Dog Sitters in Flawil

Unfortunately due to Coronavirus Christine was unable to pet sit for us. She was unable to travel from Switzerland and we were unable to travel to our intended holiday destination in Scotland. However, throughout all of our conversations regarding events Christine was very reliable and amenable to any suggestions, trying to problem solve if possible. We have come to an arrangement that hopefully next year she will be able to sit for us, let's hope so.

Everything worked out seamlessly with Emilija. Communication was good, she arrived on time, left the house spick and span and took good care of the cats. We can recommend Emilija and hope she comes back to us again.

Mariska was wonderful- with the house and with the dogs. Totally capable with my energetic labs, and also took wonderful care of the house while I was away. I would happily welcome her back any time.

Frankly, it's challenging to know where to begin. Virtually every aspect of Marion's sit was so remarkably thoughtful, caring and perfectly managed. In addition to daily updates with photos and reports about Bella's adventures, Bella was clearly given a great deal of TLC and wonderful outings. I returned home to a very happy dog who had clearly bonded almost immediately with Marion. She has a very calm and warm demeanour which Bella immediately responded to. Additionally, the apt. was left in impeccable and orderly condition. I can't recommend Marion more highly and hope that we'll have an opportunity to welcome her back again!

This is the first time I have to give a bad rating for a house siting. I am very sorry. Previously I had excelente¿ sitters. ☆summary: ●they don't know about real pet care (you can tell they do it for the accommodation). ● they are not clean. ● They do not communicate or send daily photos or videos. ●They DO NOT know how a house works. but they don't ask either. People can do an excellent job with will, enthusiasm and without having prior knowledge. Just asking and solving doughts. That's why I leave videos. and annotations to help and facilitate tasks. +There was almost no communication. They only sent a total of 8 photos in total of 6 pets in 15 days. If I didn't write to them, they didn't contact me to tell me how the pets or the house was going on.Cleanliness and order did not exist. They expected the lady that goes during weekdays to do everything. After the first weekend, this lady arrived on Monday and told me that was incredibly dirty, smely, and thank the kitchen was a cementary Of used pots. When they arrived I told them that the sheets were washed once a week by the house keeper and they told me that it didn't matter that after 15 days it was fine, (which I didn't agree to, it seemed unusual to me). In the 15 days they were not able to remove the dog's waste or poop. Of the bag in the garden.They expected the employee to do it. The last day was Monday(I allowed them to stay two more days out of mercy since where they were moving was without heat). And I asked them if they had take out the trash? AMD the answer was increíble! : we don't know where to get it out!!! They never asked! In 15 days they never asked anything at all. No doughts , only specific things of THEIR interest, not even about dogs. When we returned the pools were completely green. They never told me it was turning green. They had no idea about the caretaker of a house. If the water is ruined, the first thing you do if you're not sure what to do is at least ASK ! 3 days before returning due to lack of pressure, the gas central heating turned off, with 1 degree of temperature. Frerzing! They never call me to comunicate this situation. The next day they told the house cleaner, and she called me to tell me about it.. I told Sonia to turn on the air conditioning, heating option. The dogs were freezing !!! I really can't understand these guys. As I write this review I remember more unusual things. They took off a towel rack from the sink and were waiting for me to fix it. I don't understand how they manage to take it away as it had high contact glu. From the first minute they arrived I saw that there was no real connection with the animals. He only likes cats, she likes dogs more. The first day I told them that Gertrud couldn't run much because she has osteoarthritis. And please not demand her physically. And what happened? Gertrud and Charly loves to play with the ball, they can play 24 hs non stop. But Kay may be in order to make them excercise, play too much. And Gertrud ended up destroyed. and with a lot of pain.. he cries at night. And finish in the veterinary when we were black. Frida revenge with pee or pooo every day, as they slept on the living room. And were no taken to the main room. I think the are Good persons but These guys have no idea about dogs. and house care. Kay loves cats. So if you have a cat in an apartment may be they are great. But it didnt work for us, my husband was furious.

