 8-month old puppy. We completed their puppy class a few months ago, have attended the agility class as well; both were super helpful with training and socialization, and always left Hamilton feeling happy and tired. The star dog team has helped us with all of our puppy questions, and have spent so much time and attention talking through things with us. Can't recommend this place enough!

I have only the best things to say about Andrew and his team! I hired Cornelius Pet Care to watch my cat when I went out of the country for 11 days. The service was truly so amazing. Andrew is so responsive before hand and you meet who will be watching you pet before. Every single person who stopped by was amazing, did everything I asked and I felt like they all went the extra mile (special shoutout to Abigail & Donna). My cat was in the best of hands and my anxiety of leaving my cat was kept at bay with the daily report cards and photos. This was such an easy and wonderful experience. I highly recommend Cornelius Pet Care for any of your pet sitting needs. Thank you so so much!!

I hired them to watch my pets while attending a family member’s funeral out of town. I gave them the dates twice. They claimed to have written them down. When I returned home I had found my animals starving and thirsty, and feces and pee everywhere. I had to throw away a $250 living room rug. My children and I cleaned for days. When I confronted them about the situation, they stated that I gave them the wrong dates. I assured them that I did not and that they made a mistake. They proceeded to tell me that because I am grieving the loss of a family member that I was hostile and upset and that they would take no responsibility for their actions. Thank goodness my pets survived. They also blocked me from messaging them about the incident after I asked for reimbursement. Safe yourself the trouble and hire someone else for your fur babies! I read your response to this btw. Everything you just stated is a lie. None of that is even close to true. The lengths you will go to avoid accountability is disturbing to say the least. I hope no one else ever has to experience something like this from your business ever again. I would like to let you know that while you blocked me to hide the messages between us, I did take screen shots of all of them. I will see you in small claims!

Absolutely recommend Andrew and Carol Ann. They are super reliable and wonderful with all three of my fur babies. I love the updates and pics they send, really puts me at ease whenever I go out of town. All three always have a great time when they come by to visit.

Cornelius Pet Care LLC is an awesome company. I used them several times while I was out of town. They took great care of my dog Jax. I received pictures everyday of Jax. They even brought him snacks.

Very reliable - we have enjoyed engaging with everyone at Cornelius Pet Care. They are our go to for helping with our fur babies. You can always tell good care is given when your dogs can’t wait to see them or stay at their house.

A neighbor recommended this sitter so I called and he had me go to his site and fill out a lengthy questionnaire, add CC info and setup a meet and greet. THEN he reads my lengthy bio and sees I have Rottweiler, calls and cancels the meeting. He could have asked the breed on the call and not wasted my time. If you fear Rottweilers you seem to be in the wrong business.

We've used Cornelius Pet Care for a year and a half now for our four fur babies (2 dogs and 2 cats). Whether we are a couple hours down the road or on another continent, we've felt really comfortable leaving our pets under their care. We get updates after each visit and we laugh at the pictures they take while on our trip. Their booking services are easy and convenient to use and they are always super flexible with scheduling to accommodate travel changes. Definitely recommend to friends in the area!

My husband and I are so happy to have found Cornelius Pet Care. We have 4 pups and they need to be walked daily/ let out while we are working. We trust Andrew and Carol Ann to come into our home and take care of our furbabies. They give our pups fresh water, change out potty pads and give our pups lots of attention/ treats. We have used Cornelius Pet Care since Spring of 2023 and they have been so incredible to us AND our pups. They are always on time, flexible and they take the best care of our two dogs. Their app is so easy to use and they are always incredibly quick with communication and scheduling.

We trusted Midwood Pet Sitting with the care of our two cats over the Christmas holiday. Rebecca and her team were phenomenal from the moment of first contact. She took the time to learn our house and the unique personalities of both our kitties several weeks before our reservation began. While they were sitting we got detailed daily updates, adorable photos, and even some celebratory videos when our shy cat finally emerged and began to play. The Midwood Pet Sitting team was very consistent in the time of day they visited (good for animals on a routine), loving and enthusiastic in their play and care with our furry guys, and incredibly responsive to us as clients whenever we had questions or updates. Rebecca has been taking care of our 3 fur pups for 4 years now! They range in age from 2 to 15 and she knows just what each one needs. We trust her to stay over with them when we are out of town and she has become part of our family! She can do quick lunchtime visits or longer stays....she loves the animals and has an amazing work ethic!

Amazing!! Rebecca and her husband do such a wonderful job caring for my 55lb lab mix. They fill his water, give him approved treats, take him on nice long walks, play with him, plus attention and love all for a minimum charge. It was such a relief to know my fur baby was in good hands and getting extra love during the long work days. They were flexible when I needed days switched and even accommodated my request for time of day which made all the difference. They offer additional services like mail pick-up or snagging packages to put them inside, watering plants, etc. to ensure you are happy and satisfied with service.
