Bo loves In The Dog House! The team lead by Hannah are wonderful and really care about each pup that goes there. Bo has grown so much socially since he started there, along with a few of his friends too. I can’t say how much I trust the team (Hannah, Emma, Abby, Ella, Maggie, Autumn, Max and all the rest) with my baby boy. They do special activities for the dogs on holidays or to shake up from the norm and I really love the paw paintings and photo shoots. Really thankful to find such a great place and awesome team for Bo to spend his days with!!

I cannot recommend In The Dog House enough. Their flexibility, willingness to accommodate, customer service, and overall treatment of their clients (both human and K9) is like no other. After having several negative experiences with daycares and boarding spots around the Charleston area, I finally found In The Dog House and have been taking my great dane there ever since. Every time we get close, my boy starts shaking the car in excitement! He barks at me to let him out and does circles around my back seat (which is pretty impressive considering he is 160lbs in an SUV). When we walk in we’re always greeted with smiles and cheers from the staff, and he sprints over to the gate to say hello! I am chopped liver at that point - he couldn’t care less that I am leaving. This past stay, there was an incident where another dog bit my boy. The staff at In The Dog House contacted me IMMEDIATELY. Even though I was on a flight, they still called and texted me to inform me of the issue. They told me they didn’t want to ruin my trip, and that they will take good care of him. They treated Zeus like he was their own, because in some ways he is! It was so reassuring to know that I did not have to worry about my boy while I was on my trip. I was provided updates several times a day with pictures and all the information I could want/need. They never made me feel like I was an inconvenience, and showed so much love to my boy. I will NEVER use another boarding place. 10/10 would recommend

Our dogs absolutely love going! Perfect place for all dog sizes and breeds, we have a little, medium and large dog. They all rush in at drop off and come back happy and tired each time. And should not forget to mention how friendly and helpful the staff is. Highly recommend!

Our dog Pinckney is always so excited to visit the DogHouse. He starts to get excited as soon as we pack his travel bag. By the time we make the last turn on the road headed to the doghouse, he starts whimpering and wiggling with excitement. We pull in to a parking spot and he begins parking and is ready to go. Typically drags me all the way to the front door. Then we are always greeted by smiling faces that are happy to see him and know him by name. So thankful to find a place that our dog looks forward to going to when we need him to have a second home for a bit!!

We left Otis for 13 days. I received reports every other day. The staff was very attentive, kind, and super competent.

New ownership is terrible! Rude, inexperienced, and does NOT put the dog or client first. STACI IS AN AWFUL GROOMER - GO ELSEWHERE. My dog has been scratched and had splintered nails from her nail trims. The facility is also not very clean… Been a customer for almost 3 years. They left my dog off Christmas photos the first year and I was charged for it, 2 grooming mistakes my second year and was double charged for grooming once bc they gave her 2 FULL grooms in 2 weeks bc the front desk staff wasn’t paying attention and thought I said groom instead of “bath.” My dog labradoodle mix had a buzz cut after the full double grooms. When I brought this to Hannah, the new owner’s attention…she was argumentative and reluctant to refund me for the 2nd full groom that they mistakenly gave my dog. It was like arguing with a teenager. So unprofessional! Their vaccine verification policy also keeps changing (1st yr they can verify with vet, 2nd year you forward them vaccine invoice, 3rd year you apparently have to forward them detailed expiration date information that usually doesn’t show up on an invoice). i guess sending them proof of a Bord vac invoice 3 days ago with date, name, and vaccine on there isn’t proof enough. I was almost late for a work meeting bc of this change in policy as they would not allow my dog in even though I’ve been there for 3 yrs and I sent them an invoice of a bord vac from a few days ago and told them I would get them detailed info once the vet got back to me.

I can’t recommend In The Dog House enough. Not only is it a great place with great staff, but the prices and deals they offer really make it worth it if you need a place for your dog while you are working. They were not only very helpful with me, but they really helped my puppy adjust to being there. They have a temperament test for all dogs so you don’t have much to worry about other aggressive dogs being there. They also do cool seasonal things for your dog you can sign them up for. Yesterday, they had some Halloween themed activity. Finally, one of the biggest things for me choosing In The Dog House over other places in the area is that they don’t force you to get your dog neutered at 6 or 7 months. My puppy is a larger dog breed and vets told me it isn’t healthy for him to be neutered until a year old without potential health complications. With In The Dog House they didn’t force me to choose between daycare or the health of my puppy.

