A Thank You to Lauren and the Story of an Ex-Reactive Rescue Dog ✨ Oh, it was such a joy to finally take my favorite rescue dog, Nessa (an 8-year-old Belgian Malinois), home after a month of walks at the shelter. It was exciting because she was our first dog ever. But after just 5 days, we started noticing serious problems: endless barking (I'm not exaggerating when I say 500 times a day), reactivity towards dogs/people/cats/birds, protective behavior, pulling on the leash, restlessness at home, uncontrollable behavior, it felt dangerous... To be honest, after 10 days, we considered bringing her back to the shelter. We felt so incapable and thought someone else could handle it better. This was not at all the dog we had dreamed of. But then came the turning point. We desperately called Lauren, who guided us from A to Z. Thanks to her help, Nessa transformed in just a few weeks into a happy, relaxed dog. I never could have dreamed back then that we would have such a wonderful dog now. She can now walk off-leash, is no longer reactive, has found peace, is super obedient, is starting to trust people, and our bond is stronger than ever. We (and our pets) love Off Collar! Lauren, Katherine, and Alyzah are so sweet with our babies. It is hard to find someone to trust with a Great Dane. They are big animals but also very sensitive and require a gentle but firm touch. Our boy is always so excited to get walked by any of them, and we’re glad to have people we can rely on to give him some company midday. Katherine also takes care of our two kittens when we are away for vacation. They are very shy, but last month, they finally came out to say hi to her, so they must have decided in the end they like her after all :) Off Collar is also very understanding of emergencies and flexible, which is hugely helpful because we have variable schedules each month.

I love Off Collar! Lauren has been amazing in coordinating and supporting my senior pup! Alyzah, my pup’s wonderful walker, is so good with him and keeps me informed if she notices anything out of the ordinary. My wife and I are happy we found Lauren and Off Collar. Our Great Pyrenees was impossible to walk, constantly barking at other dogs. We’ve had a few 1-1 sessions with Lauren to help with our reactive dog, Chloe, as well as monthly pack walks. She has been nothing short of phenomenal and has helped us so much! She taught us the skills and tools to help work with Chloe and we have seen tremendous progress! Additionally, Off Collar is our go-to for pet sitting services. Chloe absolutely adores Katherine who does a great job of making sure our pup is cared for when we are out of town. I cannot say enough about how awesome Lauren is! She helped me and my dog work through some behavioral issues recently. I was at my wits end with him and had read/watched everything I could find and nothing seemed to be making a difference. After working with Lauren she was able to help identify specific issues, signs to watch for, helped me understand exactly what my dog is trying to tell me and how I am communicating with him. She is so much fun to work with and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My boy absolutely loves her! She has a wonderful balance of fun and lightheartedness (which removed the stress and frustration we were experiencing) and deliberate corrections and commands. It was awesome to see how well my boy responded to her! I have already recommended her to my friends who were looking for a private trainer and will continue to do so! I absolutely love this company!! The first meet and greet, Kate and her colleague came to meet our puppy and go over in detail what was expected during her dog walks, training, habits etc. She also shadow her colleague on the first few days to make sure it was a smooth transition for our girl. We have been customers for almost a year now. 100% reliable, caring, pay attention to detail and my dog loves her caretakers! The best part is our work is both mental and physically tiring so to come home to a happy tired dog is worth every penny. We absolutely love Kates K9 pet service. All the dog walkers have been great and our dogs love them. The app makes it so easy to request a day and time, make payments and communicate. Kate's Pet Care is without a doubt the best I have had in the area. She is so kind and my cat and dog love her. I never have to worry when I am away that they are not getting the best care or attention, and I always get lots of updates on her app about the visits. She offers a great value for what she provides. I tried other services like Becky's Pet Care and had a few really bad experiences. I have a dog, cat, and a fish tank, and she has taken care of all of them.

Kate and her crew are absolutely wonderful. Very reliable and accommodating; they do their research and are more than willing to give individualized special care for each pet. Travis was excellent taking care of my minipig while I was away, following instructions down to a tee and making sure she got everything she needed. I didn't have to worry one bit. The report cards are great so you know how your pet is doing during each visit.

