Grace and Andrew were incredibly kind, accommodating and welcoming – they made us feel super comfortable from the get-go. They were clear and reasonable with how they asked for the house and Dexter to be looked after. It was our pleasure and privilege to look after such a stunning home, and Dexter was a beautiful old soul who guided us around the gorgeous valley and forests. The view of the valley was breathtaking and calming, and we felt so lucky to be amongst so much nature and wildlife - Buzzards, Storks, Dragonflys and the stunning Kingfishers were a sight to behold. We wouldn't hesitate to sit for Grace and Andrew again – both incredibly generous and easy-going people. We hope to see them again soon!
I thoroughly enjoyed my sit for Jemma and would recommend her modern beautiful home to anyone looking to stay in a peaceful English village just a bus and train ride away from London (under an hour). We exchanged a few messages and had a call before I arrived. She made me feel very welcome in her home, providing me with all the necessary information for looking after Roxy and Misty and about the house. The house is calm, peaceful and light. It has a lovely open plan kitchen/ living area perfect for cooking or relaxing with a book. I stayed in a guest bedroom which has black out blinds and its own en suite, she also kindly left me towels for the duration of my stay. Roxy is a really lovely dog who is playful, affectionate and relaxed. While misty is friendly but as with most cats more independent and enjoying time away outdoors. My time at Jemma’s was perfect, it felt a like a little sanctuary and I would love to stay again if the opportunity arose - highly recommend.

This was a dreamy sit! Dexter is just about the sweetest little dog and a champion at cuddles. He was a perfect gentleman the whole time I was with him. He loves to have toys thrown for him and gives you a polite stare when he’s ready to go out for a walk or play. But he is also very chill about being left - just curls up and snoozes until he hears you come back. April’s place is in a wonderful, safe, and super walkable neighborhood. It was amazing to be so close to the beach. Seriously, I could see and hear the waves from her driveway! Her place is completely comfy, has an ample deck if you want to hang out or work outside, and she made me feel so very welcome. I would love to sit here again. I highly recommend April not only because of her cozy apartment and its location, but also because she’s a good human.

Outstanding! Mary came to our rescue at short notice,after an overnight trial, Tiger holidayed for 2 weeks. We could see that he was having a great time time while we were away, he was in great shape when we came home and I knew that he loved Mary when he went back for a last hug before we went home. Absolutely recommend.

Our lab Henry has been a regular at Chandlers Cross for 7 years. He's always happy to arrive and wags his tail when he meets the lovely staff. He comes home happy and fit. We hate leaving our schnauzer as she doesn't like being left but we felt very confident that she would be well looked after by the nice people at this kennel - they seem really to care about the dogs, they were very friendly and helpful about all the arrangements, and it was very reassuring the way they urged us to visit in advance. At some kennels and dog "hotels" they seem reluctant to let you in at all. Our dog can't tell us if she enjoyed her two week holiday but she came home in good spirits, healthy, trim and clean. We will be hoping Chandlers Cross can take her next time we go away.
if your dog is a bit larger than the normal size of your dog breed or if your dog eats a bit more than the normal amount of its dog breed you should ask them to feed you more or bring your own dog food. but so far it's amazing

As daunting as it is and painful to leave special family member behind, Chandlers Cross staff (Jess) made me feel reassured and I could see how much passion they had for dogs and ensuring that dog needs would be met. Care offered be as good as I could hope it to be.
My dog is safe here when we are away. As a rescue she's nervous and doesn't love being away from us but we know we can go away with peace of mind that she is well cared for. All the staff are friendly and it's good to be dealing with real people when looking for a space or needing to amend a booking.
This is the first time here for Milo, wont be his last. Jess and Liz were so lovely with him, that he went in with ease. Thank you so much for taking him in at short notice, while i was having work done at home. Wonderful caring staff , wonderful kennels.
Mark, Jess and Liz are the most wonderful human beings and do an amazing job looking after all the doggies at the Kennels. Each and every dog is known by their name as they arrive and all the staff try their best to tend to their individual needs. These kennels were a great find in Hertfordshire. The staff are friendly and helpful and so obviously care about the dogs in their care. They were also really great with my autistic son aged 7 when we collected our dog. Patient and kind to dog child and owner. Thank you very much Cestreham kennels.

