Abby was truly the best pet sitter we've ever had. We were never concerned or worried about the care of our pups and home. All the neighbors have told me that the dogs looked happy on the many walks. She sent videos of photos about every other day. We hope that Abby will stay in our home next summer as well. Abby is very highly recommended by our whole family, including the dogs!!!

Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.

Carolina was a fantastic Pet sitter. From the beginning, it was straightforward to communicate with her. She met us before we left our trip and ensured she understood all the house and pet logistics. Luna and Cal were very comfortable with her and were best friends with her fast. She was very affectionate with them, and Luna and Cal loved her and were very happy with her. Carolina was very responsive and sent updates. She was really lovely and easy to communicate with. She was very respectful of our space and very tidy. 5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Milly was a lovely house sitter and I’d highly recommend her. She submitted a really great application and after a FaceTime chat it was an easy decision to choose her for our sit. She is the youngest sitter we’ve chosen but she has a maturity beyond her years and it was clear she had so much experience with animals that we felt confident leaving her in charge of our menagerie. Olive our young Pom has never been left with a sitter before so we were a little worried about how she would be but Milly was so patient, gentle and kind that she quickly won Olive over. So much so, on the morning Milly was leaving ,Olive would only let Milly put her harness on her before going for a walk. All the animals were perfectly cared for while we were away and we returned home to happy pets and a tidy house. Milly’s communication from our first contact and right through the sit was great and she even sent a lovely video of the dogs having fun on their walk. I’d have Milly back to housesit for us again anytime.

I'd never boarded my dogs before. I always had house sitters. I tried Susie's and I was pleased. My dogs seemed happy when I picked them up and didn't smell. When I took them back the second time they seemed happy to be there, so obviously no hard feelings from before. The folks were easy to work with and the check in, check out process was smooth. I was helping friends while they were on vacation in Greece. I had to pick up and drop off Barnum, their dog, several times. The staff that work here are so wonderful. You can tell right away how much they love all the pets. I would definitely recommend Susie's and if I had a pet I would not take it anywhere else. You guys are the best.
If I were a dog, I would want my owner to board me at Susie's. Joking aside, I've used Susie's to look after my 3 dogs many times over the last couple of years and have had a consistently excellent experience. I have no doubt how much the people who work there love animals, it shows, and it gives me total peace of mind leaving my boys with them. Additionally, they are wonderful people, kind and helpful. I cannot recommend them enough.

This is the only boarding facility where I wasn’t worried about the well-being of my 3 pups while I was away. Adorable and thought setup. Friendly owner. Extra clean facility. Fair prices. The only kennel we’ll use in Vancouver. Make sure you book early- they are popular and space is hard to come by!

I NEVER leave my dog! However I had to board him for several days & I'm so fortunate a friend told me about Susie's. Welcoming, clean, wonderful staff, excellent care of my baby and reasonably priced. Years ago I had a bad experience leaving my dog so I am very critical of any facility. Susie's ticks all the boxes. You can safely entrust your fur baby to their care.
Susie is a fantastic trainer and she runs an excellent, clean facility that cares about you and your dogs. We have had to leave town fairly frequently and Susie has been dependable, her staff is friendly, the drop-off process is thoughtful and clear. I can't say enough about the facility itself; it has a great vibe. It's welcoming and professional. I know my pets are safe. We feel so very fortunate to have Susie and her team to care for our pets when life takes us out of town. Would recommend, thank you.
Susie's is a great place to board your pet. They are so kind! It's always a good sign when your fur friend is pulling you across the parking lot to go inside. We love these guys and have had nothing but positive experiences.