I found Kates pet sitting service after looking for a long time for someone to watch my pets. I have a dog who is very shy but super sweet and most people are scared of him, and won’t give him a chance. Kates team is super patient with him and it shows. They are very professional and I feel very comfortable leaving my pets with them which is hard for me cause they are my babies. I highly recommend them!!

Our two dogs love coming here for boarding when we have to head out of town. The team is very friendly, and the overnight boarding area has comfy beds, couches and chairs they can sleep on together. It makes us feel better knowing someone always stays with the dogs overnight, and they get outdoor walks everyday as part of their boarding package.

I cannot recommend Linda and her Two-Way team enough. I took an assignment in the area and moved from Detroit for almost 9 months with my dog. I knew nothing about the area, but I googled daycares this business and another one came up. I love two way. They are so loving and caring. There is so much sincerity and genuine love and care for our fur babies. They are super accommodating and even opened early for me one day because of work constraints. My dog Gizmo LOVES it there. We will really miss two way as we pack up to head home to Detroit. Thanks for everything Two-Way team!

If you’re looking for pet services, look no further because Two Way and the owners + staff are absolutely amazing! They are always so kind and loving to our fur babies when they take care of them. The staff is always so helpful, leaves the sweetest messages with updates, and we ADORE the pics of our pups! We have used their services for doggy daycare, overnight boarding, and dog walking. We wouldn’t trust any other pet service provider with our pups after working with Two Way! We love the free-roam daycare, the cozy overnight space, and the love that the staff shows our pups. You can tell everyone truly cares for your pets and shows them all the love you’d show your own pets!

I cannot say enough good things about Two Way! My dog has been coming to Two Way for daycare for two years now and I couldn’t be more pleased. If you are going through the important choice of where to take your fur baby, I would wholeheartedly recommend Two Way. There are so many things I love about this group. 1. They love my dog as their own (and he is a 70 pound big boy so can be difficult to love at times). 2. They aren’t a chain. I have taken my dog to a chain that is less than a block away from Two Way - and the best thing about doing that was realizing how special Two Way is. 3. They don’t use kennels or crates which is great since my dog can get anxious and have accidents in crates. 4. They communicate! Their portal is easy to use and they respond pretty quickly. They also let you know if anything is going on with your dog or anything else and they are proactive about communication as well. 5. They are affordable! Well no dog care is as affordable as I would like, but they are the best in the area after extensive research. 6. They don’t separate the dogs by size which has helped my dog learn how to socialize with dogs of all sizes. Also the people who watch after them play with them and keep them entertained too. 7. They have cameras. So I can watch him play while I am at work. 8. They have great hours for drop off and pickup. 9. They really treat you like a person and give so much understanding to you - not just your dog. My dog is always SO excited to go here and knowing he is safe and cared for by great people makes it much easier to leave him. Please try them out - you won’t be disappointed!

I can not say enough about the TWO WAY DOG Walking family, they are amazing, where they are located at, I live in the apartment building. They are always super supportive with my dog and love on him and care for him like he is one of their own. I went through some hard family issues and situations and they not only cared for my dog but showed care and concern for trying to make it easier on me to care for my kids and keep care for my fur baby. Two-Way Dog Walking has done an amazing job with our boy Tiger. We rescued Tiger in 2019 and he had so many issues that the Doggie Care has helped Tiger work through. Linda and her staff are outstanding, we cannot praise this Team of caregivers enough.

I’ve been sending my dog (who is by no means easy to care for) to Two Way for a little less than 2 years and I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff! I appreciate the use of the online portal to ask questions, making bookings, and paying for invoices. I also love that Two Way includes a walk and medication administration in the price of the overnight bookings. Other local boarding options charge extra for these things and it makes me sad that anyone would nickle-and-dime me for the basic needs of my pet to be met. I also appreciate that their scheduling is so flexible, especially the availing to do “after hours” pick ups within reason. Other establishments in the neighborhood are super strict with their pickup timeline. Two Way has also gone ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure my dog’s health and safety is of utmost importance in all of his stays. Long story short, my boy is leash reactive and one time ran off while in Two Way’s care. The way the owner handled the situation made me a dedicated customer with zero hesitation to bring him back after this freak accident out of anyone’s control. After I returned home from my trip, the owner personally drove me and my pet to the nearest vet to rule out any injuries and checked in so many times. It’s abundantly clear to me that Two Way’s owner truly loves the pets in their care and will go the extra mile to maintain and reassure a loyal customer. For the last year since, his caretakers always reassure me that he’s walked alone and never hesitate to give me status updates on my boy. If I could give Two Way more than 5 stars, I truly would! I hesitated to write this review because I don’t want to paint Two Way in any negative light - I just figured my story is illustrative of the fact that this boarding facility is top notch and cares so much about the pets in its care.

