Lola and Yolo are great fun to be with: loving dogs who are great company for all the time you’ll be wanting to spend at home in Chris & Patty’s beautiful house. It feels like a resort in itself. Furthermore, the house has every appliance one needs to cook & fix up a drink at home. Yolo will play endless rounds of catch with you but also loll in the pool while you swim. Lola is calm and dignified. We enjoyed the location too. It was so easy to explore the area in our rental car, and there is a wonderful beach which stretches for miles nearby. The laid-back vibe coupled with access to delicious & affordable seafood kept us close to home & we didn’t even feel the need to visit downtown Hua Hin nearby. We’d be happy to return to visit this lovely family & location, & highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the company of two great dogs. Thank you Chris and Patty for allowing us the opportunity for this sit!

Our dog has been attending 9th St for several years now and we absolutely love it. The staff is exceptional and they cater to each dog so well. A lot of the staff has been there the whole time we have, which speaks volumes to me. Our Dexter is a little rough around the edges and they accept him as is and meet him where he is. He absolutely loves going to “school”. We have tried a few other doggie daycares in the metro and 9th St is by far the best!!
Our dogs, Stark and Rhodie, love 9th Street Barking Lot! When they go for daycare, they always come home exhausted and excited after playing all day. They also have different yards for different size dogs, including a low energy yard. The staff is super friendly and always lets us know how they did each day. We also board them often and we never worry as we know they are in good hands. Saturday and Sunday pickup is also very convenient. Would recommend to anyone looking to have their dogs burn some energy during the work week or looking to board for several days.
A driver of one of their vans needs to not drive so aggressively and not run red lights. Illegal and unsafe driving looks very bad for a business with their name and website printed all over the van. Whoever was driving on the morning (about 7:50 am) of 12/13/24 on N Western Ave needs to learn how to legally and safely drive.
I bring my dog Koa here and the people know her name and make sure she has so much fun She has so much energy and sometimes plays to rough so they know immediately when to put her inside for a minute to calm down so she and the puppies can stay safe She’s tired every time she comes home
They're the best. It is literally the only place we will ever board. They know our dogs and love them like they're their own. Marie up front is just incredible. If you love your dog and want a spot to take them to burn off some energy or stay the night. Take them here.
Updated update: still love taking my dog here. he's getting older now and they take good care of him. he gets to stay on the mellow side of the fence. my dog hates the cold and he gets to stay in a heated indoor area and never seems stressed when he comes home. well worth the money for the peace of mind I get knowing my dog is well card for Update: my pooch has been going here now for about 3 years. he loves it and we really like the people here. I recommend them to everyone! My dog goes every day of the work week. He is so obviously happy when he comes home. And when we drop him off he pushes the doors open to run into the yard and never looks back. He used to have pretty severe separation anxiety, but is so much happier now that he has been going here. The people are friendly. And the dogs all look like they are really having fun.
We love 9th street! They take amazing care of our dog. They have wonderful facilities that are well-maintained. Their attentive and caring staff has been a blessing. We have boarded our dog there, and also send him to visit a few days a week, and fully trust them. Highly recommend!
The negative reviews on here are mostly lies. This place is great. Plenty of people watching the dogs. There is always water available.. you can see that from the street.. and they shelter your dogs in the heat/cold and in storms. It lives up to the hype. You'll know it's good because your dog will be so stoked to go they don't care they you just left them. Been taking my dog for three years and I can tell she's happy there.. also she told me.
We take our cattle dog for a weekly day with his friends. All the staff handle him with care and even called us when a scab came off his nose (he had spent too much time in the kiddie/dog pool). Picture of him on the way to 9th Street
This is the first dog day care my dog loves to go to!!! The staff are competent, super friendly, and really care about your pup’s well-being. I’ve boarded my dog here twice and each time she comes home happy and healthy. I trust them 100%. Love this place!!!

My dog absolutely loves coming here. We’ve brought her since she’s had her shots as a puppy and it’s kept all of us sane. I’m able to work at home without worrying about her getting into any trouble. She’s able to use up her energy playing with friends!
I had my Standard Poodle groomed here this morning. The staff are exquisite! Teresa, the groomer, was so patient with my inability to be perfectly clear with what I wanted. My dog LOVES Bark of the Town!! I travel quite a bit for work and I don't feel bad boarding her since I know she loves it and is good hands. The staff is great, they love dogs and treat them as their own. I also highly recommend the grooming. It's nice to drop my dog off for doggie daycare and have her groomed the same day. Great place!!

This place was recommended to me by a good friend so I decided to try and board my dog here. We did the doggy day care to get him acclimated and he seemed to enjoy it. What bothered me was when I asked to take a tour of the facility, they wouldn’t let me. I asked if they could send me pictures of where he would be sleeping, playing etc since he’ll be staying there a whole week, I wanted to know what kind of environment he was going to be in. The pictures online show mostly close ups of dogs or the outside of the building. The girl told me she would ask the owner and get back to me but she never did. This I found out is very unusual and not like other boarding places, other places offer tours of their facilities. Well my dog came home with a scratch on his leg, which fine, dogs rough house with each other. But my dog developed an infection within hours and had to be taken to the ER where he had a 107 temp and was in the ICU for two days. This makes me suspicious of the cleanliness of the facility since they won’t let dog owners see or tour their facility. And I wonder how they are with the supervision of the pups. Update: the owner called and talked to me about what happened and apologized. I appreciated her reaching out.
Bark of the Town is my favorite place to bring my personal dogs -- I have tried a couple others and this one is hands down the best. I love how I know my dogs get to play the entire time they are there. At many other doggy day cares, they will kennel the dogs for part of their visit but at Bark of the Town they play from the second they are dropped off until you pick them up. I also love the staff. They are always happy to see my dogs and it just makes me feel a lot more reassured when I drop them off that I know they will be taken care of. At other places I have dropped my dogs off, the staff doesn't seem happy to see my dogs and then I am worried the whole time I'm gone if they are going to be treated well. My dogs are a little weird about new people but I can tell they like the staff there.
I personally love my dog and had the privilege of working there for a very short period of time, however I thought they were amazing! The location I worked at was for large dogs and the have a whole separate location for small dogs. My dog is very sensitive and shy but she was able to fit in just fine. They do stay outside however they have a cooled shop area that the dogs all have access to. They are constantly changing the water and making sure it is cold. I think the employees and the owners are all great people and truly care for your animals. With any place combining dogs can be tricky and you are at risk of your dog getting hurt but they are very good about integrating each dog. I think any dog would be a happy caper haniging out there and I would highly recommend them!

