We had a great time looking after Simon and Lily, they were both super friendly and easy to look after. There were great walks just outside the house too! Lucinda was super helpful showing us everything beforehand. Thanks for a great sit!

Rachel
I recently completed a sit for Rachel and have concerns that she may have a history of being upset with and leaving negative reviews for her sitters. I had some red flags upon meeting her when she complained about other sitters she hadin the past. I found Rachel's communication to be contradictory and unclear. Ultimately resulting in a miscommunication around the time she was to return. She said late afternoon which I later found out meant 5:00 which I considered the evening. I offered to come back and did so without complaint to make sure the dogs didn't go for too long without a bathroom and exercise break. Rachel decided to get very upset anyways, she yelled at me over the phone and threatened to leave a bad review. I'm not sure what else I could have done to make her happy. I'm sure I'm not her first bad review and I'm sure I wont be her last. I can't recommend staying at Rachels and I feel other sitters should be aware of the tempermental dynamics at play here. I suppose we all have to receive that one unfair review. I've now checked that one off my list and I've learned to take more time in considering who I sit for and to take more seriously those red flags in the beginning.

Anita and Nacho were our first housesit and we couldn‘t be happier with the experience we had! Anita was the most friendly person ever! She didn‘t hesitate to give us a chance as first timers and went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed. She is a very good communicator, so you do not have to worry about being left alone with your questions. Most importantly, Nacho was such an amazing dog. He has so much love to give and we sincerely miss him so much. We both are so so so sad to leave Nacho and will forever remember this amazing time. PS: Anita’s apartment is so cozy, too! Thank you, Anita 💛

Samantha
Sam was a fantastic host and we were welcomed with a warm hug when we arrived. Sam introduced us to the family and they all showed us around their stunning home and property. We met Ludo, Piggy, the 2 saddleback pigs and the chickens! We were left w/very good instructions. We had all the fresh eggs we could handle. We felt very fortunate to have been chosen us to watch their gorgeous newly remodeled home and pets. The impressive city of Wells is just a cpl miles away. Where you’ll find many restaurants, pubs and shopping. You can also spend the day at Bath, Frome and Glastonbury.

Rooney was a joy to care for. He is easygoing, good-natured, and responsive to commands. He slept on the floor near our bed and would greet us in the morning with a little lick on the knee or elbow. Very sweet. We brought our dog along, and they got along wonderfully and enjoyed keeping a watch on things together from the porch. Rooney was a great doggie host - showing her the great outdoors next to the house. Julie was also a very nice host. She communicated well and made us feel welcome. She clearly felt comfortable leaving Rooney with us, which, in turn, made us feel comfortable taking him on outdoor adventures. I highly recommend sitting for both Julie and Rooney.