Two Way Dog Walking is hands down the best dog daycare in the DMV. We have been sending our dog Bear to Two Way’s daycare every week day for the last 2+ years, since he was 4.5 months old, and they’ve truly become his second family. Linda, Vernon, and the rest of the Two Way team are incredible, and love your pets as if they were their own. Two Way is great with communication in even the smallest of situations and can always be reached- the genuine care and attention they give each dog cannot be found elsewhere. During overnights the pups aren’t stuck in a kennel, which is crucial for dogs who prefer human company too! Two Way has been so amazing for Bear that we have family, friends, and neighbors that now send their dogs to Two Way too! We found Two Way Dog Walking from reviews like these, and sharing our own amazing experience with them is long overdue! Like others searching for a doggy daycare, our dog is the center of our lives. When he's not with us, we need him to be safe, happy, and loved. During the 45+ hours a week Bear spends at Two Way daycare, we know he is safe, happy, and loved.

Absolutely love Two Way Pet Services! They are flipping awesome. They have a large playroom for all the dogs. You can watch on their CCTV Webcam. They also offer OVERNIGHT stays! Your fur baby is NEVER alone. I have a VERY HYPER, 1 year old, 50 lb, Dobie mix. She has been going 2x weekly since she was about 4 months. Recently she had to be quarantined for 6 weeks. What a horrible time we had without Two Way. I saw the difference in her behavior almost immediately. They help her get rid of any pent up energy in a safe, fun environment. The dogs are NOT in kennels. They are under constant supervision. Playing and just running around, enjoying life. The staff is simply wonderful. They are also doing some renovations , so it will be even better than before. Highly, highly recommend them. Linda and Melissa, great job!

Such a great service! They send the cutest updates and admittedly I thought the cameras were an overkill, but it’s honestly so fun to check in on the pup when we’re out of town. Highly recommend!

We were hopeful when we discovered The Board Hound. But. Today we were told our 9 month old pup couldn’t come back for a month because he was too energetic and didn’t know how to take cues from other dogs to chill out. He had been out for three weeks for surgery—a cyst removal and neutering. We had to keep him calm during that entire time and so today he was super excited to return. They said he had “too much testosterone” still. But they’d never said that before his surgery, so how is it that after surgery he has too much? Further, the reason we took him to The Board Hound in the first place was so he could learn to play well with other dogs and we were led to believe they could help. Indeed, they said they were teaching him to “take a break.” He is NOT aggressive; he’s been quite good with much smaller, younger pups and older dogs, even a cat. I guess, however, they decided they’re not up to the task of dealing with a 52 pound, energetic puppy who hasn’t been able to play for awhile due to surgery. And this after we gave glowing reviews to other people. We’ll have to go back and amend our reviews now.

I am thoroughly impressed and pleased with the team at The Board Hound. The puppy play parties and training classes have been excellent. The team ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Both of my dogs have attending puppy party, have gone through training there and I truly couldn’t be happier. The training has really helped our relationship with our dogs. The staff is fantastic, and Mary goes above and beyond every single encounter and always ensures we walk away with more understanding of our dogs. One of the only locations I would board my dogs. Couldn’t recommend more.

This is the most fantastic place. My Akita pup loves it. She has no off switch when she is around other pups but their STEPS program worked with her and did just the thing to occupy her mind and body.

My girlfriend and I at the time were pretty crunched on time to find a doggy day care and puppy social classes. Low and behold, we came upon The Board Hound in Old Town. We set up a meeting to do a day care for the evaluation. We absolutely loved their honesty and recommendations. As soon as they had openings for doggy day care and our pups passed the vaccination requirements, we immediately booked in advance. The Board Hound is personal, knowledgeable, understanding and caring. They work with you and your schedule and communication is top notch. Arianna has been absolutely amazing in communication with our pups and all of the in-house trainers with STEPP have been phenomenal! Highly recommend!!

