Darren is a fantastic house and pet sitter. A dog lover who is very active outdoors so happy to walk and play with pets. And completely available to address mail and house issues as they came up over the course of the sit. He took a great care of the house. We would easily have him back and hope that others consider him for international or other housesits.
Sitting Meadow was so much fun! She’s the most adorable loving dog. Cindy’s home was warm and welcoming and just the perfect stay for a mini vacay. I’d happily sit meadow any time in the future!
We have had the most fantastic stay looking after Alice's home and pets. We received an extremely warm welcome and Alice's detailed instructions gave us everything we needed for the stay to run really smoothly. The home and area were a little slice of paradise that we were sorry to say farewell to! Stoker & Turpin are gorgeous dogs; both very affectionate and good natured. They are a pleasure around the house - very calm and love a stroke & cuddle. Out on walks they are extremely good both on & off the lead. I cannot extress highly enough what a wonderful stay we've had. With grateful thanks to Alice & the family.
Milo is such an affectionste, and well-behaved spaniel that loves to walk off lead and responds to commands. He is fascinated by nature and catches the falling leaves from trees in the autumn, and we are hoping to return to see what captivates his curiodity in the winter. Milo lives in a very comfortable riverside townhouse in a safe and frienfly neighbourhood with genuine, thoughtful and appreciative pet parents. This is a must sit for true dog lovers.
Myself and my mum both loved this sit! Melanie and Peter have a lovely, comfortable home with a wonderfully seculded garden that makes you feel as if you are in your own little world. Even with the incredibly rainy summer, it was a beautiful outlook; and every day we would see a little family of rabbits hopping around! We were left with very clear instructions on how to look after everything, (along with some wine and chocs!) and communication was easy throughout the sit, with Melanie only ever being just a message away. Coco & KitKat are both incredibly sweet natured, gentle cats who love a lap or shoulder to sit on! True to their breed, they are very friendly and love human company; but they are equally very independent and absolutely no trouble at all to look after. KitKat very readily takes her medication without a fuss, licking it straight from the syringe. And although Coco had a couple of accidents during our sit, possibly due to another cat bothering him at night; he soon regained confidence and calmed down after we started going outside with him before bed, and Melanie ordered him a Feliway diffuser. Melanie & Peter's home is also superbly located for visiting anywhere in Gloucestershire due to it's convenient proximity to main roads and the motorway. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here, and were very sad to leave. We would return again in a heartbeat! If you ever get the chance to sit for Melanie & Peter, take it without hesitation.
Truman and Little Bear are such sweethearts! We had a good time together, and I appreciate all the laughs, cuddles, and sweet little kisses from Truman. I enjoyed my visit tremendously, and I would love to go back! The house is lovely, serene, well-equipped, and in a great location. David and Pam were excellent with communication throughout, and very thoughtful hosts. ✨️
I so enjoyed the opportunity to stay with Snow White and Happy in the condo Beatrice shares with her daughter in Silver Spring. Though I had been told that Snow White is the more reticent of the two, it turned out that Happy happened to hide for most of my first day with the pair. Once he appeared and warmed to me, both of them were generous with cuddles and rubs. One of the advantages of Beatrice's home is its full bank of windows, and I wish the weather had been such that I could've lounged on the lovely balcony. As I had my car, downtown DC was easily reached on a couple of occasions, though I think one could also have accessed public transit close by. Quite the quiet post-Christmas week and New Year's Eve and Day for kitties and caretaker; glad to have had this experience!
