Miranda came as a house sitter and left as a friend! It was such a delight to have her in our home for a while. She was great at all the usual things associated with a house sitter, but she went above and beyond when one of our goats unexpectedly fell ill while we were away. We learned that she is passionate about all living things. She approached the sit with enthusiasm and curiosity. We jokingly told her that she had a crash course in goats! She learned in a couple of months what we have slowly learned over the past 10 years! Of course Ruby the donkey became fast friends with her and Ruby is a pretty good judge of character.. Wishing Miranda all the best in her future endeavors and we hope to see her again one of these days

Jacquelyn and her son were great! She took take of our two cats and our apartment. She was responsive and always sent pictures of our kitties. Our place looked better than we left it! Highly recommend Jacquelyn.

Jennifer & Philippe

Jennifer, Phillipe and Charlotte stayed in our house in London for two weeks in June. We have two dogs that were exceptionally well looked after. The family were such wonderful, warm people who communicated well with us and were so respectful of our home and belongings. When one dog got a tick and the other was ill they took perfect care of them, treating them as lovingly as they would have their own pets, keeping us updated constantly so we didn’t worry. In addition, the house was cleaner than when we left, and they left a tray of cookies for us which was gratefully received after a day of travelling, such a lovely touch!! The dogs were content and calm when we got home, a real sign that they’d been happy, loved and walked regularly whilst we were away. We couldn’t recommend Jennifer and her family highly enough, it was another great zeewoi experience for us!! Stephanie took SUCH great care of Gonzo. She made sure to take him on an adventure every day. It put a smile on my face to receive pictures of him having fun at the beach/park/coffee shop/etc. She even made sure to restock his toys and they’re now officially his favorites. I can tell that he already misses her! Also, I was planning to have to give him a bath when I got home but she even took care of that! The house (and Gonzo lol) were spotless when I got home. Clean sheets, towels, floors vacuumed, kitchen & bathrooms spotless. I’m pretty sure it’s cleaner now than when I left. Stephanie was also very flexible and understanding when my work schedule unexpectedly changed. Her communication was perfect as well! Gonzo and I both hope she comes back to visit!

The perfect sitters! A very interesting and well travelled pair, it was so lovely to meet them before we left. Anna and Ryan looked after Huxley for 10 days. They kept Huxley occupied and well looked after - going out of the way to make sure he was healthy and well. They kept in touch, were completely self-sufficient and we came back to a clean and tidy house.

Rob & Judy

Rob and Judy looked after my two guys for a longish weekend and great with communication, cleanliness and cat care. They sent cat updates and it seems each cat selected their favorite human and received lots of scritches, snuggles and playtime. I would be happy to have them look after my cats and apartment again.

Kenna had a magic touch with my kitty, he was very comfortable with her. She communicated well and left the place with barely a trace.

Abigail is a lovely person and so polite. She was so kind to our Mitsy and Mitsy loved her cuddles with Abigail. Abigail sent us daily text messages that put our minds at ease as we really missed our girl. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in asking Abigail back to our home

Courtney was great with my pups and my house. She communicated well with me and sent photos and videos regularly. She may even be able to sit for me again next month! Honestly the pups may have been a little bummed when I walked in the door. lol. I recommend Courtney without reservation!

Lareina

Lareina and Philip were SO lovely to work with! They were easy to communicate and plan with from the start, and they provided great care for our sometimes challenging pup. Lareina sent videos for every walk and meal and it really helped us feel connected to him while we were away. They took great care of the house and everything was exactly as we left it when we came home. I would be more than happy to host Lareina and Philip again!

Gary & Linda

We are so grateful for Gary and Linda’s care for our dog Skipper and our home. Gary was easy to connect with before the sit and responsive. Gary and Linda went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and accommodate a trip change last minute due to hurricane Beryl. They even helped get us to our bus stop. They sent photo updates of Skipper regularly, with info and tidbits on where they had been taking him. This helped our son get through some missing his dog moments. They clearly prioritized Skipper their whole stay. Gary and Linda left our home even better than they found it. We would highly recommend these sitters, they were fantastic!