This is a great facility and I am continuously impressed with it. They have been accommodating of my two dogs with special needs. My one with anxiety is relaxed and happy with the staff. And I feel comfortable leaving my epileptic dog there as the staff keep her medicines safe and accessible, and really listened to all of my instructions on what to do in case of a seizure. It's also very clean and daycare booking has been really easy. My dogs are always excited to go and tired out when they come back, which is great.

Caring and knowledgeable team that takes great care of our dog. Great mix of educational daycare, owner-dog classes and supervised free play. A better behaved and tired puppy is the result.

The staff is amazing and truly cares about the dogs! Our dog always drags us in the building and runs on to the floor with the other dogs. Staff is always able to and willing to tell us about her day, who she played with, and what she likes to do during the day. They also make sure she gets the care and attention she needs. Once registered at Old Town you can also go to their other location for daycare and boarding, wich we have found very helpful! The Board Hound is the place to go for any daycare or boaridng needs.

District Pet Care is simply the best. Our vet recommended them, and we couldn’t be happier. Jackie and her team are great petsitters, and they have always gone above and beyond for us and our cat. When our baby arrived earlier than expected, for example, we texted Jackie from the hospital and she rearranged her schedule to take care of our cat even though it was a holiday. More recently, Henry arrived at our house while we were on vacation and found that the lock was sticking and he couldn’t get in. He finally got the door open after lots of effort and a trip home to get WD40. Without making a big deal about it, Henry spent hours of his time ensuring that our cat got fed, and he saved us lots of anxiety and an expensive locksmith call. Even when they’re not saving us from disasters, District Pet Care sitters do a great job—they are reliable, send pictures every day, and make sure our cat has everything he needs. Another great benefit is that Jackie has medical training and is able to administer shots and medications. She comes once a month to give our cat an injection, and she keeps track of the schedule for us and is so flexible and friendly. It’s always a joy to see her! In short, Jackie and her team are amazing. Your pet will be in the best hands if you hire them!

Jackie has taken care of my cat twice now, while I have been away for a week at a time. She does a great job! She is very professional and very good with my cat. Very highly recommend Jackie! Super sweet and reliable. When we returned home everything was spotless and our cats were happy and relaxed. She provides daily updates with photos which is greatly appreciated, plus she brought up our mail and watered our plants. Took our pup here for his orientation/first day and was impressed with Kevin and the rest of the staff. They're professional, friendly and clearly love dogs. You get to observe how your pooch is introduced to the rest of the pack and can watch as long as you want! Picked him up at the end of the day and he had clearly burned off some energy :) Already booked him for boarding and will definitely bring him back to play with his new friends for the day. Very happy to have found a place where I know he's in good hands.

I really can’t say enough good things about Kevin & the training staff at YDBF - we were so lucky to find them. Our rescue pittie mix was well trained in the basics but fearful of other dogs - given her size and breed, it was a challenge to find a trainer willing to work with us. Kevin was awesome helping our girl get comfortable around other dogs and teaching us how we could help her. He was also did an awesome job answering all of our questions and working with other behaviors around the house. We also found prices very reasonable given all of 1 on 1 time he spent with us. We highly recommend Kevin to anyone looking to train their pups in skills big or small.

Head trainer Kevin was incredibly welcoming to us and our socially anxious dog. We were able to bring our dog by for a soft, 30min trial to make sure our dog would be ok with the other dogs and new environment. Today was a successful first full day. They have a room with one-way windows that you can watch the play pen from. Staff were friendly, seem to really love the dogs, and appeared to know most of the dogs by name. We’re grateful to have this doggy daycare in the neighborhood!

We have been taking our pup Fred here for a long time and the staff is phenomenal. I highly recommend getting your dog groomed here. The prices are not bad and the groomers are perfect. I have not used their boarding/ daycare services yet but I will use them in the future.

