Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. They had took great care of our dog and chickens and left the house and car in great shape. Plus, they’re just a really sweet young couple. We’d highly recommend them as house sitters.

Alyssa was a very organized and caring pet sitter. This was our longest house sitter stay and she took excellent care of our home and two sweet and bossy Frenchies. I liked her communication to touch base the week before and how she initiated a shared photo album. We prefer not to get bombarded with daily text message photos and updates. She came up with a connected solution and touched base throughout her stay keeping us informed and sharing photos without a push. She even shared some travel gems about our destination as she is also a curious traveler and enjoys exploring outdoors. We would be happy to use her again.

Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! Kelly and Chris are attentive housesitters. They went out of their way to connect with our dogs, especially Smitty, our rescue. The dogs were walked, brushed, and played with throughout the weeklong sit. They sent pics of how our fur babies were doing and truly seemed to enjoy their time with them. I don't know where to begin! I am so thankful for Potomac Pet Re-Treat! Lindsay has been helping with my girls, Sammie and Abbie, for about the last 12 years( Sammie is 12 and Abbie is 11) It started with over nights once a week and then when I was working full time we added in daily walks so they wouldn't be inside all day. My girls get so excited when I tell them Lindsay or Julie are coming to pick them up for their play date (an overnight stay) they run to the door with tails wagging. It is truly my girls home away from home. I love that Potomac Pet Re-Treat is cageless boarding. The facility Potomac Pet Re-treat has is large and perfect for my girls, they also have a nice size fenced in yard for outside play. The entire staff is wonderful and so good with the animals. They not only walk, play and feed my girls, but the give them their medicine as well, which includes giving one of my girls a shot twice a day. They are very dependable and answer calls and e-mails it a timely fashion. I just can't say enough great things about them! They offer a superb service and I would highly recommend them to all pet owners!