Each dog has a private indoor kennel, private outside but covered kennel and daily access to one of four large grassy play areas. This is the second time ive taken my dogs here. The first time they were amazing, the next not so much. They came home with all of their paw pads torn and they were limping everywhere. The lady who gave them back said that they were limping because they have arthritis. I will NEVER take my pups here EVER again and I recommend you do the same. For your pups safety.
I cannot recommend this place enough! I started coming to SHCC 3 years ago with a pup that had issues. She was fear-reactive and didn’t play well with others. Kathy put my mind at ease and Althea did incredibly well here. Fast forward to 2022 and I now bring my girl here. I love the fact that the dogs have access to outdoor runs on their own and don’t have to pee indoors on cement painted green (I was REALLY concerned about my dog learning it was okay to pee inside). If you worry a bit too much about your dog when you’re away and question if anyone can care for them like you, I truly believe SHCC is the closest you’ll come to finding that care. Kathy and Gita are awesome!
My dog and I are so happy with Shady Hill. He loves to be outside, but he needs to have a private space to be away from other dogs sometimes. This set up, with a traditional kennel that opens up into a big play yard, works great for my dog - and reasonably priced. We're going on our second year as regulars here.

If you're looking for an alternative to the impersonal experience of using an app to find a random pet sitter - I can't recommend Leave It To Shoo! highly enough. She's easy to set up with (just 1 short visit to determine pet needs) and very communicative while you're away - provides daily updates and pictures of your pets. (Examples pictured) My pets were loved and taken care of by Shoo while I was away - and that's all than you can ask for!
We have had the best experience possible with Leave it to Shoo for the past 3 years. It is such peace of mind to know that our cat is being so well taken care of while we are away. Shoo has the key to our home on a permanent basis; we trust her implicitly. She always either answers her phone or gets back right away when we need to book her. She never has a problem working us into her schedule. Shoo brings in the mail, makes sure the house is secure, and always leaves a note and extra food and water for our cat on the last day. The litter box and surrounding area are kept immaculate. We can tell that Olaf has had a great time while we are gone because he is not vocal or clinging when we get back! They play together and Shoo gives him lots of love. We have no hesitation recommending Leave it to Shoo for in-home pet care!
Sharon was absolutely wonderful with all our animals (fish, parrot, cats, dog)! She sent us daily pictures and updates on how everybody was doing while my family was absent, and communicated very quickly and competently in handling a prickly situation with our not-too-friendly dog. She reads animal behavior very well, is very responsible and resourceful, and we highly recommend her services.
Shoo's been our go-to cat sitter for several years and has been great! She sends daily updates with pictures and keeps our plants alive as well. She is super reliable and responds very quickly. We'll definitely continue using her services for years to come!

Sharon is amazing! I recently moved to the area and, on a short notice, had to find a pet-sitter for my dog and a cat for a few days. Sharon took such a good care of them! My dog can be a little mischievous, so Sharon even built "a fort", so my dog wouldn't get to the cat's stuff. When I got back, pets looked happy and well taken care of. Sharon kept in touch me regularly, informing on how everything is. She definitely does more than just pet-sitting - she even texted me to make sure I landed ok and am safe on the way home. Sharon is an excellent pet sitter. Sharon pet sat for a week. She took special care of my kitty (a cancer survivor) who needed daily medication. In addition she took care of 2 other cats, and 2 rabbits. Daily she texted me with an update and made helpful suggestions. When I got home, the kitchen was spotless and the animals well cared for. I would use her again.
Shoo is very professional, gives attention to detail, and is a very caring provider for animals. Along with myself, several family members have also used her services. We have known Shoo even before she went into this business, and we trust her completely with our home and animals.

