I couldn't be more delighted with Sheri and Kevin's exceptional service in house and pet sitting! From the moment we met, I felt completely at ease knowing my home and furry companions were in the best hands possible. The quality of care they provided for my pets exceeded my expectations. It was evident that they treated them with the same love and affection as if they were their own. Not only did they ensure my pets were fed and exercised according to their routine, but got their daily meds AND took the time to give them plenty of affection and attention. One of the things I appreciated most was how clean and tidy they kept everything. It's always a concern leaving your home in someone else's care, but Sheri and Kevin went above and beyond to maintain the cleanliness and organization of my space. Coming back to a spotless home was such a pleasant surprise. Communication was another area where Sheri and Kevin excelled. I had spotty cell service and they still managed to connect and keep me updated with photos and messages, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly and with the utmost professionalism. Overall, I can't recommend Sheri and Kevin highly enough for anyone in need of reliable, caring, and trustworthy house and pet sitters. They truly exceeded all expectations, and I would be honored to have them stay again in the future. Five stars all around!
We had a wonderful time sitting for Tracy's & Paul. Their property is beautiful and spacious and just close enough to the city that you have access to all amenities but far enough that you feel the rural charm and atmosphere of the area. Tracy's dogs and horses were very easy to care for. The pups love to love so lots of cuddles were had! They are very well behaved and we had no issues with commands or getting their attention. The Horses were wonderful as well, very great demeanor and very friendly. The sit duties were what would be expected on any similar sized property that operates as either a farm and/or ranch so the listing as well as previous experiences on similar sits were very accurate. Part of rural living is rolling with what comes from bad weather or machinery malfunction etc. Tracy and Paul were very gracious and extremely prompt with any and all communication, they answered all our questions before and during our sit.
We really enjoyed our five-day stay in Forres looking after Alfie ..... He was just the sweetest boy and a pleasure to care for. Alfie was unwell during our stay but was still such an amazing boy to be around. Thank you Katherine and Gavin for the chance to stay in your home and for letting us love Alfie as our own. Katherine and Gavin are everything you hope for in hosts, welcoming, thoughtful, and such nice people. We would not hesitate to recommend this house sit with this gentle loving little dog.
Mozie is the sweetest, most easy going, and friendly kitty. He comes and goes and it was very simple with no cat box, as he prefers to do his business outside. House is open and expansive and beautiful. Sarah was straightforward and communicative.and super easy going and kind. Would sit again any time!
It took just a little bit for Bixby to warm up, and once he did, we were besties! Kuya was also super sweet and would purr loudly when I gave her pets. Kuya & Bixby steered clear of one another mostly - they are not besties! The chickens were super easy, and despite the rain and cold, a couple of them laid eggs. Jenna was a great communicator & easy to coordinate with.
I had a lovely time during my short stay at Jen and Poppy's. Jen is generous with offering food, use of the flat, kitchen, spices, etc. as well as allowing we to stay an extra night for a meet and greet and to go over everything. Jen kindly left everything clean and tidy for me and was available via text throughout my stay. Their flat is a new build with all the mod-cons, the ensuite bedroom (which actually is the master bedroom) was comfortable and super clean. Poppy is calm, adorable and I really enjoyed watching her occasionally burst with energy and whizz around the flat; play with her and her fave toys; and “protect” her from her little male cat visitor. I'd happily sit again if the opportunity arose :)