YDBF has been a great resource for me as a dog foster parent. Some of my fosters have not been good candidates for the dog park despite wanting to be social with other dogs. The dogs are always eager to go and tired when they come home, like my foster Jack, who usually slept for 10-12 hours (except for a quick pee break or two) after a day at playcare getting supervised socialization. Now, he's in his forever home with canine siblings, and happy as can be. Jack's behavior at YDBF let us know he could be placed in a home with other dogs without worry. And I'm really thankful I have YDBF available for my fosters. The dogs have a great time. They're supervised. The staff will note their behavior and let you know how your dog behaved. It's been all positive experiences, and I cannot recommend them enough.

Today was our first day here for daycare. I was so impressed by the lead trainer, Kevin and all of the staff were very kind and welcoming. They made me feel very comfortable despite my hesitations with the process. My rescue doodle pup had fun, socialized, made a best friend he played with for 45 minutes, and came home exhausted. The staff was very responsive to cleaning up messes and stopping borderline behaviors of other dogs while I observed the orientation. Can't wait to send him back for more dog fun.

The best day care and grooming in northern VA! We continue to use their services since moving into DC. Even if we haven’t gone in a while, the staff still know our pup by name and we love the grooming staff. Very knowledgeable and attentive to our pups needs!!

Emailed on August 21 to book a grooming appointment and the earlies they had available was September 5. Front desk staff asked for updated vaccines and I provided them and requested that she also be booked in for daycare that day since I am flying out for a work trip, and my mother could pick her up after she gets off work in the evening. Brought my dog in the day of the appointment and sometime between when I booked the appointment and dropped her off their policy had changed and they needed an additional vaccine. This was not told to me in the initial email exchange nor via a phone call. They would not take her into daycare, but told me they could "set up a small section of the grooming room" to keep her in until my mother could pick her up. I'm highly disappointed and stressed out that I am out dog care for the day, at the very last minute, on the day that I am flying out on a work trip. Do better.

I have been going here for years and they take such great care of the dogs, who they treat as family. My dog was boarding here this weekend while i was out of town and she had a health emergency. I didn't know what to do but the staff was great and went above and beyond to make sure she was okay. They drove her an emergency vet late in the evening, after closing hours, and waited on call late at night to hear from the doctor. She had to stay overnight in the hospital and the staff picked her up the next day (shout out to Yolanda for driving back and forth and being so responsive to my calls). They made me feel so much better knowing my dog was in such great hands and with people who care about her!

I brought my dog here cause the reviews were great. After about a week my dog was shaking every time we pulled up. She didn’t wanna go inside and when I addressed the staff about it they said she’s probably just “tired”. Come to find out they don’t verify vaccinations and one of the dogs at the daycare was not vaccinated for distemper and ended up passing it to mine. She died 3 days later. Due to the staff being EXTREMELY disrespectful and ignoring my pleas for help, I decided to address the owner. He was NO help at all. He was rude and offensive and told me that because of my ethnicity he would not make a big deal about MY dog dying in HIS establishment. These were his exact words. If you’re thinking about bringing your dog here, don’t. The owner was very unprofessional and you could tell he did not care for his clientele. 0/10 recommend.

This team takes fantastic care of my senior dog, and has always been able to squeeze us in even when my work schedule gets unpredictable! I love the thorough updates and photos they send after every visit to walk my dog, and I feel very confident that she will be well cared for by anyone who works for Alexandria Pet Care. I can not say enough good things about the team at Alexandria Pet Care. I have the pleasure of being both a client and a supplier for them. They take amazing care of our three crazy, goofy, four legged kids. If we have special needs, instructions or requests they always take care to help with them. Alexandria Pet Care has been so helpful for our dog. We scheduled 4 in home one-on-one sessions for our newly adopted puppy last year and it was so helpful for her. She was reactive towards other dogs and people but after just one session our dog made so much progress. Alex, the trainer, also taught us the best way to help with her anxiety and how to continue making progress with her after our 4 sessions were completed. Alex has also been helpful answering questions via email since our sessions have ended, and at no charge.