I had a week long vacation out of the country and was very thrilled when I found Lori! I have never left my bunny with someone before for that long and was super nervous. Lori made me feel much better about the whole process by giving me access to the bunny room camera and her extensive knowledge on rabbits. I got to check on my little guy the whole time I was gone! Will definitely use Whisker Wise boarding the next time I’m out of town!
My three guinea pigs are very spoiled and precious to me, so it’s hard for me to leave them when we go out of town. I am so glad to have found Whisker Wise! Lori takes excellent care of my girls and responds readily to texts when I inquire about how they’re doing. They stayed with her for over two weeks this summer while we were visiting family and upon picking them up I could see they were happy and healthy (no lost weight, which happened at a previous place we boarded them at). She even gives them fresh veggies/tomatoes from her garden! Definitely recommend Whisker Wise. :)
Our guinea pigs Teddy and Domino were very well cared-for during our week and half away this month. The owner is super responsive to texts, understanding and responsible, and even sent us a cute video of our babies. :) Would definitely use again! Oh, and it was super affordable too!
Whisker Wise watched my two bonded English Lop Rabbits for about 17 days. Lori did such a good and attentive job in caring for them! They seem healthy and happy as can be. I also really enjoyed that Whisker Wise Animal Care and Boarding has cameras set up over the rabbit areas so you can check in on your rabbit at any time. Lori is also extremely kind and definitely cares about the animals themselves. When my rabbits ran out of a supplement/treat Lori went out and bought some more. I would definitely leave my Rabbits with Whisker Wise again!
When I went out of town for a week I was glad to find a place like whisker wise and someone like Lori to take care of my bunny. I've never boarded her before so I was a little apprehensive, but Lori assured me she would be very well cared for. She even offered to place her in a pen with a camera. It was so nice to see her on video whenever I wanted so I could check up on her and be able to move the camera around to see who she was rooming next to.The size of the pen looked very spacious and nicely set up with blankets. I would very much recommend Whisker Wise for any of your pocket pets and will definitely be using them again in the future!
I love Whisker Wise Animal Care & Boarding! Lori is absolutely wonderful and takes such good care of my rabbit. I never have to worry about him when I go out of town. She gives him the attention he needs and gives me updates on how he is doing. The setup she provides for rabbits is really nice and big. I used to board my bunny with my veterinarian, but I much prefer Whisker Wise. I have no reason to ever go to another boarder again!
Lori takes amazing care with the animals she watches. I was anxious to leave my newly adopted bunny for a week, but when I came back my sweet Maggie was even tamer than before! She has an amazing set up for bunnies (super cool modified room!) with toys and boxes and even little sitting pads for the bunns. She's super flexible about pick up and drop off and is very kind! She is awesome! Definitely recommend.
Fantastic experience! Our senior bunny was well cared for during the 10 days we were out of town, and I loved being able to check on her via webcam. We will definitely be booking again the next time we go on a trip!
Having recently moved to the area, we were a little nervous with finding a new place to have our rabbits stay while we were out of town. Lori was great to talk to and put me at ease- additionally having a camera where we could view our buns to check in on them was a huge plus as well! Windy and her team helped us with our puppy for the entire first year. They started off walking her twice a day and then to once a day. They update you with heart melting pictures so I could show them off to my colleagues. They carried over all the leash training and immediately notified us if anything seemed odd. We couldn't have done the first year without them. And our puppy loved every minute of it. I definitely recommend their services.
I was very anxious about going on a planned vacation due to my 18 year old cat who is on many meds when my neighbor recommended Windy. Windy was so calm and asked just the right questions when I met her that I felt a huge sense of relief. During my vacation she regularly sent updates and photos and did such a great job with both of my cats. I highly recommend her company!

