Kate was warm and welcoming and left written instructions about the house and Missy the cat. The house had everything you could need and Missy was no trouble at all. I just had to keep her food and water topped up and give her some affection when she asked for it. The house is in a lovely area with very frequent quick buses into Nottingham. Thank you Kate for making my first housesit so enjoyable. Highly reccommended. Oh and the garden is amazing!!
I sat for Grace, Amy, Alfie and Star for a week in January. We had a chance to meet prior to the sit and I felt at home straight away. Grace and Amy are wonderful hosts , very welcoming, kind and helpful. Communication was excellent before and during the sit and all my questions were answered quickly. We also had the opportunity to have a meal the night before they left which was lovely (and so was the bottle of wine they gave me :) ) Grace and Amy have a lovely home and it has everything you need to have a comfortable sit. It is beautifully decorated and has a great open plan kitchen diner. The sitter bedroom is very quiet and comfortable. Their home is perfectly located in Leamington Spa and you can easily walk into town and to all of the parks and gardens. There is also easy access to Warwick, Stratford Upon Avon and the beautiful Cotswolds. Now for the stars of the show ..Alfie and Star. They are adorable and very well behaved and in my opinion a pleasure to look after. They both love a good cuddle and belly rub and will happily sit next to you in from of the TV. There is also a very convenient dog flap for Star to use. They are fine on their own for a while so you can explore the area. They can be walked together (which I did) and because the walks are not too long you can walk them separately if you prefer. If you want a sit with wonderful hosts, with 2 adorable loving dogs in a great location then this is the sit for you.
I had an amazing experience sitting for Chidinma! She is truly a wonderful person and made my stay unforgettable. I was provided with an extensive guide and also she was quick to respond to all messages. Kamsi and Amarachi are lovely cats. They are chill and quite friendly once they are comfortable with you. Since I had an extended sit, I was able to see a lot of Manchester. It is a great city that I will be revisiting as soon as possible. Again, I highly recommend sitting for Kamsi and Amarachi if afforded the opportunity. Chidinma will make you feel welcome!
Waldo was a very sweet and lovable dog! We really enjoyed his energy and our daughters loved playing endless rounds of fetch with him. The house was in a great location- walking distance from a playground on a lake with a great beach and lots of quiet roads for dog walking. Communication with Chris and Janet was easy and they were very welcoming. We had a great time!
Jake is super cute and very easy to take care of. And while he is pretty chill, he loves to go on a nice walk! Our hosts were fantastic. We were shown a warm welcome as if we were family! Beautiful house, has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Thank you!
It’s not possible to feel more loved in the company of George and Henry. They’re energetic, cuddly and playful, as well as well trained and obedient. We had the most wonderful time, with fun walks in the beautiful nearby woods, and all the cuddles we could hope for back in Jamie and Denis’s comfortable home. Jamie and Denis gave us a lovely warm welcome and made us feel at home straight away. They are kind and thoughtful, and the information provided, along with a comprehensive welcome pack, is spot on. We absolutely loved taking care of George and Henry, and miss them very much. Thank you so much Jamie and Denis!