My husband and I recently moved to the Navy Yard area with our 2 cats. We travel frequently, and finding someone new to care for them was a huge stress for us. We selected Saving Grace because of their reviews, and we have not been disappointed. We have used them on three separate occasions, and all three times, Paul Weiss was the caregiver. He leaves daily notes and will send photos if requested. Our most recent trip was two weeks long, and he watered our plants and freshened the litter box. I've used Saving Grace Petcare for almost a year now to care for my cat while I'm out of town. They truly are a saving grace! I don't know what I would do without a neighborhood petsitting group like this one. Very easy to drop off my keys before leaving town and they take care of everything. We have had wonderful experiences with Saving Grace dogwalking and boarding services. Our dogwalker, Selena, is the best! She is very reliable and leaves us notes each day to let us know how the walk was. She was especially wonderful in working with us on special requests when our senior dog was quite ill. We now have a young dog and she is very patient as he learns his puppy manners! Saving Grace has also been a great service for pet-sitting, even over longer holiday trips! Our pets have always been very well-cared for with SG services! Highly recommend if you have pets in the Capitol Hill area!

I've used Saving Grace for cat sitting for at least the last three years. It's almost always the same woman who comes and visits, and my normally shy tuxedo has developed quite a fondness for her. Great service, can't recommend enough.

Really easy, web-based services that are perfect for helping busy people arrange pet care. I got daily updates with photos letting me know how my pet was doing while I traveled, and the pet sitter, Nancy, did an awesome job making the effort to connect with my pet and keep me in the loop. I am providing this rating because of Buster's dog walker - Aaron. He is the best! He takes extra time with Buster, he carries him down the block to ensure that he gets a walk rather than taking him out and bringing him right back in. We are fortunate to have Aaron as Buster's walker!

I've been using saving grace for two years now and have never had an issue. The staff are friendly and always leave a helpful note with a summary of the walk. I would recommend them to anyone.

We love this service! They took excellent care of our guinea pigs while we were in Europe. Guinea pigs require lots of special care, including a diet with nutritional and vitamin needs, fresh vegetables, fresh water, unlimited hay for digestion, and daily/weekly cage cleanings. Passionately Pets did a stellar job at caring for our furry little friends. Their daily pet journal with photos and special notes on their visits with our pets was a fantastic way to see and read about how our fur potatoes were doing. Their prices were very reasonable, their care was top quality, and their customer service was the best. They also took care of a few other services such as bringing in mail and packages, bringing in the trash cans, and turning off/on lights in the house while we were gone to give the house a "lived-in" appearance while we were gone. On a special note, our pet caretaker was even concerned enough to run to the grocery store to pick up some fresh veggies for our pigs when he ran out. We loved Passionately Pets service and felt our pets were in competent hands. We have used Passionately Pets during two vacations and know that we can trust their services to care for our precious furry little buddies in the furure

Passionately Pets is amazing! We have a tiny puppy and they are the only ones we could find that were willing to come twice per day to let him out for potty breaks and a walk. Plus, they have the same person come most days, which is better for my puppy - rather than always having to meet someone new. They send updates after each walk and the pics are adorable. I trust them completely and would not use anyone else!

Passionately pets has been the best decision we have made since moving back to Arlington. They have been outstanding with meeting our needs and leaving us feeling reassured about getting out of town for a few days as we have a cat that has specific medical needs. Alex has visited our home twice and has done a fantastic job providing real time feedback while we are away. Jenna and Vanna have both been terrific to work with as well. I had a GREAT experience with Passionately Pets! I left for a long weekend and was very nervous to leave my new rescue pup with a stranger, but Ashley (our dog sitter) was wonderful! She came and met my dog before I went away and sent detailed reports and pictures from every visit. My dog can be wary of strangers, but he absolutely adored Ashley. Our neighbors had a little party one night and she even thought to turn on soothing music for him to drown out the scary sounds so he could sleep peacefully. I am so glad to finally find a place I can trust to walk/watch my dogs! Can't recommend them enough!

Vanna just stayed with our dog, Marty for two nights with pop-ins during the day while we went out of town for a wedding. I was nervous because we've always had family watch our pets but we recently moved here from out of state so that's no longer an option. Passionately Pets was very responsive to my initial inquiry and set up a meet and greet before I booked the service. Vanna walked me through their different services, patiently answered all of my many questions, and went through the profile I set up for Marty. Vanna ended up also being Marty's sitter for the weekend and did a phenomenal job. She sent pictures and updates throughout the weekend and when we arrived home he was happy and had clearly been well cared for. Marty is still a young dog with puppy energy and is not used to being left for more than 6-7 hours at a time (and never overnight) so I booked the Deluxe Overnight package plus a midday visit each day. The pricing was as advertised on their website. I'm not sure how the cost compares to competitors, but considering that it accounts for 13+ hours/day of time, I thought it was totally worth it for the peace of mind and standard of care that Vanna delivered. 100% I would recommend and will be using Passionately Pets again.

