This was the third time Tammy has stayed with Nino, and I really appreciate that. She loves my dog very much which means a lot to me. I know that when I invite her for a sit, I can relax and enjoy my vacation, as she will reliably take care of my pup. Tammy has a positive attitude and is very friendly as well. I would recommend her and also hope that she visits Nino again.
We had a fantastic experience petsitting Pip for Nick & Sam. Nick & Sam have a beautiful home near Edinburgh's Meadows/Marchmont area. We felt instantly at home and felt well equipped for the sit as we had a thorough walk around with Nick and were left detailed printed instructions. Nick & Sam are very easy going and it was very easy to communicate with them. Pip is the most wonderful dog. She's smart, cute, and playful. She is very friendly with other humans (loves meeting new people!) and mostly indifferent to other dogs. We took her to Blackford Hill every day as she can run around off leash and you won't see a happier dog than Pip. We had no problem with her following us and coming back to us when called when she was off-leash. We also regularly took her for city explores or to hang out at the meadows in addition to her daily walk, and she's always happy to go out as much as possible. She's easy to care for and love.
It was such a pleasure to housesit at Angela's house. She has a lovely spacious house with the most beautiful garden, and in a great location in Christchurch. She was always available whenever I needed to contact her, and she picked me up from the airport which was really handy. Floss is really cute and was super easy to look after. She was a little nervous at first but she soon warmed up :). Would love to housesit for Angela again!
Our recent first house/pet sit thru THS was for Joan & Mitch. Prior to arriving they provided us with online links for train services to make sure we knew how to organise transport from our arrival point in Brussels. Joan met us at the train station in Antwerp to make sure we found our way to their home. Joan & Mitch were so welcoming we immediately felt at home. Joan prepared a super dinner that night & next day Joan & Mitch spent the whole day guiding us around Antwerp, to show us points of interest, favourite restaurants, so on to make sure we were comfortable & knew our way about the city. Their home is beautiful & immaculately cared for. Stella & Milou were a pleasure to care for - always wanting attention, Milou laying on your lap or Stella requesting a good scratch around the head & playing with the laser light. Had us in fits. Antwerp is an attractive city with plenty to do & see. Nearby towns are accessible by inexpensive trains for day trips. We left Joan & Mitch with the feeling that we had made good friends & we are hopeful of returning to them sometime. They are lovely people & it was a privilege to house sit for them.
Dorian and Jenny’s home was a great first stop in London! Stanley was the perfect company and was happy to come with me for long walks throughout the day and equally as happy relaxing at home. Loki enjoyed a cuddle of a morning but was otherwise doing her own thing. Dorian and Jenny were very generous and gave a great run through of their home and the general area which was super helpful being new to London. I would happily sit Stan and Loki again any time.
I loved housesitting for Lars and Ferghal in SF! Lars is such a sweet older kitty who will often just sit right nearby you (sitting on the bed, couch, during meals), and Ferghal is hilarious and actively playful. They are so cute and were easy to care for. Communication with Heather from beginning to end was excellent and always clear. Her place has a beautiful sunset view of SF in a *very* central location with all of the amenities, including great wifi for working, washer/dryer, etc. I would absolutely housesit Lars and Ferghal again. Caroline and Shane were wonderful hosts! Their beautiful, well-equipped home made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Taking care of Eden was an absolute joy; she's the most loving girl. We're grateful for the opportunity and would gladly return anytime. Highly recommended! 🐾🏡

Our pup had a wonderful stay with sarah from start to finish. After never using a dog sitter/boarder before we were hesitant to leave our boy for 9 nights but we had absolutely nothing to worry about. Sarah sent us regular updates throughout his stay and upon collecting him we can tell he was very well looked after! Would 100% recommend paws and relax, our boy is now exhausted from a week of walkies, playing and cuddles!
Staff are wonderful and very professional. The dogs are well looked after and Dizzy seems to love it here. He has even made 2 new friends. Have booked more sessions for him.
My girls go to the 'nursery' 2/3 times a week. The people are amazing, great with our dogs and very knowledgeable. Despite having a poorly dog, they are happy for her to attend and make sure she is ok. My girls love going and don't want to leave!!

I use the barking success day care for the puppy social mornings and occasionally for 2 hours each day for my 18 week old deaf Dalmatian pup! They are brilliant with him and very good at helping him build confidence, he’s always well looked after and the staff are lovely to him! Would highly recommend.

They are just amazing! We left our dog, Fred, with them for our first holiday since getting him as a rescue. He is dog reactive when with us and we were very unsure about how he would be. They managed to mix him with other dogs and the photos of him happily running with others and enjoying himself, put our minds at rest. Would definitely be using them again. First class service . Everyone is always very polite, knowledgeable and they genuinely love all the dogs , cats and other animals they care for.
Brilliant!! My dog loved his stay and he is booked in again for April. He has clearly been so well exercised he has slept almost solid for 2 days. They provide food and beds so you don’t need to take anything with you. Plus they have the adjoining day care if they want to go there for a couple of days as well. They put up pictures of your pup and they also gave him a bath and nail cut for a reasonable price. I like that it is excellent care for an affordable price. They also offer luxury pads although we didn’t use them this time as it was a bit last minute Ralph is booked in there for the next time. It is so nice to have somewhere for Ralph to go that he enjoys. They have lots of bits to play with and jump on ect and they take the dogs out for walks. They show so much love for them so it’s home away from home.
My little one has stayed three times now and always seem to have fun. Walked lots and sleeps well for days after. Loads of photos and text message updates which is reassuring when leaving him there. Will continue to use her services.