Windy is extremely professional and reliable, and has assisted our two dogs with walks for several years now. She has adapted to our changing circumstances, and welcomes new challenges with understanding and kindness. The owner, who provided my cat care each and every time, understood that my cat needed time to adjust before she would be comfortable around her, and did so with great patience. Due to her careful efforts, my cat grew to enjoy her company, and was always well adjusted and healthy when I returned from trips. She even noticed when my cat had an unexpected health issue while I was away, and worked with me early and late in the day to provide her with care that resolved the issue almost immediately. I received regular photo text message updates on how my cat was doing at home while I traveled, and I always came home to a friendly note about my cat's time while I was away. She went above and beyond to help me in a pinch, and was always helpful and courteous. She has excellent attention to detail, and a strong understanding of cat behavior and needs. I could not recommend BellyRub Pet Services higher, and am very grateful for the care they provide.
BellyRub is wonderful!!! Windy was more than helpful when we moved to Portland. Our sitter was very friendly and very informative. She sent pictures every visit. I felt very good about the service they were providing. My cat handled our leaving for vacation (right after we moved) wonderfully because our sitter treated him so well. I HIGHLY recommend them.
Windy at BellyRub has been tending to my dogs since September 2013, when I brought home an eight week old Lab puppy brother to my three year old Lab. She has been great to work with, following direction well, and being flexible when needed. If I need an extra visit or decide to cancel because I'm working from home, I always receive a "no problem!". She goes above and beyond, noticing when something is off and asking me about it then fixing it if needed. She also checks on my ducks and chickens to make sure they have access to water if it's cold or hot outside. I know my dogs really enjoy having her!
Windy with Bellyrub Pet Services is the best, hands down. I have a 150 lb puppy that can be a handful, and he means the world to me. Windy is the only other person I trust to care for him. She is pleasant, flexible, dependable, and highly professional. No matter what my pup throws at Windy, she knows exactly what to do and always keeps me in the loop. I only wish everybody could be as good at what they do as Windy is. She is a true professional.
Windy took care of my girls quite a bit over the past couple years, and they loved her. Be it when I was out of town for several days straight, or stopping in a couple days a week when I had long days at work, I loved knowing that my girls would be well taken care of and that they looked forward to their visits with Windy. I am sad that we recently moved to deep SE Portland and are out of the BellyRub service area, but you can bet that if we move back to North Portland Windy will be one of the first people I contact!
When I adopted two small terriers from a rescue organization I knew I was going to need someone special to help me with their care. After contacts with several pet services in the area I chose to go with Windy at BellyRub because of her professionalism. She immediately understood the issues associated with rescue animals and displayed patience and kindness towards Wilbur and Daisy. She also was able to set limits on their impulsive and somewhat unpredictable behaviors, helping them to be come more confident and well behaved. In addition when Windy comes to the house she always checks things over such as their water and toys, as well as a time or two has cleaned up after an accident. I have grown to depend on BellyRub to take excellent care of my pups and they show nothing but love and excitement when she comes to the house. Lindsay and Matt are THE BEST! I brought my young dog there, 9 mos., and they took such great care of her. Matt took his time to answer all of my questions to assure me that she would be fine with them. From the lighting in the kennels to mirror the time of day at home to quiet time so the dogs could nap peacefully. One of them was always outside with the dogs to monitor them and be sure the "pack" got along ;)They would only let dogs that they felt were a good fit play together on the property. They also took into consideration how young my dog was and took extra care with her because of her age.They were on it! Since I haven't boarded her before I was nervous to leave her. No worries there. Lindsay kept in touch with me with texting and sending pictures. I will definitely take her there again and am so happy and LUCKY that I found them! Pogba and Benzema love Woof and Tumble! I have taken my boys here several times and am always thrilled with the experience. I never have to worry because I know how well they are being taken care of. The facility is very well maintained and put together. I swear my dogs sleep for days when they get home because they had so much fun. I would highly recommend Woof and Tumble. If I could give them more than 5 stars I absolutely would. I love that I occasionally get pictures of the dogs having fun while they are there as well.