Tony has been walking our cavalier Daphne for 6 years since she was a puppy. Daphne loves her long walks (maybe not so much when it rains). She really missed them during lockdown. Tony has also built on the training we have done in regards to recall and we really noticed the difference. Being a spaniel she would chase birds and it took a long time for her to come back. Tony and Lindy are professional and flexible as we have sometime had to change pick up and drop off points last minute. Importantly they are also competitively priced. Would definitely recommend
Tony and Lindy offer a 100% reliable, great value for money pet service. However it's the fact that they genuinely love the dogs that sets them apart. Tony is like the dog whisperer. Our ridgebacks just love their pack walks with CPS. We are hugely grateful.

Harry loves his walks with Tony, he hears the van in the drive and runs out ready to go! You can tell there is genuine care for the dogs and reassurance they are well looked after and interacting with similar good natured dogs.

We love Crazy Tails, we brought Coco here for the first time and were a bit worried as she’s quite a ‘stressy’ but she was absolutely fine and came out looking amazing and smelling so sweet. Jo is so attentive with Coco and we’re very happy we’ve found them. X
One of the easiest recommendations EVER- this is by no doubt the best doggy day care ever!! Vicky and Graham created an absolutely magical place, brought the most amazing team, including Jenna and Tim the Trainer, and created a doggy heaven. There are days I seriously consider asking them to let me stay with them instead of going to work! Carla, my crazy 2 years old Bearded Collie, starts her happy dance down the road and bursts out of the car as we park. She is loved, taken care of and she even gets support on her training when needed whilst there. She is the happiest Beardie ever when returning back home, after a day there. And for us, logistics are also important- great opening hours, lots of indoor space so also when raining the dogs have where to run around, there’s vacation care and grooming! Makes our lives v much easier. Really happy with r Crazy Tail and full heartedly recommend 💖

I am training for my Award in Dog Grooming with Crazy Tails and I’m finding it to be one of the best learning experiences I’ve ever had. Academy manager Becky is second to none for knowledge, she’s patient and fantastic at teaching. I’ve been hands on since day one with amazing support giving me confidence in what I’m doing, even nail clipping!
Prince had a lovely time being groomed by Sky and the other girls. The fresh smell lasted quite a while. Very happy with the service and would recommend to anyone.
They did an amazing job on Ruby who has been going to crazy tails since she was a puppy. Friendly staff & my dog loves going. I would highly recommend them
Bailey has been coming to Crazytails Retreat for daycare, overnight stays and grooming since April this year . She absolutely loves it . She loves playing with the other dogs, going for walks and having cuddles with the lovely professional staff . It is her second home. The facilities for dogs are excellent and the staff cannot do enough for them . As Bailey has only just turned one year old, her socialisation has really improved since coming here . I really recommend Crazytails.
Becky is amazing and our dog absolutely loves being groomed. He always smells amazing when he leaves which is great.
So disappointed to go there and get the dog full of fleas (never had fleas in years and years) and with his anal glandes bleeding (for weeks after!, and not only once!). We went there regularly but for the past three sessions the experience was horrible for our dog, costing us extra money with vets and treatments. Very very disappointed.
My Keeshond had a groom at Crazy Tails today & we are very happy with the results! Keesies can be tricky to groom but the team did a great job. Very reasonably priced as well! We will definitely be back.
Don’t leave your pets with this driver. This morning I am driving through Elizabeth avenue , the driver of GK09DOG who is driving the van with the name A1 K9 pet care is very aggressive and faster than the speed limit. Apart from this he is “f” ing and yelling because I am driving in my lane and he is breaching the Highway Code by not giving me a way. I am surprised how is he going to look after these poor pets when he doesn’t have patience. He should be responsible when he is driving pets in his van and he poses danger to their life as I have witnessed this morning how fast he is driving and with bad behaviour. I wouldn’t leave my pets with this man as he has several issues.
We love A1-K9 Care! After searching lots of dog boarding places in Amersham, we came across A1-K9 Care. We loved the warm and friendly atmosphere and all the dogs looked happy and well looked after. When we pull up to their house our dog Toby cannot wait to get out of the car and runs straight in! It is such a relief to know he is happy while we are away. Thank you to Maxine and Georgia!
Georgia and her team are our first choice for taking care of our dog when we go away or need overnight care. Pack walks in the day and sharing Georgia's home in the evening means it's like a home away from home for our pooch.

