Wow, where do I even start with how great Prashant and India are?!? This was our first time using zeewoi and I was a little nervous as I had never left my dogs with strangers before. Prashant and India were really understanding about this and we had a lovely video call before the sit just to talk through everything. I could tell straight away how kind and conscientious they were. Getting everything organised for the sit was really straightforward and they responded to messages very quickly which was great. India arrived first and my dogs liked her straight away - they aren't always like that with new people! During the sit, Prashant and India continuously sent us photos and videos of the dogs to show us how well they were doing which was so nice and reassuring. The dogs were looked after so well and I don't think they even missed us at all! When we got home, the house was spotlessly clean and I was so impressed with how well they had looked after everything. I would not hesitate to have Prashant and India back as sitters. They are the loveliest people and they very clearly love animals. They will look both your home and your pets incredibly well and I was so happy to get to meet them. Cannot recommend them enough!
Sandra has been really friendly, welcoming and kind from the get-go. It’s very easy to communicate with her which makes everything just so much easier. Her instructions regarding her gorgeous cat Gus were clear and helpful, and Sandra was always open to answer any questions I may have had. Gus is a young, curious and independent kitty. He looooves his outdoor time, roaming around the neighbourhood, catching up with his cat friends or just checking out what’s news around the hood. No matter how busy he may be, he always comes back for cuddles and chats as well as his scheduled meals, given by an automated feeder, and the occasional treat that I always connected with a bit of play time. He certainly knows his meal times. It’s very cute to observe. He also has a tracker which made it easy for me to know on occasion where he was on those long summer days when daylight is aplenty and Gus simply has more time to have his outdoor adventures. So the tracker gave me peace of mind, knowing that he’s just around the corner, hanging with his cat mate, or simply enjoying a summer breeze in the nearby green areas - before he comes in for the night l. He’s not too bothered by rain either which I admire. He simply loves an outdoor adventure. :) He often visited me in bed over night for a snuggle, and during the day, he’s open for the occasional play time if he’s in the mood and if he doesn’t have other things to do. 😉 But he always enjoys a belly rub and he will show you in the cutest way that he would like some. 😊 Sandra’s apartment is a quiet oasis, I always had a great sleep there. It’s about 20 mins from Reykjavik by bus, easy to navigate. But the town itself is worth exploring also, it’s a charming place, with shops, cafes and supermarkets all around. You’ll have everything you need and more. I had a fabulous time with Gus and wouldn’t hesitate to come again if the opportunity arose again. Thanks again, Sandra, for being a wonderful and helpful host, and thank you, Gus, for being an adorable snuggle bug. All the best for you both! 😻
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amanda and Ian's house. They were very welcoming and Amanda cooked us a delicious meal the evening before their departure. Their house is comfortable, spacious and full of character. We had excellent communication before and during our stay. The pets were delightful, especially Sox the wonder dog who had spinal surgery last year. She is such a gentle, sweet dog who manages to be great fun despite her limitations. We enjoyed taking her for her swimming therapy and she was certainly full of beans afterwards. There is so much to see and do in the area, several National Trust properties, the beautiful coastline, pleasant market towns and the bright lights of Newcastle. There is an excellent bus service to the city just a couple of steps from the front gate. We would highly recommend this sit and hope to return ourselves.
Wow, what an exceptional cozy home and affectionate fur babies. Elizabeth is exceptionally welcoming and accommodating and I appreciated her detailed communication. This sit was short but very sweet and I’m grateful for the blessings. Lillian is beyond adorable and it is so much fun taking her on walks. She gets super excited and is so friendly with the neighbors and other pets. Harrison is a very calming sweet kitty. He would cuddle next to me, never meowed (how rare) and had such a loving temperament too. Both of them are soft to the touch and gentle fur friends. I’ll be happy to sit for you Elizabeth anytime, thank you kindly. =)
Deirdre was super nice. She personally welcomed us and gave me all the information I needed. She was always available via WhatsApp. Everything worked out wonderfully. Molly is so adorable!!! She is a sporty dog, even though she is so young. From my perspective, an adult or a strong teenager needs to handle her. She has a lot of energy, but she is super super sweet. She loves to play, and my son had so much fun with her. The home was beautiful, in a quiet area. Shops and restaurants a few minutes by car. Galway city center was quickly accessible by car. I know there is also a bus that runs, but we didn't use it. You can get to Connemara very quickly. It's a great starting point to explore Connemara and the National Park. You can start a wonderful round trip from there. We took Molly with us, and she sometimes waited in the boot. That was no problem at all. She is just a super adorable dog, and we had so much fun. Deirdre's home is super cozy and bright, equipped with everything you need. We felt super, super comfortable and would definitely love to come back.
We had such an enjoyable long weekend in Battersea looking after the gorgeous Pickles. She is such fun, full of energy and so affectionate. We were treated to lovely snuggles on the sofa with her favourite cushion when she had tired herself out chasing her toys! Communication with Meabh was super easy before and during the sit, and the flat is lovely and comfortable with plenty of natural light. The location couldn't be better! Battersea Park and Battersea Power Station nearby and lots of buses at the top of the road. When we weren't walking to various places, which is so easy in London, we made full use of our Oyster cards. Taking a bus to Holland Park to visit the wonderful Leighton House. Just 25 minutes on the bus whose route took us through some of the prettiest neighbourhoods in London. On Meabh's recommendation we tried the local Italian restaurant just minutes away, which was very good. Thank you Meabh for giving us the opportunity to stay in your home with the most adorable pet! 😻
This is a great sit!! Tess is a very kind and generous host, who not only provided a warm welcome and helpful instructions but also responded quickly to any follow-up questions while she was travelling. I especially appreciated her thoughtfulness and reliability when it came to the practical arrangements (scheduling, handover, supplies, etc.). Moon and Kobutsu are both adorable and a joy to look after. Moon loves to cuddle, so you will get lots of affection. Kobutsu is a little more reserved but just as sweet when he comes to you. The neighbourhood is beautiful and lively, with parks, stores and restaurants, including a food cart pod, in walking distance. The bus stop right in front of the building was closed down by the city the weekend before my sit. The new stop is a few blocks away but still easy to reach in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend this sit.