I truly can’t put into words how lovely Jane and Skip are as humans and wonderful house and pet sitters. This was my first time using the platform and since Jane had multiple previous reviews I really leaned on her for coaching in best practices. Jane was so organised and helpful in the run up to our trip, providing lots of helpful ideas to get the house and a house book ready. They are so easy to communicate with, savy on all platforms, and very friendly. They arrived a day before our holiday and we got the chance to spend some time together, going over the house and our pets care. Both Skip and Jane were lovely to get to know and I felt very at ease leaving every one and everything in their capable hands. During our trip they communicated how things were going and I felt very comfortable and didn’t worry one bit. We came home to a spotless house and a pot of minestrone left for us for dinner ❤️ I only wish I could entice them back every year!

We are just back from a great week in Les Houches. Tom and Laura are great communicators and the house guide is also really helpful. Both before and during the sit they gave us all the info we needed and were also veey helpful with local recommendations.

Chamonix town is an easy 10 minute bus ride or drive away. We spent most of our time in Les Houches though as it has everything you need in terms of groceries, bakeries, petrol etc and is a really lovely place to spend time.

 Sadly we didn't get to meet Twix, but Bel and Cleo were good company. Bel is extremely independent but very good at letting you know what she needs and Cleo was great fun - we really enjoyed playing with her and she loves human interaction! Both animals were very easy to look after and we had good instructions about their daily routines and habits.

Tom and Laura's home is in a beautiful location with amazing views all round. We felt it was a real treat to be there and would highly recommend this sit if you get the opportunity.  The house is newly built, extremely tastefully decorated, and very eco friendly which was an added bonus for us.

This is a wonderful place to stay at owned by great people! I'd highly recommend it. Joseph the bright orange cat is a friendly man who loves a good scratch under his chin and is as affectionate as you want him to be. Ziggy will follow you everywhere and enjoys company. She has a 6th sense when it comes to knowing you may have left her alone. She's quiet and no problems at all. 
One can walk to the shops easily and the house is nice and clean. Everything works. You'll enjoy meeting Ingrid and Eddie.

Lauren

We had a lovely time looking after Bella and Shadow. They  love a cuddle and are an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Bella is still, very much a pup, lots of energy and loves the attention, Bella is a good dog, she really likes company. Shadow is the mature and patient big sister. Shadow and Bella get along very well and are good friends. They walk well when you have 1 dog each if you are a couple, but with a little practice from TEAM CANMORE :) I walked the 2 dogs by myself and they walk very well on the lead together.  There are many areas close to the house to walk Bella and Shadow, along streams, woods or check out downtown , otherwise they travel very well in the car, if you wish to explore the endless mountain walks with the dogs.
Lauren and Chris are  well organised, very thoughtful and good communicators, they certainly know how to look after their house sitters.
Canmore is a beautiful small tourist town all year round and only 30min from Banff National park, 1hr to Lake Louise 
We wouldn’t hesitate to come back and sit with these girls!

We had a great time with Lily. She is very chill and easy to hang out with. Lily got close to Andrea (her) in less than a day and followed her around the house for cuddles. It was a great experience.

The apartment is comfortable and has a great terrace to have coffee in the morning. 

The communication with Ashley was smooth, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Kate

I loved house and pet sitting for Kate and Bronson!  Bronson is an extremely lovable older diabetic cat. He has a strict eating and insulin shot schedule, but he was very easy to take care of. The shots are very easy and he is so used to them, he doesn't even flinch.  Once he warms up to you, he loves to cuddle next to you and get petted and belly rubbed. Kate's condo is beautiful and in an excellent location!   She is very well organized and had everything I needed to make it a successful sit. Thanks again Kate, I enjoyed meeting you and Bronson!