Since we got our puppy a few years ago, Pet Relief have been amazing. From visits during the day when our puppy was small, to regular walks now and even occasional boarding nights when we go away, our pup always has a great time! Lisa and Paul have also been great and if we ever need to change our plans plans at the last minute, they are always understanding. Through covid they have made sure that they follow social distancing to ensure they provide a safe service. Would definitely recommend.
Pet Relief look after my 3 cats in our own home whenever I go away and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are happy to do all the little things like watering plants and turning lights on and off as well as caring for my cats who are always super-happy to see them. Pet Relief have always been reliable, punctual and so good with my babies - I wouldn't trust anyone else.
Pet Relief have provided us with cat feeding visits for over 10 years now. My cats much prefer being left in their own home and surroundings opposed to being taken to a cattery! Pet Relief are consistent, reliable and particularly responsive if you have a last minute requirement too. I would have no hesitation in recommending them if you live in the Hertfordshire areas they cover.
Pet Relief provides a fantastic service both in terms of dog walking and dog boarding. They have been totally reliable, always finding cover where needed and will do little extra things like turning on and off lights and picking up post. They have found walkers for us when we have needed someone at short notice and have even taken my dog to the groomers when I have been unable to do so. I have complete confidence that my dog will be walked by someone who loves animals and not in an enormous pack unlike so many other companies that you see. My dog loves her regular walker almost more than she loves us.
So Paul visited us at home to meet us and familiarise himself with our cat and property.He was very friendly and professional. He understood our needs and was in contact with us whilst we were away.He was very reliable and we would definitely use him again when we go away. Highly recommended

Ellen has made it possible for me to spend time on holiday feeling absolutely sure that my poodle, Teddy is very comfortable with all his canine friends and as for me I can relax knowing that he is happy in the environment that Ellen has created. This is the first time that he has stayed for a whole week even at the age of 11 years! And Ellen makes sure that I am kept up to date with videos throughout the day.
We had been searching for someone we could really trust to look after our dog and Ellen is most certainly that someone. We can tell that her priority is the health and wellbeing of all of the dogs that she cares for and not only that, she really loves the dogs that she looks after too. We haven't had a single worry about leaving our dog with her and we can relax knowing she is being really well looked after.
We started meeting Ellen at Lap Of Luxury in the Summer as we needed a reliable dog carer for our shy & nervous Mini Sausage for holidays, random over night stays and the odd weekday. I was quite anxious about finding the right place for Loki, but Ellen's attention to detail and extensive knowledge in all things dog soon put my mind at rest. She is intent on making sure your dog has the best time with her, a true home from home setting. The dogs are showered with love & attention, they all sleep in her room, either on their beds or hers. They have lots of play time in her beautiful large garden, & plenty of toys for all. She's very careful with each dogs dietary needs (mine is hypoallergenic) but nothing is a problem. Honestly if you are looking for a safe & loving environment for your furry friend i would highly recommend. You get plenty of video updates too :-)
We have been using Ellen for a few months now to look after our Cavachon and found her to be professional, kind and caring. She provides regular updates and videos which are very reassuring when you are away. We would recommend her 100%.
We love our dog, Clover, to stay with Ellen at Lap of Luxury! We could not ask for a better 'home from home' for her. Ellen provides excellent care - for day care and for longer periods of boarding. She discusses all aspects of care - food, medication, likes / dislikes, so that she is prepared for our dog and provides her clients with information detailing her care and legal responsibilities. She provides short videos during the day so that we can see how our dog is settling / playing / eating - whilst away for a longer period of time, these were very reassuring. I cannot recommend Lap of Luxury highly enough....and Clover agrees!

