We looked after the lovely Bobby for a week and had a great time. We had the chance to meet Rebecca & Alan and family before the sit started and they couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming.

The house was immaculate and comfortable with a wonderful garden space, kids entertainment was top notch with a trampoline and football goals which my daughter enjoyed, and we were even lucky enough to have the weather for a bbq.

Bobby was a bit anxious at night but aside from that he was the sweetest, cuddliest, most gentle dog and we really enjoyed looking after him - so much so that Jason is adamant he would like a Bichon Frise when we get our own dog one day!! We enjoyed our little walks around the pretty village with him.

We would recommend this sit and would love to return one day if we were welcome back and dates suited.
Thank you for having us.

What a pleasure it was to house and pet sit for Val and Dek. Never have I been made to feel more welcome and at home then with Tula, Walin, Che, Cozy, Oli and the feathery family too. The house is cosy and warm with central heating and open fires - traditional but with an artistic touch - the pictures really don't do it justice. The village is great with a good range of shops, and area has fantastic walks from the doorstep, alongside the river and up the nearest hill, as well as short drives to Bennachie hill and Paradise woods. The dogs were so much fun to look after. We spent long days walking by the river, so that Tula could enjoy her swimming, whilst Walin chased after her, and Che was the marathon runner who just kept going when the other 2 were tiring. In the evenings, it was a loving cuddles on the sofa and bit of SkyTV. Cozy and Oli were just beautiful. Oli is quite independant, but Cozy likes a bit more attention, especially at feeding times. I was really sad to leave and wanted to take them all home with me!!
I'd definitely recommend housesitting for Val and Dek :) Thank you for having me!

Véronique
Véronique, Menno, and their two daughters are very friendly and welcoming. They did their best to make me feel at ease in their home. Madou is a very kind and affectionate dog despite her imposing appearance, I enjoyed the time I spent with her. As for the place, the house is charming, and the environment is beautiful.

Lisa
Lisa and her family were great. Very thorough and responsive with questions ahead of time and while we were sitting. The animals were all a lot of fun. it took a day to get into a rhythm managing the three dogs, and corraling the goats at night was a fun challenge at times, but overall we had a great experience. Beautiful home in a beautiful location.

Megan, Kevin, and Radar are the best trio ever!! Prior to my arrival we set up a zoom call to chat about the sit and Radar and Megan and Kevin created a wonderful google doc with all necessary info about Radar and the house. Megan and Kevin were super responsive to any questions I had and were so lovely to chat with.

Upon arrival I instantly felt welcomed and Radar warmed up to me quickly! Radar is such a sweet guy and loved to spend time together, he was great on walks as we steered clear of other dogs and he’s a great car passenger! He’s definitely a snuggle bug which I love!! Radar loves going to the park around the block!

The house is super cute and is in the PERFECT location! I felt safe the whole time and the neighbors were very friendly. I definitely recommend this sit to other sitters and if you’re a sitter and do have the pleasure of meeting Radar, give him a big hug for me!!

Thank you Megan and Kevin!!! <3

Penny is a 16 month old GSP which means she is a handful. She is continuing to be trained and I’m sure each sitter will have an easier time. We are giving a 4 because we want the sitter to make sure they are up for the challenge before choosing this sit.
She is fun to play with but can take it a little too far. She is great with other dogs and she is learning how to roam the world and come back when called. You do have to be aware of your things as she will chew them up.
She loves to be near you at all times and gets a bit nervous at night time.

The house is beautiful and you can’t beat the view. Jane and Roger are great communicators and have everything you need.

If you are looking for an adventure this sit is the place to be! Great hiking trails, friendly neighbors and energetic dog.
