I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!

Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!

Misti
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly & Thomas
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

Abi and David were FABULOUS pet sitters during our 5-day trip. They were devoted and fun dog walkers, park-goers and ball throwers. They communicated well and sent pictures. Jacob sat for us during our holiday in March. We do not have any pets but we do have garden plants etc to look after. Jacob did a fantastic job of looking after the young plants that had arrived by post the day before we went away. He sent us regular updates and photos of how the plants were doing. We came home to a very clean and tidy house and thriving plants. Jacob did a great job and we have no hesitation in recommending him. Our dog and two cats absolutely adored them, and we came back to a very clean home with happy animals :) They were very reliable and fast communicators. They even had to deal with our power going out while we were away, and they handled it well. David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)

We brought our 4 year old German shepherd/ husky for a last minute stay. They were extremely accommodating, provided photos, a report card and provided exceptional care to our baby. He got to go for a nature walk, have some yard time and play in the pool which is his favorite activity in the world! Staff was extremely lovely and we can’t wait to come back!! Photo is after pick up! He’s usually awake in the car!
The staff is very nice and the care they give is individualized to the pet. My animals are always happy and relaxed when I pick them up. The facility has been modernized and is very clean and attractive.
I was a little apprehensive about taking my two dogs to a kennel. They are 5 and 7 years old and normally they stay at home with a sitter when we go away. My dogs made out fine and were very happy when we picked them up after a 14 day stay. I will certainly take them back to Golden Wood when we go on our next trip!
It's hard to have someone else watch your pets but I really trust Golden Wood. Their communication is amazing and it's so wonderful to be able to book online. My dog and my cat have both stayed at Golden Wood and I will continue to bring them here when I go out of town. The staff is very helpful and I am so happy knowing my pets are in good hands!
Golden Wood is a great place to leave your pet while you are on vacation. We have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and she is very lovable. They have a wonderful staff, and they just love when Abigail smiles at them. We really get to enjoy our vacation knowing that they are taking great care of our Abigail while we are away. Golden Wood definitely gets 5 stars and hands down the best place to leave your pets. I will highly recommend them to anyone who asks where to leave their pets. #1goldenwood kennels is the BEST
We have used Golden Wood Kennels numerous times for our two dogs. We love the staff and our dogs love the staff, which is the most important thing. Love getting pics of their snuggle time and we always feel comfortable boarding them there, knowing they will be safe, comfortable and most of all LOVED!!!!
Kelley R. gave our pup her first haircut and it is adorable! Our pup doesn't have her confidence yet with new situations and people and this made me nervous leaving her for grooming. But I felt she was safe at Golden Wood and obviously Kelley was able to keep her calm and gave her an awesome haircut. We will be back.

We love this place! Tammy is awesome! We quickly could tell how she got to know our dogs in just one visit. We made the mistake of using another boarder a little closer to us but discovered it was well worth the extra drive time. I have no doubt that they are in good hands when dropping them off. We have a old pug and 4 year old boxer. We were worried that the boxer would be too much, but it was no problem.
LOVE LOVE LOVE them! I take my dogs there and they are amazing! My Great Dane is a little standoffish and weird with people and the staff here are so great with her! They are very detail oriented and will call me with any concerns which is very appreciated. I never have to worry when I leave my dogs here. I highly recommend them!
This place is the absolute best and the only place my boys could stay when me and my fiance' is out of town. I have a 6 yr old Yorkie/Shitzu and a 2 yr old miniature schnauzer who both suffer from separation anxiety and my Yorkie has aggression problems and has been banned from several daycare places, However they were very patient and understanding and willing to work with us and through my boys problems. They are very affordable and very kind and I thank you so much for accepting my dogs and giving us the peace of mind that they are well taken care of while at your location.
We love our pets and like to travel which could be a dilemma. It is not because of this kennel. I wish my friends who can't believe I would leave my dog at a kennel could see him run to their door, bark to be let in and run to greet the owners. He seems to be very happy there. And, his sister, the cat, comes home with her same personality, Wonderful kennel and owners who understand and love animals!
I am very particular about where and who I let care for my dogs. I'm a trainer and some of my rehab cases need special handling. Plus my working dogs have thousands of $ invested in training. I trust Pinewood kennel implicitly to be able to to care for the needs of my dogs. Their prices are great. My training clients will board with me when I have space but I'm limited on capacity so if I don't have room I always suggest Pinewood. They are true dog people with experience. I can be a worry wart when leaving my dogs but I know they are in good hands at Pinewood.
Absolutely the best! We have been using Pinewood since they opened their doors...maybe 20 years? Time flies. This is the only place my dogs will stay while I am away. Now that I live out of state, when I visit home, my dogs ride with me all the way to Pinewood for their vacation. Thank you for your wonderful care.
