This was a very relaxed sit! Carla and Pat gave me a great walk through their beautiful home & backyard oasis. My goodness the dogs are beautiful. Older in age, set in their ways - but full of fun when the ball is brought out to play. The interaction of these two German Shepards is sweet & funny. They listen to commands. I am still in awe of these lovely doggos.
I REALLY enjoyed sitting for Miso and Porter. Miso is fairly independent, only wanting to be pet/nuzzled occasionally and Porter is an absolute love bug who was pretty much my shadow the entire week. Both were very easy to care for and a lot of fun. The house is fairly remote but extremely cozy and the surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous. Marshall is a very cool town and in close proximity to Asheville. My communication with Laura was always very pleasant and all instructions very clear. I would highly recommend this sit to anyone looking to decompress and spend a little quiet time in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
Val & Barrie are lovely hosts who welcomed us into their home like old friends the day before they lefts for their holiday. We had a delicious evening meal and chatted for hours getting to know each other. Bosie & Jazz were perfect 4 legged friends. Jazz is an independent lady but isn't shy about letting you know when she wants to be fed or stroked. Bosie is a loving retriever who loves her walks and cuddles, she was the perfect tour guide to take us on all the wonderful places to visit in this beautiful part of Devon. She is rather enthusiastic on her lead so a strong grip is needed! 10/10 sit and one we definitely recommend and would love to return too.
Nice people have nice pets, and very nice people have very nice cats! Both Bruno and Borat are super easy cats. Sweet siblings, gentle, quiet, playful if they want, love cuddles when they want it :) I have a weakness for ginger cats, so I fell in love with Bruno immediately. Borat is an unusual cat, though, and he won my heart quickly, too! He actually looks like Borat :) I love when cats sleep on the bed with me and Bruno did all the time! Yay! Beware, he's purring can make you fall asleep in the morning again for the next hour or so! :))) The flat is fantastically decorated, with many interesting elements, as if you are visiting the museum of creativity. Very cosy as well, and those views! Aww. Alexa and Andy are super hosts, hospitable and caring, and definitely have a great sense of humour to decorate their home so cool! I’d be happy to come back any time! I can cat-sit with Borat and Bruno even when you are there! Lol :) Take care XO
We have had a wonderful weekend. Toby is full of energy and always ready for games and long walks, but he also enjoy calm moments at home. Comunication with Andrew is excellent and the house is confortable and equipped with whatever you may need. The town and surroundings is calm and beautiful. We will definetly come back to look after Toby!
I had a wonderful time staying in Shelby’s home and caring for May and Avett. The home is lovely, Shelby was very communicative and made sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable and take care of the dogs. May and Avett are incredibly sweet and gentle, I’m going to miss cuddling with them at the end of the day! The area is beautiful, I was able to go on some hikes and Shelby gave me recommendations of pretty spots to check out. It’s a short walk into town where there’s some lovely shops and restaurants. I would happily sit again any time and hope I get the chance to come back!
