Looking after Nico was a real pleasure! He is a very sociable dog who enjoys being with people. Very cute, photogenic and well trained which makes this a very easy petsit. I’m truly going to miss him and hope to return in better weather to enjoy longer walks together. Liz is welcoming and generous, she prepared a lovely meal on the evening of my arrival and walked me through the responsibilities and quirks of her home. I’m a city girl but felt cosy & comfortable during my week of mountain living, in a rustic house that has everything you need. There are no shops within walking distance but closest restaurant is superb and cheap, just 6kms downhill (an easy drive). The local community is very friendly and it was an extremely enjoyable stay. Muffin was nowhere to be seen whilst Liz was away, he’s an outdoor cat but he did return to eat his food. Then on the day I left, he appeared, to see me off! He knew his Mama was home. Thank you Liz for your hospitality.
This was my first house and cat sit for Trusted House Sitters and I have been blessed by a beautiful apartment located in one of the best areas in Paris and an affectionate and adorable cat. Not to forget Grace, easygoing and perfectly well organized.

In this review, we'll share our experience at the homeowner's house, caring for their dogs, while emphasizing that these are our personal impressions. We believe in providing honest feedback to maintain the integrity of the rating system. The three wonderful dogs, Maggie, Maya, and Brenna, quickly found a place in our hearts. Our time with them was rewarding and amazing. However, we faced some challenges, such as communication issues with the homeowners, lack of clear agreements, and cleanliness. It was unclear why this occurred, as the homeowners were nice but didn't make us feel genuinely welcomed. We felt more like dog-sitter staff than equal partners. Unfortunately, this impacted our overall enjoyment of the stay.
We had an absolute blast looking after Engine while Amanda and Will were away! He is everything that his name alludes to – when he’s not sleeping, he just goes and goes! He is obsessed with chasing his ball at the park and gives the best cuddles when he is at home. He is a very easy-going dog, who was both totally fine when we had to leave the flat for a few hours and when we took him on our 9km walk to see the London sights. He really is the best pup! Will and Amanda were such gracious hosts. They left the house in an immaculate condition, have all the amenities required for a comfortable stay, and were always contactable for any queries we had. They made us feel very welcome in their home and we couldn’t recommend sitting for them more.