Cloe is so sweet. We called her for an odd hours request. She was extremely accommodating to our needs. She sent us pics of our dog while in her care. She saved the day allowing me to meet a cousin whom we had never met in person. 10 stars to sweet Cloe.
I’ve used Chloe over overnight dog sitting several times for my Yorkie. She even will pick him up from my home and drop him off the day we return from vacation which is super convenient when we have those early morning flights. She always sends lots of pictures and Hercules is unstressed and happy after staying with Chloe.
Chloe takes great care of my shih tzu puppy every time I have to run out of town or just when I need to just run errand. She always sends me pics and keeps me updated on how he’s doing. Would strongly recommend! :)
I have been taking my German Shepherd Kona to Chloe for around a year now. She loves it there. Chloe works with your schedule and sends lots of pictures while you’re away. I will continue to use Chloe whenever I have to go out of town.

I have been using Kim and her team for at least 5 years. They are fantastic with my dogs. My dogs warmed up to Kim immediate on her very first visit. She sends photos daily of our dogs so we can see how they are doing, so thoughtful as it hurts me more I think to be away than it does for them. I seriously will not use anyone else. This company is fantastic and I highly recommend them.
We could not possibly be more pleased with Edmond Critter Sitter! We have been working with them for about the past month and they have been perfect. We have a new Golden Doodle puppy and Kim and Claudia have been coming by to walk him twice a day. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found them - highly recommend!

They work endlessly with our rescues to insure the best skills for placement! Training for service dogs too!
The dogs spend most of the day in kennels with maybe 2x 20min trips outside to use the facilities. Not enough play time or space to run and burn off excess energy. My dog came home smelling like pee and had poop in between her pads. She had to run off a bad case of the zoomies for a while as well.
I'm so thankful for Trish in successfully training my child-aggressive senior schnauzer in a short amount of time to prepare for my baby. She has been an angel with the baby thanks to Trish's tips.

This place is so wonderful! We take our bloodhound for daycare and overnight stays. He always hates leaving because they treat him so well. I love that we have a place that gives us peace of mind when we go out of town. It's hard to leave your fur babies with strangers or even friends while you go on vacation, but this place makes those things so much easier. We highly recommend this to any dog owner.
Love this place. We had a last minute trip and needed boarding for our Rottweiler and poodle. They was able to accommodate us. Before booking, they ask specific questions about your pets and shot records. I was impressed because they wanted about your pets. This will be my go to place for now on.
My dogs LOVE it there! They post pictures to their facebook on weekdays which makes me feel more connected to my pups while I'm away. And the training is phenomenal! Not to mention the price that is INCREDIBLY reasonable. One of my dogs is not friendly with other dogs and this is the only place I could find who were willing to board, play, and socialize him. WE LOVE WRIGHT WAY!!

We have been taking our two pups to Happy Hounds since they opened. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the service and care Tessa and Sadie receive every time they stay there. Sometimes I think they like Happy Hounds more than home!
Where do I start?! I can’t say enough good things about Sadie (my little girl) and I’s experience with Happy Hounds thus far. Happy Hounds is AMAZING! The owner and staff are just awesome and absolutely love all dogs! The care is unreal and they constantly keep you updated on your pup with sending pictures and videos throughout the day- whether it’s just daycare or boarding. Sadie is obsessed and gets extremely excited when she walks in Happy Hounds’ front door. I have told my family, extended family, and friends about our experience and I will continue to spread the word. If you haven’t tried Happy Hounds you are definitely missing out!
omg I don’t even know where to start with how much we love Happy Hounds! We recently started taking our dogs to happy hounds a few months ago! The employees are so sweet and I can tell they just really care. I love how they send cute pictures/updates throughout the day. Fynn & Mylo are always so exhausted when they come home!! The facility is also very nice & spacious! I love knowing that there is enough room for them to run around & get their energy out. Happy hounds has by far been my favorite daycare for our dogs 🫶🏼

Presley loves going to Happy Hounds, he’s desperate to get through the door every week to play with his friends! We love that we get daily photos to show us how much fun he is having. The luxury boarding suites are perfect and something that most places around here do not offer, as well as the drive thru pick up and drop off option. All of the staff are super friendly and just as excited to see Presley as he is to see them! Couldn’t recommend Happy Hounds more!
Happy hounds is the absolute best!! Our pup Murphy has been boarded at happy hounds 6 different times and gone to daycare many times as well. As soon as we pull up she gets so excited and is ready to jump out the door. It is so great knowing that our pup is well taken care of anytime we are out of town. We love it here!