This is a very nicely finished cosy cottage for two. The cottage and the grounds are very well maintained, it is on a busy road so there is some noise from passing traffic. It makes a great base for visiting the surrounding area.
Easy to find and there are a couple of farm shops nearby. Visited family in Rustington, but there is loads to do in the area e.g: roman villa if you were looking for things to do.
Excellent welcome. We stayed on the estate for a weekend away from the city, and we didn't get disappointed. Recommended.
Just picked up our three from their holiday whilst we had ours from Carleton Canine Centre. Having tried another two kennels over the years we can thankfully say we have found our one… whilst leaving a review may make them busier and more difficult for is to get our three into it is well worth the recognition. Nothing was too much trouble, they understood the breeds and their ‘unique charms’ and all three had their tails up and were happy. (Past experiences with others not the same) we fully expected to have to wash the dogs when we got home but no need. I have no trouble recommending the kennels and their staff as they were all lovely. Thanks again x
We took our three big dogs here for the last week while we were on holiday. After having a few bad experiences with kennels, we were nervous to try another, but we cannot explain how pleased we were with Carleton! All of the staff are incredibly caring, friendly, and attentive. One of our dogs is a Cane Corso with a lot of friendly energy but anxiety about kennels. I have never seen her walk in so excited and happy and come out exactly the same. This has filled my heart to know she was happy and comfortable while we were away. We're so pleased and have definitely found our new kennels for any future use! Thank you so much to the whole team, cannot recommend you enough!

We adopted our two Jack Russell Westie crosses from here 18 months ago, and we bring them back to be groomed here. The pups are always happy to see the staff , which is lovely.

Our rescue dog Skye is very well looked after here. She is on lots of medications and they made a clear plan to make sure she could still have the routine she has at home - Rene, Carla and the team are brilliant - and Rene talks to and loves Skye like she’s her own - we have used them a number of times now and will continue to do so -
I cannot recommend here enough!!!! I have a very anxious dog who is scared of people so I called and explained and they said I could bring him along and meet everyone so he can get used to the staff before leaving him whilst on holiday. I felt so content leaving him in their care (and I wouldn’t have gone on holiday if I wasn’t 100% sure he would be okay and trust who looked after him) He means the world to me so I was very picky! All the staff are absolutely amazing and Bears best friend Renee is just an absolute hero! She reassured me so much I often received videos and pictures of him which calmed me so much! It meant I felt so comfortable and happy knowing he was happy and in such good care! My dog Bear loves her so much they even share his favourite treats of a carrot together! 😂 We now have 2 dogs and again due to her being a rescue she is nervous. We took them both in and Bear couldn’t wait to see everyone! They made such a fuss of Beau and made sure she was settled and happy. And to ease my mind I receive a message that same day to say they are both fine and happy which meant so much to me! Renee goes above and beyond to make sure not only the dogs are okay but you are aswell! It’s so special when you find so where like this! I would be lost without you all! Thank you to all of you! Both my doggies love so much!!! You’re our doggie hero’s! ❤️
I miss my dogs a lot when I’m on holiday so I’m constantly checking the cameras to see if I can spot them. What I love to see is that every dog gets a cuddle and a fuss everytime they are let out into the paddock. The dogs all look so happy and the team there are clearly devoted to them. I can’t think of a better place to leave my dogs when I’m on holiday.
Our dog was here for 12 days over Christmas. He had troubles settling in but the staff were amazing especially Carla. Could not recommend enough. Thank you guys
Ripley stayed over Christmas at Carleton and clearly had a great time. The team clearly understand what they are doing and know dogs well which is very reassuring to the owners.
I cannot recommend Nicola highly enough. She has been looking after my Pomeranian, Bear for nearly a year now, 2-3 days per week and also boarding when I go away and the care and attention she provides are simply outstanding. Bear absolutely adores her and always comes back happy and well cared for. Nicola is reliable, professional and truly has a way with dogs (he is much better behaved for her than me)! It’s such a relief to know that Bear is in such good hands. Thank you Nicola for taking such good care of my baby boy.
I can’t recommend Canine Friend more highly! Nicola is incredibly friendly, and knowledgeable, and attentive to each dog’s needs. My dog is often anxious when staying away from home, but Canine Friend is like a second home and he has his own bed area and I am sure would be quite happy not to come home! . There is plenty of room for the dogs to play and relax and I get regular updates and photos, which put my mind at ease while I was away. There is no other place I would consider for my dog and Canine Friend is absolutely our go-to home boarding spot from now on
Our Labrador ‘Jackson’ is always very well looked after by Nicola when he stays. He is always very happy to go and gets lots of exercise and love! We are extremely happy to have found someone so good to look after our lovely dog for us when we are away.
Clyde has been with Nicola since just after she started her dog walking career. He also stays with her for day care & boards at her house. She is so kind & conscientious with Clyde & he just loves being with her. I would highly recommend Nicola as she truly loves the dogs in her care & looks after them as if they are her own.
Monty loves going on his holidays to Canine Friend. Nicola is simply the best and she treats him as if he is one of her own with 2 walks a day and lots of love !
My standard poodle Enzo loves Nicola so much! He can't wait to go out for walks with her and when he stays with her while we're away we know she treats him like one of her own dogs, he gets loads of exercise and cuddles in equal quantity. It's also reassuring to know that she is fully endorsed by Horsham District Council and has passed their rigorous inspections with flying colours.
Nicola has looked after our two dogs several times both while we were away on holiday & on ad hoc days. I can honestly recommend her unreservedly; she cares for each dog as if they were her own. I often see her while out walking my two & the dogs in her care are always having fun & getting plenty of attention. When I can’t be there for my dogs I know that they will get plenty of exercise & cuddles with Nicola in a safe & happy environment.
Nicola walks my dog every day and he absolutely loves her, she is reliable and fantastic with dogs, can't recommend highly enough.