This is a very safe, very focused dog boarding facility. If you are a first time boarder, there will be a trial, one night boarding to test if your dog is OK there. The owners do not charge for this night. The reasoning is solid. This insures your dog will be familiar with the environment when the boarding date arrives as well as testing the dog's amenability to the facility. It works! Both Matt and Lindsay are very hands on with dog care. Small and large dogs are managed in like groups. They pay attention to behavior and place dog well-being front and center. I have 2 mini poodles who were well cared for and given attention when there. Minis are attention sponges and they understand the different breeds. Make your reservations early. There is a reason this facility is well booked, the owners really love what they do and it shows. They are devoted to their business.
I have a rescue havanese who has had huge stranger fear. He has been going to Woof and Tumble for 2 yrs. Corey just loves it there. Every time we board him he has become more and more social. In fact, he loves playing with all the dogs, even the huge ones! His socialization has carried over in other places. Matt, one of the owners, has been great with Corey. Matt has trained police dogs so this 20 lb cutie is no challenge to him. Whenever we take him there, as we approach the property Corey starts waging happily and greeting the dogs with his talking bark. We have never worried leaving him at Wood and Tumble. It is a dog haven with lots to outdoor kiddie park toys and pools. Corey is just staying with family when he's boarded! Thank you guys! We love you.
This place is fantastic! I have two younger dogs who are used to playing with other dogs at the park and always get at least 1.5-2 hours of playtime daily. The thought of having them cooped up in a kennel while I was away playing was stressful and sad. I have known Matt for years and think very highly of him. I recently met Lindsey and she’s just as awesome! I was so excited when I found out about their place and brought the pups there. It’s an amazing facility and they simply love dogs! My pups loved it and I got regular updates and photos while I was away. Now I don’t have to feel guilty and can relax when it’s vacation time. I know they’re having fun and being well cared for here. I highly recommend this place.

It is just a great place to take you dog(s) if you need to be away in circumstances that don’t allow you best 🐾♥️🐾 to travel with you. Lindsey and Matt’s pricing is reasonable and I leave my dog always knowing that he is in good, capable and very caring hands with people who love him and who he loves too. I have a black lab, who has been going to Woof & Tumble when I travel for work and can’t take him for the past several years. We didn’t know the former owner, but we are sure pleased that the Hanson Family has the business now. My lab squeals with glee every time we start driving up the canyon to go to W&T. My Boy loves Matt and Lindsey as much as he does me and I always know that he is in the best care available anywhere when he is with them. I always know too when I pick him up that I have returned to a very happy well exercised boy who has gotten to run and play ball with his friends under the watchful and protective supervision of care givers I can completely trust without reservation. The kennel area is clean and climate controlled so the dogs are comfortable year round and the outdoor play areas are clean, well maintained and protected by a high storm fence. Woof & Tumble is a few miles up WRR, Hughs and Skye Roads, but the roads are well maintained and the boarding kennels are very easy to locate. Woof & Tumble is an incredible blessing to friendly dogs and the owners who love them throughout our area and my pup and I are really glad that Lindsey and Matt are a part of our busy lives 🐾💗🐾,
I am one of three chihuahuas that get to hang out at Woof and Tumble, aka "outdoor school," when our owners go away on a trip and don't need our supervision. We are well taken care of, whether it's exploring and chasing woodland creatures that come near our outside realm or getting attention and snuggles from the staff. The folks there make sure we get our meds, prepare our meals, and send our owners updates on how our vacation is going. While we don't provide any revenue to our household, or have any concept of economics, but we feel strongly this is a worthwhile investment into your dog's happiness.
So, so, so glad a friend recommended Woof and Tumble! My two pups (a 12yo geriatric dog and 7-month-old) were well taken care of - food, sleeping, love, safety, structure, AND socialization. We didn't worry one bit while we were away because it was easy to see that owners Matt and Lindsay really understand and care about dogs. My two had a great time at "camp" over the holidays and are tuckered out after all the fun. 5 stars for sure ... I'd give them 6 if I could!
We've had such a great experience boarding our Doberman with Woof and Tumble. She's stayed with them several times now and always comes home happy, tired, and dirty from playing with new friends. With a free trial over night before leaving our dog with them, we felt confident that Matt and Lindsey are not only professional but were impressed that they were willing to take the time needed to make sure our dog would assimilate to their environment. One thing we really love is that the dogs are never left alone when playing together. We've driven up several times during play time, and as promised, someone (often the whole family) is outside supervising the dogs. Other boarding facilities in the area (Running Pond Acres comes to mind) leave groups of dogs unsupervised, sometimes for hours at a time, in an area they won't show owners for "insurance reasons", which is not an environment we would ever want to leave our dog in. The Woof and Tumble team is also super proactive in communication. During one stay, our pup strained her back leg and we were notified as soon as it was discovered, and then received updates after each subsequent play outing she went on. She ended up being totally fine, but we felt good knowing that they were paying attention to her enough to notice a slight limp, and then to reach out to let us know. Our only complaint is that Woof and Tumble is so popular! We're not great at getting our reservation booked well in advance and have missed chances to have our pup stay with them when they've been booked full. We love them so much that we try to convince our friends in Portland and Beaverton to bring their dogs here even though it's so far from them! We don't think there's a better facility around.