We are happy to give this 5-star sitting to Laura, with whom we had a nice bond since the first video call. We loved the idea to host an enthusiastic cyclist traveller as we used to cycle touring in the past, too. Her passion to cat is genuine and evident. Communication was flawless from the first to the last day, and even after! She shared with us daily updates about Mila as requested, including pictures and videos. We felt very relaxed knowing Laura was looking after our beloved cat. Once back, we found a clean, tidy apartment, well maintained plants and especially a happy cat. We wouldn’t hesitate a minute to have her again at our place. If you are looking for a well organized, reliable, tidy, calm but full of beans and cat lover sitter, she is the right one! We can thoroughly recommend Urs as a house and dog-sitter. We have a rescue dog with a high prey drive and Urs was very calm and relaxed around her and prepared to be firm with her if she encountered a cat or squirrel. Urs arrived punctually with us the day before our departure and took on board all the information I, as a nervous pet parent, left for him. While we were away he let us know each day, with some pictures too, that they were both ok, and I'm glad he got to see some of the local area too. It was an exceptionally hot time of the year, but Urs ensured Maisie was safe from the heat. When we arrived home the house was extremely clean and tidy and Urs gave us a de-brief before heading home himself. We very much enjoyed meeting Urs who has a lovely personality and really enjoys travelling and house sitting. Most importantly, we felt able to totally relax knowing Urs was looking after everything back home. 100% recommend.

Susan did a wonderful job with our two cats. We were able to host her for two extra days to help with her travel plans, and the cats enjoyed her company during that time. I fully recommend her for future sits.

This is probably the hardest review I will ever write. My beloved kitty Boulis passed away on the last day of Edyta's sit. This was a very traumatic experience both for her and me and I truly struggled to leave this review :-( However, I need to do justice to her and the care she took of my babies. Edyta has been very organized and regularly updated me with messages and pictures throughout the sit and I knew that everything was fine. Until the last day of course, when Boulis started to feel unwell and it all evolved rapidly. I was thankfully able to be back home early and rush him to a clinic, but they couldn't do much and my wonderful kitty was forever gone before I realized. Edyta remained beside me the whole time and she was a great support for me in this devastating time. I know she was taking good care of Boulis & Angie, we also had one videocall while I was away, apart for the updates she provided. On the last day of her sit, she cancelled a boat trip just to stay beside Boulis until I was there. Edyta is a lovely person and for sure did everything in her power to give my babies what they needed & I am thankful for that. Boulis is missed everyday and will always be loved deeply 💜

Marlene was a pleasure to meet and get to know in the short overlap time we had to meet. We had interesting and stimulating conversation topics before I left. She's committed to the sit date although she had knee problems and appeared at the door with crutches! Fluffies seemed happy (seeing the photos she sent) as we kept in contact with each other. Very self sufficient as she brought all the things she needed with her. She left the apartment as if she was never there, clean and tidy like on the day we met. Would recommend to have her sit again. Thanks Marlene and your welcomed any time if you want to visit again.

Alex and her family were fantastic pet sitters. We have two cats, one of whom is usually very afraid of men so we were a bit sceptic in the beginning but it turned out that male Alex obviously has a very calm energy and didn't scare Rosa at all. Their adorable daughter fell in love with both cats and was caressing them a lot which they obviously enjoyed a lot. We received regular sweet updates with fotos and videos and in general the communication was very good. The house and the garden were looking fantastic when we came back home and it was obvious that they appreciated and took care of the place as if it was their own. I highly recommend Alex and family as house sitters and would invite them again any time. Thanks very much to all of you for being here!

Marcel was a truly exceptional house sitter. He was so friendly and easygoing - was totally self sufficient throughout the sit. He was incredibly flexible and made our holiday planning completely stress free. We came home to an absolutely spotless and tidy house and a super chilled out cat! I have no hesitation in recommending Marcel as a house sitter and would have him back in a heartbeat.