Staff is friendly and professional, you can tell they love their job and they love the dogs! The process are comparatively cheaper than other dog boarders/day cares in the area. If they have availability they're very accommodating to walk-ins or last minute boarding. The Facebook page showing all the dogs playing is just so cute, and such peace of mind. My dog loves it here, can't recommend it enough!

In the dog house is amazing! Was a very worried mom when dropping my puppy off for day care the first time but they made me feel very comfortable leaving her there. She had so much fun and was exhausted when I picked her up! So glad she can boost her confidence and socialize. Y'all are great!!

We came here for grooming when we heard our favorite groomer, Staci, moved here. Staci is seriously incredible at grooming our Goldendoodle!! We’ve never been disappointed with her work. She really is the Doodle-Whisperer 😄 …

Mallory and Chris came highly recommended to us through our neighbors. Every step of the way, they have been extremely professional, communicative, and so loving to our golden retriever pup! Leaving your pup for the weekend can feel scary, but I was able to relax knowing he was in such great hands. He had so much exercise on his walks and the picture updates were awesome. We appreciate this recommendation and now will highly recommend Friends Furever to all of our Charleston pet owner friends as well.

BEST DOG DAYCARE/BOARDING/GROOMING in the area!! When I first moved to the Charleston area (now residing in Huger) a couple years ago, I was having a hard time finding a doggy daycare that I really liked. Some places didn't have any grass/turf to play on, some just seemed like a cold warehouse and others just didn't have a friendly staff like I was used to in Charlotte. I was really excited to hear that a new doggy daycare facility was opening up and scheduled my dogs for their temperament test yesterday. The facility is clean and inviting and the staff could not have been friendlier. The pictures they post of the dogs at play on Facebook are amazing and you can tell both the dogs and the workers are having fun! The online portal is great as well. You can schedule everything online and fill out paperwork electronically, super easy! The groomer, Alicia is also amazing! She is very knowledgeable in dog grooming and has such a love for dogs. My girls always look fantastic after seeing her.. If in the area definitely check them out! =)

Our dog Magnolia Mae loves going to The Island PawPlex. She jumps out of the car to see her pals and comes home exhausted. Tristan and the team make her feel loved and that makes us feel good. Great job!

Took Our Blaze boy for his first visit. Was a little nervous however he was the happiest dog when we picked him up. Had alot of attention for sure. He was worn out with all the attention and meeting new dogs. Staff is friendly and reassuring.

The team is very attentive during check in, check out and when I call. It is cute and clean. My older dog runs right in and the puppy is adjusting as I would hope. Sure do appreciate the team at Island Pawplex!

We absolutely love Island Pawplex! Our Penny girl has been going for the last 6 months! I trust Tristan and her staff completely with Penny’s health and safety! If you’re considering Island Pawplex you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been using the services for over eight years in addition to a facility that is closer to home. Not always easy to get space but if I book early enough, I haven’t had any problems. I did a tour when I first started taking my little guy here. Looks and smells clean on the inside. Conveniently located off of the main road – Clements ferry. Close to the highway so easy getting in and out. The staff is always pleasant and welcoming. The facilities are really nice for indoor /outdoor play. They use an online system. It can be used to upload, records, make reservations and pay the bill. Not the cheapest in the area but I have tried a lot of kennel facilities in the area and I am a true believer that you get what you pay for.

The Island Pawplex did and continues to do an amazing job with our dog. They communicate and make the process very easy. Would recommend them to anyone looking for daycare or boarding.

My dog needed a restart. This is how he was given back to me. The owner will probably publicly post my signed paper work and tell you that I asked for a beard. I did not. My dog has had to have a restart before. He was never returned to me this way. They laughed at me when I was upset. They called me a neglectful dog parent on their Facebook page. They are awful. Save yourself the trouble. They are nice as can be as long as you are happy. If you are upset just know they will publicly shame you on social media. I would also like to add that it’s absolutely ridiculous that I never received an apology. Not one I am sorry you do not like the cut. I am sorry we cut your dog. Nothing…. Just public shaming on the internet. I believe it says a lot about the company and ownership when you see a negative review and how they respond? This company, with the complaints I have come across put all the blame on the paying customer. They never seem to take any accountability for any issues. It’s an interesting pattern. I did curse at your reception and dog groomer. After they laughed me out of the building not before. Before I asked if the “groomer” was the owner. I was very confused why she would be allowed to have any contact with me in the first place after how upset I was the previous day. Yet another example of poor decision making by a “leader” of a company. I am sure that in the future you will be able to avoid issues such as this if you handle guest complaints yourself. Also, how about learn to apologize. A humble apology goes a long way. It certainly would have kept all of this from happening. Update!!! Found a new groomer! She is so nice and was shocked by what this place did to my Dog. She said there was no excuse for how they shaved his face. No matter if my Dog was matted or not. I have heard a lot of bad things about this place lately. Apparently the new groomer is not so great. You can decide that by looking at the first few pictures of my dog. My first post was 4 months ago. I have not gotten over it and I just want to continue to warn people to not go to this place!

