I absolutely loved my time with Levi and Peanut! They are the sweetest guys and made really nice companions while I worked during the day. Caring for them was straightforward and easy and the main task was giving them lots of attention and love which was not hard. The house is comfortable and in a peaceful neighborhood, easily accessible to exploring Austin. My favorite part, though, was just lounging on the back deck in the sun, with trees all around and Levi and Peanut watching for squirrels and rabbits at my feet. I was also glad to get a chance to meet Dana and Julie before they left. They are lovely people and gave me all the info I needed/were quick to respond by text. This was a great sit and a wonderful homebase while visiting Austin!
We felt like at home, with delightful company, thanks to our gracious hosts for an enjoyable time. We fully recommend a visit to this nice and quiet place.
We had a wonderful time with Buzz, he is a 5 star pup! We were given detailed info on how to care for him and what to expect. We found that he matched our energy well- relaxing with us at times and totally playful at others. He is a big sweetheart! Sally and Hal were kind and welcoming from our first chat until our last. The welcome gifts were unexpected and perfect. Their home is beautiful with a great kitchen for cooking. Again, we were clear on the expectations with the home and felt relaxed the whole time. Buzz, we'll see you soon and bring a new toy!!
Rufus is such a sweet and adorable cat! He loves cuddles and sleeping together in bed. Sophie’s apartment is well locate, close to the Danube but also close the center! ☺️
Kevin is a great host; he has a lovely home which is at a suitable location with all amenities within a reachable distance, not to mention the fact that South Down National Park is 10 minutes from your doorsteps, so is the sea, Brighton is almost 20 mins, Lewes is 15 mins. For a week, wherever I went, I took Lissa with me. Apart from the occasions when I swam/paddle board, I could not be without her. We had long walks in the national park, by the sea, sat in coffee shops, and she came with me to the pub; she followed my instructions attentively and stayed calm. Everyone adored her wherever I took her. She is a super kind, obliging companion to be with and wonderful to care for. I can hardly wait to come to a visit again and stay with Lissa.
My partner and I are grateful to have had the opportunity to sit at Kierston and Erics. Their dogs, Kia and Ellie, are some of the sweetest. Kia wants nothing more than to be by your side. Ellie warmed up nicely after about 24 hours and continued to soften, showing us more of her ultra-lovey personality as time passed. I think other sitters will appreciate the neighborhood with walking trails nearby. Having the use of an electric vehicle was the icing on the cake. Towards the end, when I made the embarrassing mistake of using the wrong dish soap in the dishwasher, Kierston was quick to offer peace of mind. Thanks again for having us!
