I loved this sit! Milo is adorable, very sweet and so affectionate. He loves to play! He’s also good on walks and friendly to people and other pups. It takes a bit for beautiful Lilu to warm up to you but then she is just as affectionate, assuming Milo lets her get any attention! (He’s a bit jealous.) The apartment is lovely, the location fabulous, and Milo and Lilu are easy and fun. Krish and Liza were thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely very nice. Highly recommend this sit!
First, they did not have listed in their profile that they had security cameras in the home, when asked about them on our call, he said he did not have any camera, when I arrived, they did have cameras, when I asked if they were live, they told me no. However, I saw on their monitoring system that it had captured a picture of me. The security system in the home would announce extremely loudly every time when one of the doors was opened or closed and even when the wind blew too hard at the front door, it would announce that someone was at the door. I asked the home owner how to turn the volume down, and they said they did not know. So I googled it and learned how to turn the sound down. I informed them that I learned how to turn it down as I have super sonic hearing and sorry, but it was just grating on my nerves. He said, and I quote "Ok cool. Sorry about that. Husband is half deaf and works from home so I didn't think about it from another stand point." When they complained to the THS staff, they also informed them that they had an obligation to 1) have it listed in their profile and 2) to inform any house/pet sitter, as it would be up to them to accept a sit with cameras or not. They did not like that and accused me of mixing up some of our cords and taking some of their computer cords and leaving mine behind which I did not because I could not use their office as that was another thing they mislead me about that their home was scent free of perfumes. Well, they had a box of men's perfume sitting right their on the desk, so I could not use their office. There were several other things as well that they had misinformed me about. Unfortunately, they seemed to show no appreciation for the fact that their dogs were well cared for. Which was the main object as to why I was there in the first place. The house was in good shape upon their arrival. Anyway, lesson learned I guess.
We had a great time looking after Charlie at Valerie and Bills beautiful Lake Macquarie home. Charlie was a great personality and easy to care for. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house and with Charlie walking on the foreshore. We would gladly do another sit here should it become available. We old recommend this sit. Marla & Jim
Our stay with Sue, without a doubt, has been one of our favorites. Sue is a very friendly and charismatic person, like her whole family they have made us feel very comfortable and like a home for us. From the first contact with Sue she has been very warm, communicative and very easy going. We exchanged a couple of recipes (what she prepared for us was very delicious!) and the conversation with them is undoubtedly very friendly and charismatic. Being with Riff Raff and Heather is very comfortable, they are a very well behaved pair of little dogs, easy to be with, adorable and playful. They both love to play in their own way, Riff will always bring you a ball to throw and will be the happiest dog, while Heather likes to play to chase you and back, as long as she can run after something she will surely be very entertained. Heather is a very social dog, she makes friends very easily. We took them to the park that is near the house and to a little tour on the river, where we took a drink well accompanied by the puppies, they made our walks very pleasant and fun. We left a couple of days ago and already miss everyone too much! Thanks again Sue, for everything. We hope we can cross our paths again soon.
Chase and Bentley were so much fun! They have wonderful, but different personalities. Chase is mellow, loving, cuddly, and such a good companion. Bentley is frisky, energetic, loves to chase anything thrown, and still a puppy. Chase is faithful, and Bentley is very clever. Liz's home is spacious, beautiful and has anything you need. It is as pictured and has many living areas to enjoy. Liz is caring, does her best to make you feel comfortable and welcome. She truly made us feel like her home was our home. She was prompt in responding to questions while we were on the sit and provided us with the information we needed to care for her home and pets.
This stay was amazing! Very clean and beautiful place with an amazing location and view of the mountains. Poutine was, of course, the star of our stay; she is the sweetest, cuddliest cat around. ✨