I found the Island Pawplex and took Lola the yorkie in for a beauty appointment - and beauty she got! Best groom ever!! Then needed to quickly drop Lola off while our house was shown, Mark quickly made room for her. Great customer service!

We are so happy to have received a recommendation for The Island Pawplex. The staff are amazing; proactive, compassionate, caring and polite. And the facility is very clean. We always receive a quick verbal rundown on how our pup’s day has been. Today she had a slight injury to her Dew claw. It was dealt with quickly and professionally. We have no hesitation in recommending The Island Pawplex!

Harley & Brewer had a great time!! We are from out of town and brought our dogs down while staying in Charleston. Bow Wow allowed us to do the 3 hour interview on the day of arrival. We loved being able to watch the boys interact and really liked the human interaction with the dogs for much of the day. They even bathed the boys and they were soft/fresh for our long drive home. A HUGE plus! Our Harley can be nervous but he was in great spirits and happy, which speaks volumes!

Archer loves going to Camp Bow Wow! We actually no longer can say the word "Camp" in our house unless we are planning on taking him for the day. He waits by the door and by his leash and actually drags us to the door when we arrive. The location is super convenient and the staff are all amazing and good to our pup. Always a great experience and always wonderful interactions.

During our recent trip to Charleston, SC, we left our dog Finn at Camp Bow Wow and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff was incredibly accommodating to our changing schedule and provided excellent customer service. Finn had an amazing time, enjoying plenty of playtime and socialization in a well-maintained, spacious facility. We especially loved the live cameras, which allowed us to check in on Finn and see how much fun he was having. Camp Bow Wow made our trip worry-free, and we highly recommend it to anyone traveling with their pet. Finn can’t wait to return!

Quick update (October 2024): Prices have increased dramatically. Watch out for the added fees if you stay past 11am. :( Original review (August 2023): We love Camp Bow Wow! Our fur babies have stayed for day visits and overnight retreats, and they always come home happy. :) The staff is also top notch. Would recommend Camp Bow Wow to anyone!

Traveling with a dog is fun and can be a challenge. My schedule changed where I could not keep Copper with me and did not want to leave him in the hotel. He had gone to a Camp Bow Wow in another state - I reached out to this location, they cloned his chart and had us set up in minutes! Place was very clean, staff was super nice and we will definitely be back!

Sadie is so happy to go to Camp Bow Wow! The staff is friendly and attentive. When she is boarded, Sadie is happy to be there and happy when we pick her up. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow.

I like to watch my dog on the Camper Cam. I like to see that she is safe and not stressing when I need to leave her alone for the day.

Dropped my dog off for an interview schedule from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Explained to front desk that my dog is highly anxious. He is a 6 year old Weimaraner. They explained it would be fine and they would work with him. Not 35 minutes we dropped him off we were called and told we needed to come pick him up due to his aggression towards other dogs. Nothing was explained. Front office then explained to me he just seemed to anxious. Long story short if your dog suffers from any anxiety don't even think about this place they will not even give them a chance. Will not be using this boarding facility or recommending it to anyone.