Just got to love Lap of Luxury, I have been taking my dogs to Ellen now for 3 years and it’s a godsend to have someone that literally loves your dog/s as much as you do, in the sense that they feel right at home, very well looked after and best of all, knowing & having peace of mind that they are in the best of care. More so when your thousands of miles away on holiday abroad. I had one instance when one of my dogs became unwell while abroad but had nothing to worry about as Ellen took him to the vets to be checked over and kept us informed throughout the whole process and reassured that he was fine. This gave us heaps of confidence that we did not need to cut our holiday short and still enjoy our break. Ellen is very up to date with doggy care, has all contingency plans in place for any kind of emergency. One thing I liked was, no matter how long or short the stay is for, she insists that you have an emergency contact in place to fall back on should you not be nearby. I've been using Tim and the team for regular day care and occasional overnight boarding for a couple of years now. It's a wonderful set up, with all the comforts of home - a really lovely environment. My dog is so pleased to see Tim when she arrives as she knows she has a brilliant day of engaging walks and playtime ahead. Tim and the team look after the dogs impeccably - I trust them completely and my dog is tired and happy when I pick her up! Highly recommended.
From the very first time my dog and I met Tim, I knew that he was the right choice. Tim is incredibly calm, kind mannered and the perfect choice to entrust to look after my furry family member! My dog is always happy to see Tim (and actually squeals with excitement as we arrive!) and always comes home tired. Daycare with Tim has been a great help in socialisation, but also a major relief knowing that if I need to travel for work, or want to take some holiday time with the family that there's somewhere safe, trusted and suitable.
My dog absolutely loves going to Tim's be it for boarding or just for day care. I cannot rate the standard of care given highly enough. Tim and his team treat the dogs in their care as part of their family and all the dogs seem so content there. You can tell by looking at their photos that the dogs are exercised well and most importantly look happy.
Our 2 springer spaniels go to Tim (and Sarah his assistant) for dog walking and boarding. Tim is very thorough and organised and we feel 100% safe leaving our precious dogs in his care. He takes the dogs for TWO country walks a day and they always come home happy and shattered! Can’t recommend highly enough.
Tim runs a fantastic and very caring dog day walking and boarding business. Our dog was well looked after, and taken on long and fun walks with other active dogs. Often he would have been washed too and came back looking very groomed. I recommend this business to anyone that wants a premium and caring dog service.
Tim and his team have been taking care of my dog now for several years. We can't fault the care and affection they give to Dexter. They take great care to tailor his walks to suit him as he is now an elderly dog. We have never had any concerns leaving him for extended stays when we go away. It is a second home now for Dexter. Can recommend them without hesitation and would not leave my dog anywhere else!
My dog loves going for Day Care with Tim and his team -she can't wait to get through the door. Tim is always really helpful and even though I only use the service occasionally, and sometimes at short notice, they will always try to accommodate my requirements. Highly recommended.
We have been using Pet Patrol for years and could not have asked for a better Company to come into our lives . We have 11 pets , Cats , dogs and rabbits . All brilliantly cared for by Bradley and his team . We have used other companies who are good but do not provide the personal experience that Pet Patrol provide.
They walked my dog daisy for about 2 weeks, I was never sure as daisy was doing her business when I was talking her out for a walk after work. I had to work from home one day when B came to pick her up, she barked at him and had her tail between legs and I had to pull her out to go for a walk! Asked for my keys back the same day.
Highly recommend Bradley and The Pet Patrol. My dogs love all the care and attention he gives them.