Passionately pets are truly amazing. I’m not sure how they do it (probably great training) but we have had many different sitters from them over the years and each one is fantastic! We never have to worry that our cats are well cared for while we are out of town- they give lots of playtime and love in addition to feeding. The management team is also amazing- helping us find last minute sitters and even having options as we prepared to welcome our daughter. I cant say enough good things about Passionately Pets!

I went out of town for a few days and this was my first time booking through Passionately Pets based on a referral. From the consultation to the actual pet sitting service, everything was seamless. Great communication, friendly service, plenty of pictures, and my cat was taken great care of! Olivia did a great job. I will definitely book again when necessary.

Yeah, it's a no for me, dawg. I took my dog to Fur-Get Me Not on Monday, December 9 at 3:15 PM for a daycare evaluation. Upon entry, I wasn't greeted particularly warmly by the front desk staff, but they did direct me to the person who would be completing my dog's evaluation. As the staff member, Christopher, who was actually completing my dog's evaluation was friendly and inviting, I did not think too much about the front desk staff. The evaluation cost $25 and it took about 20 minutes. Christopher took my dog to the back and had her meet other dogs and staff members. When the evaluation was over, he informed me that she had passed and answered most of my questions. I asked him what the pricing was for daycare, because it was not listed on the FAQ page that he provided me. He told me he didn't know, but that the front desk staff would be able to answer my question. After wrapping up to the evaluation, I walked over to the front desk to inquire about pricing for daycare. Keep in mind that while this is a full-service dog care facility, it seems that the main service-- or at least one of the most popular services-- that this facility provides is dog daycare. I asked the woman sitting at the desk about pricing. She told me something along the lines of, "we don't have the pricing listed on the brochure, but it is online." I then asked if she could just tell me the pricing. (I'm literally standing at the front desk at this point where they are supposed to answer questions about their services-- wouldn't you just tell me the price instead of directing me to go look it up for myself?!) She then responds "for what?!" with an mistakable air of annoyance. Now, I would expect a front desk staff member to say something like, "sure, for which service?" The way she phrased her question seems like I was bothering her. I responded "for daycare" and then, she said "well let me just pull up the website and look..." The entire interaction was odd, like she was doing me a favor by providing pertinent info about the business at which she works. Also, why there isn't signage with the pricing for daycare at the front desk, who knows? I do know one thing though: if you act like I'm bothering you by asking you to do things within the scope of your job, I won't bother to spend my coins.

My dog loves it here! He always has the best day and is exhausted when he gets home lol. I love that they do cute activities for the holidays, make training recommendations when needed, and have pretty much everything you need. I love how they divide the groups based on size, temperament, etc, because our last daycare just put all dogs together in one big group, which was overstimulating for him at times. I can’t recommend them enough and every staff member has been SO sweet and helpful.

I can't say enough good things about the dog training classes here! Before we started training, my dog was extremely reactive to other dogs, making walks and outings very stressful. After attending Julie’s and Malia’s classes, I've seen such a transformation in my dog's behavior. Julie and Malia are incredibly patient and knowledgeable, and they gave me the tools I needed to help my dog stay calm and focused, even around other dogs. My dog is able to attend daycare without any behavior issues and even plays with other dogs. She is still introverted and barks from time to time, but it’s much more manageable now. On top of that, my dog has always been very fearful of loud noises, which made everyday situations challenging, especially living in the city with all trains, airplanes, and traffic. Thanks to the confidence-building exercises we learned, I've noticed a huge improvement in how she handles her fears. She’s still afraid of thunderstorms and car rides though. However, the most important lessons I learned from the classes are how to identify my dog’s triggers and knowing how to best support her through those challenges. It’s made our bond much stronger now.

