Julia was friendly and a good communicator. She got on well with Tiffin and gave her lots of walks and swims. She adapted well when the weather was very hot. Julia sent us plenty of photos of their walks together and she looked after our home beautifully. We came home to a very neat and tidy house. We would recommend Julia as a sitter.

Amy and Dan were absolutely fantastic! From the moment we engaged, we could feel they were reliable and have a genuine care for animals. We invited Amy and Dan to stay the night before we left for our trip which was ideal for all of us, and we found their company to be delightful. Amy and Dan were respectful of our time and home which we really appreciate. Whilst away Amy and Dan provided us with informative and timely updates (despite the 7 hour time difference!) of our pets and specifically we had one (Beany) who had unexpected surgery and needed special care. Amy and Dan went above and beyond caring for Beany!. Our home and pets were left just as we had hoped, clean/ tidy and all in great shape. Communication from start to finish has been perfect. We will invite Amy and Dan again and would 100% recommend them as fantastic house sitters. Thank you both, Matt and Simona.

Shaun & Georgie

Shaun and Georgie are the most delightful couple who fully embraced life in Wasdale with Watson. They were very caring of our little, ageing dog and got to know his ways quickly. He felt extremely comfortable with them and it was lovely to see the pictures they posted to us of him cuddling up to them in the evenings. They were very accommodating of our dates and times and absolutely lovely people to have in our house. We'd have no hesitation in recommending them, and asking them to sit for us again.

This was our first time with a Zeewoi and Lisa was a wonderful ambassador for the organisation. Her communications were prompt and clear, she arrived when she said she would and took in everything we told her about house, garden and Sparkle. She looked after all three beautifully and we returned to find a lovely clean house, well watered plants and a very happy dog. She also did wonders in my weedy veg patch!

Paige and James were very reliable and arrived when they said they would. Paige let me know when they had arrived as we did not overlap. She sent me pictures of Willow and the banties to let me know all was well. When we returned everything was very clean and tidy and the animals were all happy. I would not hesitate in recommending Paige and James for a housesit.

Simon arrived on time and was immediately at ease with Barney who loved him ! We were happy leave for our holiday knowing Barney Billie and the chickens were in good hands ...as well as our home ...Simon kept in touch regularly and it was clear we had made a great choice..we would not hesitate to ask Simon again and would recommend him as a sitter .

Pola was very sweet and great! She was an excellent communicator and attentive and overall left the house as she had entered it. She took great care of Lila and they went a lot of adventures together! You can tell they had a good vibe together. Would definitely recommend Pola for future sits!

Deborah was exemplary in every way and this was a very good first experience on this site. She sent us regular updates on our pets and took on a complicated scenario- 2 cats a kitten and a large dog ( the kitten was not allowed to meet the large dog and was not allowed outside). This was an excellent sit experience.  Lovely dogs and the views from the lovely home were great.  The hosts were most gracious and we enjoyed dining with them the night before the sit.  They also provided accommodation in the cottage on the property for us since we arrived a couple days early.  Thank you for your hospitality.

Sandra and Odi are both lovely! Odi is a very sweet and easy dog who just loves a cuddle. He's very easy to look after and very well-behaved on walks. He pulls a bit on the lead but that's about it. On road/pavement walking is required to get to the nearest field but it's not far and the roads are fairly quiet. Communication from Sandra was good throughout.

Looking after Maria's house and cat Darwin was an absolutely pleasure. Darwin is very playful and easy to take care of. Her house is lovely, super comfortable and in a quiet cul-de-sac. 

Maria is a very generous person and I'd be very happy to sit here again! I miss Darwin!

I felt very comfortable in Geoff's home. It was quiet and peaceful. Very well decorated. His boys are cute and well behaved.

Ginger and Gary are wonderful. Unfortunately, they had to cancel their trip due to unforeseen circumstances but they still let me stay at their house for a few nights while they stayed at their daughters in town. Ginger also picked me up and dropped me off in Portland and sent me with a goody bag of snacks for my road trip. She allowed me to use her car as well. I was in charge of watching the two cats who were super easy to care for. They came and went as they pleased. The location is great - walking distance to downtown White Salmon and Hood River is across the bridge. I felt safe and comfortable in their home as a solo female traveler. I was bummed due to the trip being cancelled, not spending as much time there as I planned and having to spend extra money I didn’t plan on but other than that, everything was great. Ginger and her family were extremely friendly and inviting.
