This sit was a dream. There is so much to say, but words cannot capture how special my three weeks with Finnegan was in Driggs. Bob and Debbie are stellar hosts and the definition of good people. They are generous of spirit and share with such openness that I felt totally comfortable and spoiled. Finn is the fluffiest best boy. He loves being with people, going on long walks, getting treats, fetching the ball, and snuggling on the couch. I really fell in love with him. Driggs is a quaint one-light town against the backdrop of The Grand Tetons, abundant in hiking trails and friendly people (everyone waves at each other when driving by). The neighbors are available if you need them, and I highly recommend taking them up on their offers to play cards or share a meal. Bob and Debbie’s home is lovely, with big windows facing the mountains and a back porch with a hot tub, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and bar, and a gas fireplace for cozy days. To say that the neighborhood is gorgeous is an understatement. I appreciated the use of Bob’s truck to run errands and do some sight seeing. Be prepared to fall head over heals with Finn, and miss him terribly when you go. This sit was one that has marked my heart in many ways, and I hope to come back again. I feel super lucky to have been chosen to care for such a special dog, for such special people. 💚
Angela was great to sit for. She was friendly and communicative, and the sit was really easy. Bubby is a very shy cat so I didn't see much of her, but after a couple of days, she started to warm up and even asked me to play with her on our final evening together.