I am so grateful to the whole team at Fur-Get Me Not for the amazing care that my dogs have received there. We’ve done training, daycare, and boarding, and always had a great experience. Definitely recommend.

I have a dog, Ari, with behavioral and medical issues, specifically the canine version of ADHD (low frustration tolerance, poor impulse control, the attention span of a space cadet), anxiety and diabetes insipidus, which exacerbated his anxiety. When Ari was a pup, his behavior got so bad that I considered giving him back to his rescue but was nervous he'd bite a less understanding person and be put down. (He's a cattle dog. They nip. He was nipping A LOT with little inhibition.) While I was waiting to get an appointment with ABWC, we started doing 1:1 training at Fur-Get Me Not (FMN), and then moved to impulse control classes, drastically improving his behavior, which proper medication helped support. Anyway... I moved Ari to FMN daycare after I noticed how upset he was being dropped off at our last daycare — and after having to extract from staff that he was having ADHD-typical "toddler meltdowns" during the day from overstimulation, during which he'd bark and nip, so he'd end up in "time out" for large portions of the day. (Why didn't they tell me!?) FMN daycare's structured environment with a midday treat and the option to add on the 1:1 attention time Ari needs to have a lower anxiety experience make all the difference. With their detailed report cards, I know if he needs more X or less Y to achieve his best behavior. And midday snuggles help him a lot. Highly recommend!

I first came across furget-me-not training when I was looking for fun classes my dog and I could take on the weekends. My interest was piqued at their Reactive Dogs classes, since I knew it took a special type of understanding and expertise to work with reactive dogs. So I signed up my dog, Arnold, him being a reactive dog. Over the course of the 6 weeks, we were able to feel really reassured that our years of training and work was going in the right direction. I was really appreciative of how patient, kind, and knowledgeable Juliet and Malia were during each class. They were also flexible and attentive to each student - when they saw Arnold was already comfortable with some skills, they would give us helpful tips on how to make it more challenging or purposefully give us opportunities to challenge Arnold a bit more. We were more than happy to practice some skills we already knew in a live classroom AND learn new ones with other dogs in a controlled environment. The tools Juliet and Malia gave us are now engrained in us, and I can genuinely say that it has helped Arnold improve in just 6 short weeks - I haven’t seen this rate of improvement in him over the YEARS we have been practicing on our own. Just the other week, he had absolute no reaction to people cleaning our home, when 6 weeks ago he was barking his head off at them. I feel much more confident in my skills as Arnold’s mom and handler, and I also feel closer and more understanding of my dog. I have been recommending furget-me-not training to several friends, and I stand by it. They know their stuff. I can’t wait to come back for Reactive 2 and explore the other classes that can really help us and Arnold learn the tools and skills that will help him shine and be the best version of himself no matter the challenge! I love that when I drop my puppy off for daycare, her tail starts wagging before I even park the car. The staff greets her by name with lots of pets and attention. She comes home a tired and happy pup. The staff has been very flexible, accommodating and helpful. I definitely recommend this daycare to others.

Not really feasible. We dropped our Huskey here a couple of times, but one employee insisted that we only only bring him on weekends simply because he barked too much at pickup times. This was despite our dog getting stellar behavior comments from the other employees. We explained that he was vocal because it is a standard huskey characteristic, but he simply did not like our dog. Upon further questioning, we determined that he did not even read the directions we left with our dog and did not even know the dog's gender despite multiple corrections. Weekend daycare is useless to us and we have no time for flaky sensitive employees. We use the place down the road now.

In an area with so many daycare/boarding options I can imagine its difficult to compete however Fur-Get Me Not has won us over. Two months of day care, a full week of boarding, and a great consultation experience. Its team is always open to questions we may have and its nice to see a variety of interactive toys locally. I truly believe the environment here has helped our younger dog come out of her shell and be more social. Highly recommend.

They have been very good to my dog and I really appreciate how much they communicate with dog owners. I think if you're looking for a place that will make you feel better about leaving your dog for daycare or boarding, this is the place.

Top Dogg is great! My dog Chloe warmed up to Jonis faster than any other human ever. Since then he’s expanded his team, and they are always reliable, professional, and kind. Sometimes we help watch a friend’s dog, too, and Top Dogg is super flexible about adding an extra dog to the schedule.
