Julie & Dom were so welcoming to our family. Their home was immaculate, very comfortable and beautifully organised. The location is lush and private but very close to Noosa and Peregian Beaches and an easy drive to Australia Zoo and Aussie World (both of which our kids enjoyed). We very much enjoyed our daily swims in the pool too. We arrived a day early for a handover and were walked through the horses' routines. All the food had been pre-prepared for them, so all we had to do was follow the very clear and easy instructions to take care of their gorgeous equine family. We enjoyed our time with the horses and would happily sit for them again anytime.
I really enjoyed my days with Ragga and Leena in The Hague! They are really beautiful and sweet: 2 balls of cuteness, with different personalities and attitudes – Leena is more playful and active (she has a passion for small balls of paper to chase and sometimes bring back), Ragga is probably more interested in food and in posing in order to look great in pictures 😊 They are sweet and communicative, and clearly tell you when it is time for play, or cuddles, or food (always, according to Ragga), or a nap… Ana is a very nice person, friendly and welcoming; she provided detailed instructions about the cats and the apartment, which is very well equipped and very comfortable, located in one of the best neighbourhoods of The Hague, with several shops, cafes, and restaurant, and close to both the city centre and the beach. A highly recommended cat-sitting! I really hope I’ll have the opportunity to meet her and those 2 adorable furry ones again.
Kiki is a very sweet and affectionate cat 💜 Very easy to take care of, and lovely to have around. Communication with Marina was perfect, and the flat it’s in a lovely area. I can totally recommend this listing and would love to visit again myself
The cats were really friendly and easy to handle. One was a bit shy one came for the cuddles. The flat is beautiful and has everything you need with a stunning view and lots of balcony in every direction. Silke was very nice and chilled with me being there and taking care of the cats. The area is really quiete which is nice when you have been in the noisy and rushing city.
The joy of house sitting is that strangers are thrown together by a mutual love of animals and trust. And bingo, you meet gorgeous open- hearted, sharing people, Frances and David were no exception. Communication throughout has been faultless, the Welcome pack and guided house and garden tour was reassuring and thorough, and any queries during the sit where answered promptly- thank you. Enter Findlay, a confident, self-assured Collie with a zest for life that belies his age, who loves to play and tease and cuddle. He walks well on the lead but much prefers to lead the way , stick or ball at the ready to his favourite places, “excuse me, I swim here”. I could continue to wax lyrical about Finlay, he is just a go anywhere and do anything kinda guy, with great table manners. The feline family of Rosie, Charlie and Tommy are very self sufficient, Tommy the top cat the cat with panache, Rosie is slightly shy and reticent and Charlie, often asleep but lively and present at meal times. They are essentially outdoor cats, hunting and bringing home their nocturnal quarry. Frances and David have created a wonderful home and a beautifully landscaped garden, oh I love their garden, my happy place and Findlays playground- there I go again. This has been an exceptional house sit, 5⭐️ are not enough. Without reservation, I wholeheartedly recommend this sit to fellow THS.
My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of housesitting for Lola, the sweetest dog ever. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by Jim and Wilma. Lola showered us with puppy kisses and snuggles - she made us feel like family right away! During our stay, Lola was an absolute angel. She never made a peep and slept soundly through the nights. Taking her on walks and playing fetch with her were the highlights of our days. In the evenings, Lola would curl up beside us on the couch while we watched movies. Jim and Wilma’s beautiful home was also a joy to stay in. It was sparkling clean when we arrived and had every amenity we could need. Our time with her flew by way too quickly! We cannot recommend this housesitting experience highly enough. We'd jump at the chance to stay Lola again in a heartbeat! 💕🐾