Most of the employees are nice and love my dog but the manager is extremely rude.Several times the staff gave us various times for drop off and, after calling to make sure, an employee said I had a window in which to drop off my dog. Upon arrival the next day the manager told me "this was not what was communicated to you" - basically calling my husband and I liars, wouldn't take my dog for the day (because I was 13 minutes late, although within the window I was given the previous day), and said she was doing us a favor by "accommodating" our dog.I acknowledged that I had missed the cut-off time, and understood she couldn't accept him that day, but disagreed with her about what had "been communicated to me." If she and her staff had made it clear that I must arrive by 10 am, then obviously I would have done so and not at 10:13.I am not unreasonable nor am I stupid.I can tell time and I don't expect special treatment.I said I'd like to talk to the owner and asked for their name, so I would know who I would be talking to, and she said she was "unable to disclose that information."And then she said she was finished arguing with me and walked away.Who treats customers like that?The owner of the business is a secret?We spend thousand of dollars a year here in day care and boarding.I deserve to be treated respectfully, have my questions answered and receive clear, consistent communication.I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and do do not recommend this place, solely on the consistently appalling treatment we, as paying customers, have received from this manager.I will not be so indiscreet as to name her but the owners need to know she is driving customers away.
We have nothing but praise for Mountain View Play and Stay. We use them both for boarding and daycare/socialization. The staff members go above and beyond to help our (sometimes quite nervous) dog have good experiences. The regular, controlled socialization has made a very positive difference in our dog's demeanor and sense of well-being around other dogs. We also appreciate the thorough screening procedure, the attention to detail regarding health records, and the friendliness of the staff towards us humans us well. 5-star for sure!
My little miss marigold loves her daycare days here. I also appreciate the occasional pictures they take since they don't have live cams to watch your pup playing.
My dog loved his stay - they sent pictures of him on the second or third day showing him playing outside. His tail was up and he was racing around. So glad we found a new home away from home for our beloved little chihwienie.
Staff is very kind and interested in the comfortability of your dog. Prices are very competitive for their boarding service and it's veterinarian owned. If anything is to happen the vet clinic is right next door! Will never be using Rover again.
These folks are one of a kind! If you want a safe, fun, loving and comfortable home away from home for your puppies this is where they belong. All the staff were so pleasant to work with, reasonable, and particularly accommodating to all our pups needs. We had an extended boarding need due to the emergency situation at our home. We were temporarily displaced as a result and it was stressful for everyone except for our dogs thanks to Mountain View. Savannah and Autumn were particularly amazing members of the staff! Olive and Smokey forever love you guys!
Love, love, love this place! Pam and her staff are wonderful, patient, kind and loving with our dog, Mac. He gets so excited that his whole body shakes when we ask him if he wants to go see "friends". He knows that means going to Mountain View Play and Stay for a day of fun or for boarding. The staff works hard to assess each dog's personality and compatibility to ensure that all the dogs have constructive and positive interactions with the other dogs. We also appreciate that they have been keenly observant and have pointed out some minor health issues with our dog that may have gone unnoticed by us. We really can't say enough good things about this place. My husband and I highly recommend them.
I have been taking my dog to Mt. View Play and Stay since he was 4 months and he is now 2 years old. The staff take an keen interest in the dogs and how they interact with each other. I can just call the same day and ask if there is room and they say “bring him in”. They have adapted well to the coronavirus and now come to the car to pick him up. Staff members are positive and definitely love dogs. My dog loves going to doggie daycare!!
Mt View has extremely compassionate, well trained people who happen to love dogs. My dog nearly jumps out the car window when we pull into the driveway. The staff are very transparent and excel at communication with the owner. They are fantastic!

