Catherine took care of our Kobe for two weeks whilst we were overseas, and he seemed so happy playing on the beach and in the lounge with the other pups. When Kobe became unexpectedly ill, Catherine promptly took him to the local vet and kept us informed every step of the way. Thank you so much Catherine for your care and attention!

We highly recommend Catherine for doggy daycare and boarding. Charlie was a timid dog when she joined daycare and has benefitted from regular socialisation with other dogs and she adores Catherine! Charlie just spent 10 days happily boarding with Catherine in a safe and loving home environment. Charlie was well cared for and happy on our return. Catherine took great care of Nessie our 2 year old dog while we were away on a recent holiday. From the start Catherine’s approach and understanding of dogs was immediately reassuring that Nessie would be both well cared for and have a good time. Nessie settled really quickly in Catherine’s home and with the other dogs. We received photos & videos of the dogs out walking, exploring new dog parks and relaxing at home almost daily. Nessie was clearly having a exceedingly good time and was being well cared for. I highly recommend Catherine as a dog minder and we would definitely leave Nessie with her again.

The service Catherine provides at Salty Dogs is fantastic and this is evident in how excited our little cavoodle is to go there. We get sent photos and videos of the various adventures the dogs get to go on during the day. I think it’s fair to say that the time our dog spends at daycare with her friends is the highlight of her week.

Catherine is amazing and has provided so much love, kindness and support for our dogs, present and for our recently departed boy. We are blessed to have her in our lives, Poppy loves the walks when we are at work for the day.

Our dog Squid is our princess. We were worried about taking her from the daycare she's been at for 12 years to move onto somewhere new. Salty Dogs has exceeded our expectations in every way. We would never have thought that for the same price, Squid would get one on one attention (as opposed to 20:1 attention), two walks a day, quality sofa snuggles and in the care of Catherine, who clearly is a dog person. Squid loves Catherine who recognises her needs as an older girl, so much so that Squid HOOTS with excitement on the drive to Salty Dogs. We should have moved her sooner. 100% recommend.

I was so thrilled to have my precious boy dropped off after spending a lovely weekend with Catherine. He came home relaxed and happy. Catherine sent me lots of photos and a video of Reggie running around the beach. I would highly recommend Catherine.

My dog Hero had such a fun time with Catherine and Hugo, he was happy and relaxed throughout and has been very expressive since he came home and keen to play. He really enjoyed spending time with the other friendly dogs, and I enjoyed the nice updates from Catherine every day. Thank you Hero will be back to play soon!

I used to kennel my dogs here but sadly they have died. Tracy runs a wonderful business caring. At the moment I've been taking a friend's dog out from there to walk at Makara Beach once a week while my friends the owners are away. Tracy has been very supportive of my doing this.

What a lovely place. The team are wonderful, and the facilities are excellent. I just wish Fred was a bit more happy to come home when I pick him up. He might be having too much fun at Doggy Camp.

I have been taking my girl Maggie to Dog Bach since she was little. Tracy and her team are all wonderful, kind, and caring and I have never worried about leaving Maggie in their care. Communication is excellent and prompt. Book early as this is a smaller kennel, but well worth the drive out to Mākara. Best kennel in Wellington!

Haven't been yet but as we are going to pick up both our new puppies next weekend we will definitely be training them and bringing them here during our overseas trip. I loved all the reviews and look forwarded to bringing our beautiful babies to use :) can't wait to meet the team.

Our golden retriever has stayed at the Dog Bach several times over the past year as we carry out home renovations - sometimes for 2 weeks at a time. Tracy and the team are wonderful, we know he is well cared for, in clean and safe facilities and has a great time. The team really care about the dogs in their care and ensure they have good play mates! Would definitely recommend them, but give them plenty of notice as they are always in demand!

What a great place! You can really tell that the staff love dogs--good vibes. Tracy was so helpful and friendly. I boarded my pup for a week. She got to play with a lot of other dogs. The facility is clean and well managed. I highly recommend Dog Bach :)

Probably not really relevant! It's years since been here! But worked here for the couple who owned the Ridgebacks! 🐕🐕 Loved it! 💛 They were great to work for!👍 Also was an amazing walk we use to take dog's🦮 down to like a waterfall swimming area! 🌊 Was great! Enjoyed my time here!🙂 As I'm sure the people who have it now do! 👋

Yuli checked in at The Dog Bach last week, and when we picked her up after 5 days she was happy and well. The place looks great, bathed in green with lots of fresh air. The team is professional and attentive, and they took excellent care of our girl. Will definitely use them again.

Pickles had a pretty cool holiday at the Dog Bach. He gets very well looked after and it's always such a treat going to pick him up and see how happy he has been. Thanks Tracy and the team! We look forward to booking in Pickles for his next summer vacation.

Excellent service - they went above and beyond expectations - and reasonably priced. My dogs came away in a playful, happy mood, and I will certainly be using their services again. Recommended.