Good Morning, I took my baby, Milo in for a daycare visit on Sunday, April 28th, 2019. I dropped him off at 11:00am and picked him up at 5:15pm. The staff was not very friendly and showed lack of affection and care when taking my puppy away for me. The location closes at 11:30 and opens back up at 3:00. I watched Milo play at about 4 o'clock because when I went to view the cameras at 3 o'clock, they were not back on at the time. I had to call after 3:30 in order for the cameras to be turned back on. As I am watching my baby play with other dogs, I saw NO SUPERVISION whatsoever. I see my baby and another dog getting very aggressive and for a long time, I did not see anyone come. I was very upset and immediately left the wedding I was attending to pick him up. When I arrived, everyone acted like everything was fine. My mother and I both asked them how did Milo do and everyone had nothing but good things to say. Upon my arrival back home, I noticed that milo had these awful scratches on the front of his body. I was furious and called the Charleston location the next morning (April 29th). I spoke with the manager who contacted that people who worked the day of the visit. She said things did get a little aggressive between milo and another dog named Leo. She informed me that the staff did in fact separate Milo and Leo. I told the manager that we watched Milo and another dog who I now assume is Leo play rough for a long time. Milo is a 10 pound, 11 month old Morkie and Leo was at least a 25 pound fur baby of some sort. No one was watching them during the time I was watching the webcam. I also asked why wasn't I informed about this incident when I picked him up? This facility is short staffed and I know this because the assistant manager told me when I first called. If I would have known this visit would have turned out this way, I would have ever left him. It could have been 10x worse and my baby could have been seriously injured. The lack of staff, care and affection given to my dog was unacceptable. I take a chance when letting others watch my baby and I am disgusted with the results I have received.

Would not recommend since new ownership took over. Terrible customer service. Taking our business elsewhere. 👎 Adding to this review, now that the owner has responded: You did not communicate "the concern" to my wife, it was a voicemail on my phone. You did not add in your Response From Owner, that YOUR dog's behavior was equally unacceptable. I will also mention that our dog was soaking wet upon that pickup; which took 30 minutes. You also failed to share that you deactivated our account w/o communicating this to us. We found this out when we brought our dog in for a reservation we had. This RESERVED drop off was on our way out of town, and you in turn left us in an absolute bind to find alternative options. I won't go into the expenses to modify our trip for your lack of communication. Unacceptable! We have been customers of Camp Bow Bow for two of our dogs for over 10+ years...and have recommended your facility for years...no more!

The Dogstar team is absolutely amazing! We've had the pleasure of working with them over the last five years and can't tell you how comforting it is to have a team you can trust watch your pets. As our fur family has grown, Dogstar has been more than accommodating, even jumping in for emergency sitting arrangements or extended service. It's always stressful leaving town, but at least I know my pets are taken care of. We also get plenty of updates and pictures along the way. I can always tell how happy everyone is when we get home from all the attention. Would recommend through and through.

I used Dogstar for my very active lab/weimaraner mix and was so incredibly happy with the service! I scheduled a 30 minute run for Kodie to get her the exercise she needed beyond our normal walks. Dogstar sent great runners who were not only capable of handling an active dog but actually seemed to enjoy it! Kodie loved her running partners and was super excited every week when her favorite partners showed up. Would highly recommend for any needs. Exceptional customer service, very responsive to messages, and fantastic results!

From the initial meet and greet, we knew our 2 older cats were in good hands! The Dogstar team is professional, reliable and always reachable... they provide photos while you're away so you can feel more relaxed knowing they are taken care of. They will also take in your mail and water your plants... would highly recommend their services.

I am so thankful to have found Dogstar! Jiggy is the sweetest dog but has had some past leash issues and I really needed someone I could trust to understand his needs and my concerns. Brett and Nick go above and beyond to make sure Jiggy and I are both happy. They are always very responsive and accommodating to changes. Justin (Jiggy's regular walker) is awesome as well. Everyone is polite and friendly and I love the notes left to let me know how Jiggy did on his walk. Jiggy has been a happier and healthier dog since I found Dogstar - thank you for all you do ❤️

We always have a great experience with Dogstar! We use them for our two large dogs for walking/visits throughout the day when we are out of town since our dogs don't do well being boarded. They are very communicative and always send us an update at the end of the day on how they did. Always a great experience and our dogs are always very happy when we come home.

Great service. I was able to set everything up easily online, but when issues arose it was easy to contact a human quickly. They were very reliable, accommodating, and left a note every day of how my dog did. I happened to stop home one day when our dog walker came by, and my dog happily rushed over to her, so I know my dog enjoyed her time with them too.

I can't say enough about how amazing Dogstar has been for my dog Josie. My schedule is constantly changing, and I've found such relief in knowing that my dog will be taken care of when I'm not home. They are extremely responsive, reliable and (fortunately) very flexible and accommodating when I have a last minute request. Highly recommend!

Awesome experience with Watch Dog Pet Care! We went on vacation and boarded our 2 English Labs with Alyssa & Deno for 7-8 days. They keep you updated every step of the way. Send you TONS of photos. You could tell Moose & Bear enjoyed their time there and also loved playing with the other dogs. I cannot recommend them enough. If you’re considering using a boarder, or even a doggy day care, look no further than WDPC. No question- 5 stars.