I have a dog aggressive dog (she is great with people, but unfortunately not other dogs), and this facility takes the best care of her. In 2023 I called around all dog boarding locations in the Portland and Vancouver area, and none would accept her or the few that did wanted $100+ / day. Every time I drop her off, they are so excited tonsee her and it makes me feel so good, and that shes in the right place. Anyone with an aggressive dog or reactive dog knows how important this is. Incredibly thankful to have found this place. You can trust your dog is safe here and loved.

This was the first time boarding my babies. They go everywhere with me and my husband. I was nervous when we dropped them off. We picked up our babies after 5 days and everything was great! They feed the girls their special breakfast and dinner, daily walks and I paid for extra playtime for them. The staff was very friendly and great when we dropped off and picked up. I will definitely be using them again.
I cannot say enough good things about these wonderful people. This is the only place I will board my very nervous cattle dog. The facility is great, but more importantly the staff have always been amazing for my dog.
This is a great place! They treat my sweet dachshund Bandit very well and seem to be very loving towards him, he usually doesn’t like to be picked up by strangers but doesn’t mind the ladies here holding him, he gets the prince treatment every time and if it wasn’t for them we would have had to cancel our month long cruise in October, I give them a call every time we drop him off to check on him and they are always very nice on the phone I have lots of trust in them and I even found out there is a live in vet teach; gives me so much peace of mind. This is a great place for anyone who loves their pet. Truly an awesome staff!!!
I do not have any complaints about this kennel. My dogs are always happy to see me when I return. They appear to have been well taken care of. I really like that they kennel my 2 small dogs together and let my two large dogs play together. They don't allow customers in the dog kennel (a good thing!!!) So I can't say much more. My dogs do come back sick most of the time but that is fairly normal in a animal sheltering type of environment. I will definitely be using their services again.

We’ve used Montage many times when we can’t take our pooch with us on trips. The staff are all super friendly and seem to really care about the well-being of your pet. The kennels are all clean and seem to be well maintained and the outside dog runs are in good order. I love that you can get extra play time for your dog beyond the regular amount of time they get; that’s a nice option. You can even have the staff take your dog for a walk around the property (we don’t as our guy isn’t the best walker, so we pay for extra dog run time). We’ve tried other places and Montage beats them all paws down. Five tail wags (or stars).
Ive never had an experience that made me uncomfortable having Luci there. Always really nice and she always has a big smile when i pick her up. Worth me driving from Portland for.

