As I was in the area, I visited Sue prior to my dates and met Gusy and Nuri. Sue had already informed me that Gusy was a rescue dog and he was very skittish with visitors. It took a couple of days before he would let me pat him and put his lead on but in the end he was so much better. Sue and I kept in touch before my dates and during my stay I let her know how he was going. No problem with Nuri, she just loved her cuddles. Sue has a lovely unit and the area around her is surrounded by mountains and its just beautiful. Handy to lots of interesting places. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any future house-sitters for Sue, Gusy and Nuri.
Anne and Carl were amazing hosts and their home is absolutely beautiful. We had amazing weather during our stay; Charlie and Piper loved being outdoors with us - going on walks and playing in the yard. Charlie and Piper get along very well and were so loving to us during our visit. They were both very easy to care for and warmed up to us almost instantly. Piper will lead the way to show you her favorite walks in her beautiful neighborhood! We can’t wait to return to spend more time with the girls! 🐶
I would highly recommend this house sit. The condo is clean, comfortable and nicely maintained. It is located in the heart of Evanston with a beautiful northern view of Lake Michigan. Michael was a gracious host and ensured that we had everything we needed. He was also well organized, which provided smooth transitions between coming and going. His cats are very good, easy to provide for and fun to play with. I have fond memories of playing with the cats, spending time in the condo, and walking around Evanston. I would encourage anyone to apply for future house sits.
Staying for a week in the house by the lake was a great treat. Janet and Chris are such welcoming hosts, and the cats and Molly the dog were well behaved and fun to look after. The house and surrounding grounds are beautiful, and there are many interesting places to visit nearby - in particular, Stourhead and the Newt in Somerset woodlands and gardens. Altogether I had a wonderful time and would happily repeat the experience. Thank you so much!
I loved watching Jack and staying at Laura’s place! The apartment was an ideal location for me and I loved the neighborhood! Super convenient right next to the G train with lots of good restaurants in the area and a great grocery store right across the street! Laura was super cool and very communicative and made sure I had all the info I needed to watch Jack. Jack was so well-behaved and such a sweet boy and I loved spending time with him. Would recommend this sit to anyone and would watch Jack again!
Josh and Rebecca opened there guest house to me. This gave plenty of space for their four friendly little dogs to stretch their legs and stay active. They have a great outdoor space in the backyard which plenty of shaded area which allowed for cool outings for me and the canines throughout my stay. They gave clear, concise instructions that were easy to follow. There was no questions are issues that were unanticipated, but if there had been, Josh and Rebecca were always in close communication. I would recommend sitting for this couple and their four fantastic furry friends anytime.
