There is nothing more heartwarming than calling "Chook! Chook!" and having three hens running toward you as fast as they can from the neighbour's yard, the roadway or the bottom of the back garden! Talk about feeling loved and appreciated! The cats are a little more 'distant' as cats often are, except when they want to play with the 'red dot' then you instantly become their very best friend! Our stay at Melissa and Marc's place was a wonderful sojourn in the French Alps. Beautiful scenery every way you looked and no matter what weather. We especially enjoyed exploring the Cascades and the Cinque-Fer-de-Cheval hiking trails. M and M were both very friendly and welcoming and their house is delightful. I do highly recommend them.
This was a wonderful sit. Andrea & Darryl where helpful in explaining where everything was in the house. Most importantly was Tess, the cutest little, well behaved dog!! Andrea left a list of commands that Tess follows, so that made it quite easy. Amazingly when you say "Bedtime Tess" she heads right to her crate and waits for her treats. She loves her walks every day, either around the block or there is a nice park nearby. Andrea and I texted back and forth an WhatsApp, so easy to keep in touch. The pool was warm enough because the outside temps were in the 100's. They also have a nice hot tub, but I didn't take advantage of that. Everything you need for an enjoyable sit. Thank you so much to Joe and Lizzie for such a wonderful pet sitting experience! They were super communicative and left very clear video instructions for us which were super handy. We felt very welcome in their house which was absolutely gorgeous and clean and tidy when we got there. Spyro was a very cute and easygoing cat to look after with a great personality. Once he warmed up to us he loved to play, especially in the evenings. We would definitely recommend this sit to others, thanks so much again Joe and Lizzie