We were comfortable with our choice, but anxious about the Puppy being in a new environment, not so much for our senior (Chihuahua). Went for the introduction and they were so calm with my boys and made me feel comfortable that they could handle their, uh, unique personalities, lol. We got picture updates our entire trip and our boys LOVED it. So much so, their Papa was a bit salty at the affection they were showing to them, lol. Overall, the BEST experience, best environment, and most importantly, best doggie daycare/boarding owners we've ever experienced! We love it here!

Watch Dog Pet Care has been the absolute best experience for us and our three dogs. All of our pups are rescues and have their own set of quirks and anxieties so finding somewhere to board them felt impossible, but Alissa and Deno were incredible. We received so many photos and updates that we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing they were in good hands. So grateful to have found these amazing people and would highly recommend them!

They are very kind people who clearly love dogs. My basset hound had so much fun staying with them! I love their turf backyard too. They send lots of photos and updates that put your mind at ease. I’ll definitely be using their doggie daycare and boarding services again! I highly recommend them!

I’ve been taking my pride & joy Tucker to them for a few years now. Tucker is my chocolate lab & truly my best friend. If you truly want peace & mind when you have to go away & leave your best friend there are no better people on the planet! They go above & beyond & always keep you updated morning & night. Tucker always looks so happy & now when I turn down their street he jumps up & starts wagging that tail. I recommend them every day of the week & twice on Sunday. They always work with you & your schedule. In my opinion this isn’t just a business to them. Their hearts are in this & they truly love theirs & our animals with all of their hearts!

Highly highly highly recommend!! We left our dog with Alissa and Deno for Christmas and it was the best experience! She updated us everyday with pictures and made sure to communicate how he was doing. They made us so comfortable knowing that he was with people who truly love animals and that he was well taken care of. I was nervous that our dog would be too reactive towards other dogs but she assured us that they ease into introductions and that they don’t force anything. But they made him feel comfortable and confident around the other dogs and he had a blast! I definitely recommend them for a sitter and will continue to use them for future pet sitting!

Thanks to Alissa and Deno, we can travel again! We adopted our big boy who is considered "giant" by some places and extra-large at others. We really wanted an at-home boarding experience for him, but couldn't find someone willing to take him since he's not only a big boy, but also has some trust issues with people. Alissa and Deno took the time to listen to our concerns, meet Zeke, and allow him to get to know them. WE ARE SO HAPPY! Zeke goes to daycare intermittently - it's so easy to book and communicate with them for appointments. We have several overnight boarding dates booked and leaving Zeke with someone is now the least of our worries when we plan travel. When he's at daycare, we get constant picture and text updates. He can be slow to warmup to people, but their professionalism and knowledge of dog behavior made this such an easy transition for us and for our boy. It makes my heart melt to see a picture of him leaning against Alissa - we love that he's comfortable begging for attention. I cannot say enough good things about Watch Dog Pet Care. We wouldn't trust our boy with anyone else!

Alissa and her husband were wonderful! I can not say enough great things about Watch Dog Pet Care LLC. It was a blessing that they had availabilty on such short notice especially after our usual kennel shutdown for deep cleaning. I loved getting the updates through text and photos of our girl, Lucy. She was living her best life playing while we were away for a couple of days. They are very caring (our dog had medications administered), very sweet and very professional. We will definitely be a repeat customer. I highly recommend.

My wife and I recently moved into the Charleston area and have needed some help with our dog during our long workdays. We found the folks at DogStar through a Google search and lucked out, they have been GREAT. The pricing is reasonable, the scheduling system is very easy to use and the owners Nick and Brett provide very personal customer service. Their walkers have never missed an appointment and have been able to accommodate some very last minute requests. The folks at DogStar even helped take care of our dog when we went into labor with our first child. Great folks, would highly recommend!

I'm so happy with DogStar's services! Brett and Nick are terrific. I tend to travel on a whim, and they've been able to handle all of my last minute requests. I always feel good about leaving my pets in their care. I especially love that I get frequent text message updates and pictures of my rabbit and cat while I'm gone; it's nice to see their furry faces :) I don't think there's another petsitting service out there that goes as above and beyond. The price is awesome, the service is awesome, and I can't say enough good things about DogStar!

