Laurie

Laurie, her daughter Ellie, and her husband Bryan were all involved in looking after my house and my dog Juno. Juno can be challenging the first day of a sit because of separation distress and a tendency to be skittish with new people. Laurie and her family handled all this in stride and by the end of the sit, she reported that Juno was enjoying her walks and playing with Ellie. Thank you Laurie, Ellie, and Bryan for your patience and care in looking after my shy little dog and my home.

Jessica

Jessica was incredible! She was so thoughtful and communicative, and organized. In fact when we got home we were shocked to see the place was EXACTLY how we left it. Super clean and our pup clearly extremely well taken care of. She sent photos and videos and chats daily! We were so grateful and hope she comes sit for Aries again in the near future :)

Sharon

Sharon took great care of our two dogs! She sent pictures and updates frequently. The house was kept neat and clean and all of the plants were taken care. 5 stars.

Vincent

Vincent took very good care of Lucy and left the house tidy. Unfortunately we had some issues with the app and weren’t able to schedule a pre-meeting, which would have been extremely important since Lucy is a very scared dog and requires a bit of patience and trust building. Other than that his reports were detailed.

Alexandra

Alexandra took excellent care of my 3 cats while I was away for a week. She communicated well before and during the stay, sending me updates and photos so I could see the cats were doing well. My shyest cat, Frankie, warmed up to her almost immediately, which is very unusual. She left the house in good condition and I had little to do when I returned home. The cats were calm, well fed, and only had good things to say about Alexandra!

Rachel

Rachel was one of our favorite sitters! I was a little concerned as the communication wasnt the best prior to the sit (long delays in responding). She had Shannon over a few days and her best friend on different days. We permitted it after meeting them, and trusting her. She was good about letting us know when something was wrong or broken. She also did a lot of changing things around in our home to accommodate what was desired. I understand as there was a bit of clutter in places. However, things were not always put back where they were and we have struggled to find several things. In some instances, the place looked better! Rachel was easy going and friendly. She graciously accommodated our needs for flexibility in the travel times. The animals all seemed happy and well so that meant the most! And she sent pics as requested! If she lived closer, she’s the kind of woman I could hang out with! With all this said, We would love to have her and Shannon back for a future sit, and the animals would be delighted too!

Nina has been an amazing sitter for our kitty, we’ve invited her to come watch our cat multiple times ☺️She always leaves super creative check in messages that make us smile while we’re away and is willing to go above and beyond the pet-sitting to make sure our minds are at ease. Our baby is always well taken care of and the house is just as we left it when we return. Thank you, Nina, we always love having you!!

Katy and Tom were wonderful sitters for our two extra large, very different (from each other) dogs. They were easy to communicate with before & during the stay and left our home in perfect shape. We’d be lucky to have them watch Ozzie and Stevie again!

Lisabeth & Nahomy

We invited Lisabeth and Nahomy a third time for taking care of our pet dog Moose and housesitting, and they were fantastic, as usual! They stayed for 2 weeks, and while this was the longest time we’ve been away from our Moose, our anxieties were lifted knowing he’d be in good hands. We received daily videos/photos of Moose’s adventures with the two of them, and we could tell Moose was so happy and taken cared of. Since it was a longer stay, they also gave us a more detailed update halfway through the stay on Moose’s routine, behavior, appetite, and meds. Moose’s diet had changed slightly from their last stay, and they had no problem adapting for us/Moose. We really appreciate the thoroughness and great communication that Lisabeth/Nahomy give. Additionally, our house was well taken cared of and very clean when we got back. Lisabeth/Nahomy are very tidy, organized, and dependable. During their stay, they were able to bring in our mail/packages and took care of any dishes/trash from their stay. We and Moose are lucky to have Lisabeth and Nahomy, and we highly recommend them as your next house/petsitter!

Erline was such an absolute pleasure to have stay while we were traveling. She was so sweet to the cats and responsive, sending photos, etc., each day. The house was spotless when we got back (and thank you for the flowers!) and we'd love to have her back anytime to housesit again. Could not recommend her more highly!!

We can not say enough about David.  He was so carrying and attentive to our fur baby but also to our home.  We could tell that David had a soft spot for dogs as soon as he walked into the door and started interacting with our pup.  We received several updates and photos while we were away, which was so great.   Our dog definitely loved the extra attention David gave.  Plus, our home was clean and tidy when we returned.  David simply went above and beyond any expectations we had.  We can not thank David enough and would definitely have him sit for us again in the future.

Eoaghan came to house sit for me when I had to travel for work for six weeks in July/August. This was the longest period of time I had ever left my pets in the hands of someone else, and I was honestly a bit nervous. However, by sheer coincidence, Eoghan also happened to be in town prior to that when I was only looking for a sitter for a long weekend and took this opportunity to already house sit then and get to know my bunnies. He seemed very dedicated to my pets, and after this first brief encounter, I was confident that he would treat them as if they were his own. During my long absence, we staid in touch almost daily. Eoghan dealt with a handy man, sorted my mail and addressed every question or concern regarding his house sit timely and clearly, asking for my advice before he made any decisions. We also chatted about our daily lifes and it felt as if I was talking to a friend and not a stranger. There was no doubt that my bunnies were well taken care off, and I was touched when Eoghan admitted how fond he had grown of them and how much he would miss them after his stay. The only complaint I might have is that his idea of "cleaning" was a bit masculine, and he doesn't seem to have a very green thumb either. But Eoghan is still a great sitter with a big heart for any pets, and I am hoping to welcome him back on future occasions.
