It was a pleasure to meet Hermione and look after her beautiful cats. We enjoyed our stay at her house, with beautiful view of the city and the hills surrounding. The area is a charming Georgian village and walking distance to town, shopping and all the nice restaurants from different cultures. The pets have everything they need and happy with their "territory." Hermione has netting around garden to make sure the kitties are safe and secure. Overall a positive experience. Pet sitting for Shanna and having a great time with Baila and Baci was dreamlike! Shanna is a very kind and great woman! We had nice conversations, she's open and clear on all instructions and information that one pet sitter might need. Baila and Baci are the best duo ever! They have made every one of my days in Split filled with laughter and joy, starting from day one. They're easy to take care of and also have their own ways of clear communication with humans when they want something. They're full of trust and if you meet them, they'll get a special place in your heart! During the walks with Baila, I quickly realized how everyone notices her unique energy and is amazed by her, especially when they see how approachable she is and how happy she is to meet other people and bring a bit of brightness in their day! The apartment is perfect - so cozy + has the best view of Split! Also, everything is so close, just a few metres away: Splitska riva, old city, best coffee shops and restaurants, bus station, Marjan, port... Everything!
I had a really wonderful sit with Alan and Debbie’s sweet, sweet dogs. I loved their walks and cuddles on the sofa. I found them to be calm, affectionate and gentle companions. It was a lovely welcome and a cosy flat to stay in. Thanks for my stay!
What a nice experience me and Cosmo had :) Ali was a great communicator from the beginning, during & end. We stayed in contact via text and all arising questions were addressed promptly. Henry & Gordon couldn’t be more fun to be with, Cosmo will miss the evening ritual of playing tug with Henry! Both dogs are easy to love at first sight, happy go lucky and eager to make your smile. They love to go on long walks or visiting the dog park(s) to get the zoomies out. We had so much fun exploring the parks in the area. I was a bit nervous about caring for the fishes since I had no experiences with aquariums, but the instructions were easy to follow and any questions I had were patiently answered :) I loved everything about my stay, easy access to shopping, walking, biking and Vancouver is less then 1h away. The home is modern and stylish, but at the same time cozy and warm. I will miss having morning coffee on the porch with the dogs :) I sure hope I have an opportunity to stay again.
Sitting for Eleni was the most wonderful experience! Fistik and Fatos are such sweet cats. Fistik is the greatest cuddler whereas Fatos’ affection has to be earned a bit more. ;) The communication with Eleni went very smoothly, she always responded very quickly and tried to help us the best she could. On top of that, the location in de Pijp is fantastic. It is close to the city center but still very quiet. We would love to come back sometime!
