Robert and Lesley kept in touch prior to the house-sit to make sure the arrangements went smoothly. They were very welcoming on our arrival and made us feel completely at ease. They introduced us to their lovely home and to Lotte and Lulu their two cats, and after a lovely supper they showed us around the house and gave us an excellent information pack plus more helpful details before they left the next day. Robert even found time to drive us around the local area so that we could get our bearings. The house is in a lovely location, and is very well maintained with all mod cons and was very spacious, clean and tidy. They also have a lovely garden to sit in on sunny days. The arrangements went very smoothly throughout and we kept in contact during the period of our stay. Lotte and Lulu were initially very nervous but it was lovely to see them gain confidence throughout our stay and become very relaxed with us. It was an absolute joy looking after them. We would have no hesitation in returning to look after them again.
Wiley is bar none one of the best dogs we've sat for. He is super easy to walk and responds well to directions. At home, he is a big cuddler who loved spending time with us on the couch. He does tend to stay on high alert when watching cars drive pass the house, but he is one of the sweetest and most loyal dogs we've met. Molly was also super accommodating and made us feel very welcome during our stay. We highly recommend sitting for Molly and Wiley if you have the opportunity!
Me and my wife enjoyed our sit at Brads beautiful home located in a quiet neighborhood a lil bit outside of Austin. The home was very clean and Brad was a great host and available in the few moments we had questions. He had a welcome guide prepared that laid out clear instructions on the caring taking of his well behaved gentle giants Winston and Howard. Wintson and Howard were a joy to take care of and we would love to watch them again if our timeline ever aligns again. Definitely a recommended sit!
Antony and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with Mia and Emi in Chris and Carsten’s home. It was really such a relaxing time in such a beautiful home and garden. We loved taking the dogs down the road for their hike in the wilderness, and Encinitas is one of our favorite places. Mia and Emi will be dearly missed - their sweetness was present right from the get-go with Mia’s love for her toys, and Emi’s fondness for human affection. We loved our bedroom, sleeping with the sliding door open and the dogs by our side. We were very happy to stay here for almost a month, and are grateful for the whole experience. Thank you Chris and Carsten.
Matt’s house sit was fantastic! Yuki was such a character, and loved playing. Great apartment, in the most fantastic location. Would certainly help them out again in the future 😊
I enjoyed very much my time in La Rochelle. Alice was very friendly, and explained well all necessary info. Her home is super tidy and quiet. It took about 15 mins to walk to the centre of La Rochelle. Tina is a special cat, not much into cuddles, but keeping her own routines, hiding in cupboard in evenings and enjoying sun on terrace on daytime. She is lovely and all went well as Alice made it well clear before hand how to look after Tina. I highly recommend this sit to all cat people!