These guys are great. Take care of everything (feeding, exercising, locking up, bringing in mail, lights, etc.) when on vacation. We have used them several times now, and have no complaints at all. Great people, great service, and our pet's favorite.

Just started using Paws Up. I have 2 cats. I was very pleased with the owner's attention to detail and she personally visited to gather all necessary information. She was very generous with her time and also shared her knowledge about healthy cat food options. The sitters were clearly above average because they were able to give my shy cat some hands-on attention which takes a patient and gentle person. No prior sitter has accomplished that. They provided written reports and photos after every visit. And they promptly replied to my posts. Everything was great when I returned home. Best of all, my cats looked happy and relaxed. They are like children to me so entrusting strangers into my home takes a leap of faith and a lot of intuition. But for more objective data, I was happy to hear that Kimberly does complete background checks and sitter training. So I felt it would be a good fit, and it was! I would recommend Paws Up to anyone!

Kimberly and her staff exceeded my expectations this past week!!!! I I’m not an easy fur baby mama to please, I can promise you that! She is truly a cat person and was awesome! Every day she sent me pictures of my kitty’s and a brief account of her visit. When I got home, everything was neat and cleaned up like she had just been here. I cannot say enough good things about her and her staff.😁😻🐈‍⬛ I was really worried about having a pet service come to my home. When I met her, I knew that I would not have to worry. I will never have anxiety again over someone taking care of my fur babies. Thank you and I will spread the word about Paws up around with anybody I know that might need help with their babies. Kimberly and Allison have been providing us with mid-day breaks for our boxer puppy while we work since he was 2 months old (total of 7 months now)! I truly believe that he looks forward to their visits. I love getting the updates after each visit; which includes some awesome pictures. They are always on time as well. Our boy has anxiety/sensitivity to loud sounds so if he gets spooked, they know what to do. We don't have to worry about it and that brings us peace of mind. Big thanks to both Kim and Allison for taking care of our fur baby like he was your own!

PawsUp! Did an amazing job with our three cats. The cats just loved them, nobody hid from them. We got great photos and updates with every visit. When we came home the cats we calm with no signs of distress. And that made our vacation even more wonderful.

Kimberly took amazing care of our senior pup Brutus during our wedding day! We were able to include Brutus in moments like photos and cocktail hour, which was so precious, then he was able to duck out and relax. This was important to us, since we wanted to include our dog in aspects of our wedding day without him getting overwhelmed. Kimberly took care of everything Brutus needed during the day, from walks to medicine to putting on his bow tie! Weddings can be so busy and knowing our dog was being taken care of helped us stay present in the moment to enjoy the festivities.

I've been meaning to provide a review for a while. Toby and I absolutely love the members of Paws Up!! They're friendly, knowledgeable, and can be depended on providing excellent care when you need it. We appreciate them very much. It can be hard trusting someone else to care for your pets but not with Kim and her wonderful team ❤️

The entire Paws Up Team was wonderful with our pets and provided detailed reports while we were out of town. We arrived back home to happy animals! I also found the communication mobile app was easy to use.

This app makes communicating with my pet sitter so easy!!! It has direct messaging and private messaging functions, request functions, invoices, and payment methods all in one. The amount of information I can make available to my pet sitter is amazing! From extra instructions for mail or lights to the location of backup food or cleaning supplies, there's a place to put it! The way this app is set up makes me feel confident in my pet sitter because of how I can share information and they can too! They send a report of how the pets were during the visit, who ate all their food, who went potty, who had playtime, and pretty much anything else you can think of.

So easy to talk to and we’re right on time! They were so great to our girls and definitely provided me with peace of mind while away at work - they left lots of pictures each day and it was no issue getting in touch with them!

The petsitting team are always dependable. They send daily updates for each visit with pictures, which we look forward to when on travel. It’s like an email from our pets. 🥰 They also bring in the mail, water plants, etc. The sitters are very responsive to any new instructions, too. May be a little more expensive than the neighbor kid, but we feel very confident & relaxed, knowing that everything is well-taken care of & any contingencies considered. We highly recommend.

Arden’s Barking Buddies AKA Jerilynn was AMAZING!! From coming to meet the pups to picking them up day 1 and bringing them home when we returned. The gift bags were such a great added touch and our pups returned to us being loved and taken care of. We highly recommend Arden's Barking Buddies! We hired her for drop-in visits while away for the weekend. She went above and beyond for our 2 dogs, spending time with them, keeping us informed of how they were doing, even vacuuming their living area. All for a very reasonable price! Such a peace of mind knowing Cookie and Lacey were in good hands.

