What an amazing home, location but most especially, the dogs! Guinness and Kona are intelligent, gentle companions who made me feel welcome and protected. They are very food motivated and for Guinness, a close second is the kong! Beware though, Kona will steal it and take it into his chalet. :) The location is a bit remote but there is public transportation and a corner store about a 15 minute walk away that has awesome ice cream.
Hughie and Brodie were VERY well-behaved and very affectionate. The house was quite comfortable, the area was beautiful, and there were many great restaurants and hiking trails very nearby. I would be happy to come sit with these boys again!
We loved sitting for sweet Laika. Molly's house is so nice with a great backyard and a wonderful neighborhood. The real star of the show though is Laika. If given the opportunity to sit with her, you will fall in love. She is the sweetest pup and super easy to care for. We would definitely sit for Laika again.
Allison and Jesse are a kind, thoughtful, modern couple. Their large home is extremely comfortable with all the amenities one would need. It's in a great neighborhood, probably the best the town has to offer. Very safe. The dog Griffey was a sweetheart, well trained, obedient and like they say "a gentle giant ". I found him a bit timid at first, but we played and I got a kiss whenever I asked. I'll miss him. I highly recommend this arrangement.
We loved staying at Sam's, fantastic location, lovely family and great house. Sam and Heather were a pleasure to deal with and we still miss the dogs! They are gorgeous. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped. Really easy to get on the bus and go into central Stockholm, plus a large shopping centre is nearby. Highly recommended.
We wanted some puppy energy to carry us into the new year and Charlie delivered. To be fair Humphrey does a lot of the heavy lifting and quite reasonably needs to slope off for a bit of down time. When Charlie has zonked out after a good run, that's when you can get some petting in with Humphrey. We had so much fun playing with these guys in the mill. There's no shortage of toys to play with when the dogs aren't wrestling each other. The indoor swing got used a lot (by us, not the dogs). We had a leak at Christmas and poor Anthony broke his leg and had to come home early but, throughout, Anthony's communication was excellent and everything was managed and resolved easily. Anthony's description of the dogs is accurate so this sit would suit people with a good balance who understand the vigilance needed to care for an intelligent pup who can still be easily distracted. A challenging but rewarding sit in a unique and beautiful setting.