I took my 1.5 year old husky/German shepherd here for a overnight . Everything from the meet and great, to the drop off and pickup was extraordinary. My dog was able to run and play with other dogs and not be cooped up in a kennel all day. It was great to have the peace of mind knowing our dog was in good hands . This is the only place we will board our dog moving forward .
I dropped off my two dogs for a day care trial ( a Rottie and a frenchie) at this place thinking that they would take good care of my dogs and hoping that my dogs would have good experience because the owner convinced us that they would be given the care they needed, i warned the owner that my frenchie is easily overheated. Instead my Frenchie was literally dying when we picked her up. She was over heated so bad that her tongue was turning blue, she was whizzing, she couldn't breathe, she could barely walk to greet us. She puked multiple times as soon as i put her in the car!! I asked the owner what happened to her, he asked me back 'I don't know , you tell me what happened to her?'. What The Hell????!!! She was there all day long with him!!! Any idiot can tell my dog was dying!!! I asked him stuff he kept saying he doesn't know. Turned out i figured out that they just abandoned my dogs out in their field without a place to cool down all they long. No one checked on them. If i came 5-10 minutes late to pick them up my Frenchie would have been dead. I thought i lost my baby that day. It was so terrible. Both of my dogs are traumatized in this place. My Rottie ran up to us and jumped straight in the car. Not even a single looked back at the guy. He was so miserable in this place. I could tell. The whole time i was panicking trying to save my Frenchie there was no single apology from the owner instead he was playing dumb/ underestimated the condition of my Frenchie. It was a very traumatizing experience. So much for a good day care experience. More like pay me for abandoning your dogs in my field. Update to my review. The next day my Rotty is sick he has super messy poop and is lethargic. I can only imagine what my dogs been through in this daycare. This place is a nightmare.
I met with the owner in person for an hour and a 1/2 to 2 hours discussing the boarding of my puppy, which ultimately resulted in a "no-go" for my pup--Waffles, a puppy under a year. The discussion was authentic, professional, insightful, and personal. The time and energy spent was heartfelt and very much appreciated. I will see you in a few years!
I left my 2 dogs here (Ellie and Miss Doggy Parton) while I went away for 8 days and cannot recommend it enough! We looked at places in Portland, but did not feel comfortable leaving them at the boarding places we checked out due to lack of comfort on not only our end but our dogs. Finding Bark Run Play seriously left us feeling so comforted knowing our dogs were in good hands! Kerry & Brian are not only kind, but amazing with dogs. One of our dogs is stand off-ish with people and was living on them when we returned back. They even sent us cute photos with a quick update while we were away. The dogs aren’t locked up in crates or stuck in a building all day - they get to run around outside and have a doggy vacation while you’re on yours. I feel like I won the game for my two dogs. I almost felt like they didn't want to come home. It is so refreshing to know that your dogs are having a blast, well taken care of and under supervision of experts in dog behavior while in Kerry and Brian's care. Scheduling was easy, paperwork was thorough and service beyond any expectation I had. Watching my two keep going over to Brian at pick up for pats and kisses rather then charging to get out the door says it all. Charlie and Banjo can't wait to return.
We left our dogs there for 4 days while we flew out of state, and as far as I can tell our dogs had a good time. Before we boarded them, we had to take our dogs to the meet and greet, where we met one of the owners who was very nice and she kinda told us how they run things and showed us where the dogs will be staying. Then when we dropped the dogs off a week or so later we met the other owner, and he was super nice too. They both know a lot about dogs and know how to handle different kinds of breeds and different dogs needs. They even texted us pictures of our dogs during their stay to let us know how they were. All in all, including the low price, the whole thing was excellent and I will definitely come back if I need to board my dogs again.
Brian and Kerry took excellent care of our 11 month old lab. He got to run and play so much during his weekend stay that he slept all day when he got home! They were really good about keeping us updated with text messages and photos of our boy while we were gone, which helped us relax and enjoy our weekend. We will definitely use them again, and would highly recommend them!
We trusted our dogs to the Happy Pet and we could not be more satisfied. One of our dogs, Maggie, is truly a special-needs dog, being very shy and insecure around strangers. We've tried everything, but she just needs a lot of time to warm up to strangers. One reason we chose this place is because we wanted to shake up Maggie's routine some, and give her exposure to strangers. The owners of the Happy Pet worked with her every day, investing their time and energy to make her feel safe and secure; and in one week had her comfortable and happy. Even visitors to our house take longer for her to get comfortable. The owners checked in several times while we were away to let us know how the dogs were and sent us pictures of them having fun playing in their open fields. The kennel is a bit out of the way, but that's part of the magic. They are out in the country and have large open runs for the dogs. While we expected muddy messes, when we picked up the dogs they were both clean and very happy. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