Omg I don't know what I would do without Arden's Barking Buddies! She definitely came thru when I needed her. This is my 3rd time using her. Words can’t explain how great a find Arden’s Barking Buddies has been. I have taken my Australian Shepard, Carson, to Jerilyn for over two years now. He gets so excited when he sees her that I have to make sure he is securely in the harness as he’s been known to jump out the window to give her kisses. Most recently I dropped Carson off while I went away for 16 days to hawaii. There’s no one else I would trust with my pup for that long. I never once had to stress about him because I knew he was probably having more fun then even I was. Jerilyn is AMAZING and sent numerous pictures of their field trips all over town. I’m constantly recommending her to everyone I know

We have had wonderful experiences with ABB. Jerilyn is absolutely fantastic and treats our sweet girl like her own. We appreciate all of the photos she sends us while we're away; Olive Jane always looks happy and healthy. Knowing that our family has someone that we can trust to take care of our girl while we are gone is such a good feeling. It's so hard to be away from your pets. The pickup and drop off process is so simple and makes for an easy transition for both pet and owner. There are no words positive enough for Arden’s Barking Buddies. When I called Jerilyn for a family emergency she was there within the hour to pick up my fur baby, Zephyr. I had no idea how long it would be until she could come back and not only did Jerilyn tell me not to worry about that but I was also at complete ease because I knew it was true and Z was taken care of. We have been beyond lucky to be clients of ABB for over five years and I will never leave Z with anyone else. Jerilyn always goes above and beyond and has become family.

Jerilyn took care of my dog Ollie for 16 days while I was in hawaii. I thought my vacation was wonderful, but I’m pretty sure my dog had the best vacation! He went on three field trips, multiple walks, and had fun in the kiddie pool. She even sent wonderful pictures of him during his trips!! I never worried about my dog for a second! It was such a relief just knowing he was in good hands!! I have no doubt that I’ll be taking ollie to hang out at Arden’s barking buddies for all my vacations!! I recommend Arden’s barking buddies to everyone and anyone!!

I had a wonderful experience with Arden’s Barking Buddies. Ms. Jerrilyn was fantastic and took great care of my baby boy. She made me feel at ease and sent lots of pictures to update me about my pup while I was out of town. I would absolutely use their services again and I’ve already recommended them to a friend.

My business has made numerous referrals to this Daycare and Boarding establishment . I was very excited to take my dogs, but at no time was I informed that there would be an $80 charge for an evaluation for my two puppies. In my opinion that’s called bait and switch …..,,they bring you in for an evaluation that they require you to have, which I totally understand and believe is necessary. Although, I feel transparency is necessary prior to your first visit. I would Venture to say I would bring my dogs here even though it’s an hour drive each way. I felt their safety and their environment was great, but I feel that the upfront first impression was very misleading, in charging me $80 for an evaluation that they require. I value the fact that they need to evaluate the dog, but I feel in order to establish a trusting relationship, there should be something you sign up front, making you aware of the price or be a little more reasonable about the evaluation fee like 20 or $25. Again that should be stated upfront not thrown ist you when you’re checking out. As a former TV Investigative producer, this is something I would call a red flag, but hopefully my review would help them to be a little more transparent to new customers from the get go. even a suggestion of if they’re going to charge you $80 for two small dogs to be evaluated over a period of two or three hours, I would say give them a coupon for their first visit to give them a discount of whatever you paid for the evaluation. that would be more palatable. I just didn’t like never having been told that there was any fee involved and they made it sound like we just need them to come in so that we can evaluate them and make sure they’re a good fit for boarding or for daycare. That’s all I was told and that’s where I have the problem that I got stuck with an $80 fee that I never even knew was in the equation. They have beautiful facilities. The staff seems very nice, but I would’ve handled my customer a little differently. In the fact the evaluation fee was never disclosed.

So kind and helpful! Daily updates on Coopers stay. Such nice things to say about him. Gave him a bath just before pickup so he was very handsome!

We absolutely love this beautiful place and more importantly, the owners and staff. We utilize large dog daycare weekly and boarding when we travel. Our experience has been nothing short of stellar. We trust them with our precious dog and appreciate the love and compassionate care they provide. They are the best in Charleston and came highly recommended from a local owner of a pet store who we know personally and value her opinion. We adore K9 and highly recommend them! Shout out to Angel, who has developed a special relationship with our dog ♥️ Bonus points for the amazing saltwater tank in the lobby.

This was the first week long stay for our poodles Ivy and Pepper. We are VERY pleased with the staff and overall experience that the dogs had. The staff were friendly and updated us daily with photos and/or report cards. We could tell that the various staff members we interacted with knew our dogs well. Their comments were very supportive and caring. We were nervous about leaving our dogs for the week but quickly felt secure that they were in excellent hands. Thank you.

We love K9 Resorts. My dogs have been clients for years. It is a beautiful, clean, welcoming day care and boarding facility. The owners and staff truly love all dogs and it is evident throughout the facility. If you are looking for a daycare or boarding home for your fur babies, this is the place. I would give 10 stars!

Been using K9 resorts as a daycare and boarding resource for my two hound dogs for a few years now and they have been wonderful since day one! The staff is always so helpful and friendly. My dogs always seem happy and comfortable to be there. The facility is always clean and well kept too. Can’t say enough good things!

Both of my dogs had the best time And they came home after only four hours of playing , and they were so tired that they slept the rest of the night. The staff is so friendly and the place is immaculate. I set up my boarding for my trip and I feel very confident leaving my 2 fur babies there. 100% recommended

My basset hound, Pearl, had a wonderful time at daycare yesterday. She was happy to see her friends behind the reception desk when she arrived, and when she left for the day she ran behind again to say goodbye. She loves your facility. Thanks so much!

I recently boarded my dog and puppy there for a weekend stay. My older dog had already been through the evaluation, but my 4 month GSP puppy had not been evaluated although recently completed all his shots. When I made the reservation over the phone I explained the situation and asked if I needed to bring my puppy in early for evaluation. I was told that I could just drop him off with my other dog when I was leaving for my trip and if there any issues he could still board but just wouldn't play with other dogs. I also explained that I would be going directly to the airport to catch a flight so wanted to ensure that was ok and was told it would be fine. I also paid for half of the stay up front with my credit card. When I went to drop off the dogs I was told by someone at the front desk that since the puppy hadn't been through evaluation I would have to come back to pick him up if there were any issues. As I was catching a flight out of town this was not an option and I was just planning on dropping the dogs off before heading to the airport. I had to spent time explaining the situation before someone came out and said it would be ok. My puppy ended up catching kennel cough and I had to take him to the vet for treatment which cost an additional $175. Overall I wasn't happy with my customer experience.

This was our first time boarding our rescue dog and we were apprehensive and stressed. He is so very attached to us. The staff at K9 Resorts were fabulous - friendly, knowledgeable, caring… absolutely amazing. The facility is beautiful, and impeccably clean. The staff promptly replied to my texts and emails and it is obvious everyone truly cares about the dogs. We would never board our dog anywhere else. Thank You K9 Resorts for making this a positive experience for our dog as well as us!

Alexis is the best!! My boy Maverick (3 yr old Husky/GSD) has bad anxiety & a fear of ppl & places (due to his past home) but he LOVES Alexis. He won’t let us bathe him but he smiles & loves for Alexis too. He doesn’t even mind the dryer. I can’t recommend her enough. We also have a 6 month old Siberian Husky named Sage who also adores her!! I don’t trust ppl with my pups but I trust Alexis bc she truly loves what she does.

Alexis is great! She takes such good care of our Puppy. We were gone for ten days and Alexis watched her for us. She walked her, snuggled her, sent us pics daily. Above and beyond. Our puppy loves her. Would highly recommend

Alexis and team of Claws of the Creek did an amazing job on our furry girls....they were pampered and sent home looking prettier than when they left...this is the pic she sent me after the brushout of their undercoat.....it's like we had 2 additional dogs...🤣. She will be added to our monthly budget...So happy I found her....🥰 …

I cannot share enough positive things about Alexis and the care she provides for my 3 dogs! She’s incredibly easy to work with and so dependable/reliable. Despite my pups having wild personalities and needs, she’s patient and always keeps them safe. She goes above and beyond and it gives me such peace of mind to know my dogs had a visit with their favorite person while I’m at work. She’s even groomed 2 of my dogs and I would highly recommend her grooming services. I get many pics of their time together and cannot recommend her enough.

Amazing team, I couldn’t have asked for a more down to earth and professional experience. They shared advice and took their time with my older kitty, for a truly great price!! Extremely sweet, gentle and an obvious love for animals. I highly recommend them and have already referred them to my dad for his kitty!
