I could not rave more about my experience at Doggittude. They’ve taken a shy and scared rescue and turned him into a confident and happy boy. I can’t speak more to their staff who go above and beyond to the dogs, but also clearly care about the dogs. In my years in NYC this place gives customer service and caring a new name.
Great daycare service. They have been taking care of our puppy 1-2 times a week for the last few months (ever since he was 3 months old). He always comes back tired, well behaved and well socialized. We get updates from the staff and occasionally get to see him having the best time through instagram posts :) - really easy to book, and they are on top of their game making sure all the pups are healthy, everyone is up to date on shots, etc. he’s made some great friends and I know he’s always in great hands.
I started boarding my dog Kiki here and she absolutely loves it. She's a high-energy Australian Shepherd who can sometimes feel overwhelmed with so many dogs, but here she has a great balance of play and rest during both daycare and boarding. The facility is clean and well-maintained with a great little outdoor spot in the back. The staff are genuinely caring, knowledgable, and attentive. I've been stressed about the bad canine illness going around, but the owner and entire staff have been very communicative and transparent about how they are addressing it in a vet/science-backed way.
We are so thankful we found Doggittude. Our boy Indy was a senior dog with a multitude of medical issues. Taryn and team were so caring and attentive to all of his needs. When Indy had a medical issue while boarding, Taryn and Sam were there for him and helped him get the care he needed, while we traveled home. I am so thankful for the sweet love and attention Indy got in his time there. Not your average doggie daycare - as a doting pet parent I would never settle for anything less than Doggittude.
A doggie oasis! Beautiful new, clean facility with outdoor play area, my dog loves it! Taryn is an angel and her love and devotion to animals shows in every inch of Doggitude. Grateful to have a safe, clean, wonderful place to send my pup.
We had our 10 month old puppy, Potato, do boarding for a few nights at Doggitude and he absolutely loved it. As a puppy who gets separation anxiety, he felt relaxed and loved during his stay. So much so, we wondered if he even missed us when we returned! Potato loves all of his friends at Doggitude, furry and human, and we feel very lucky to have a trusted, safe and clean establishment to take care of our precious boy.
My Liza absolutely enjoyed the vetting process. She’s been nothing but happy with visiting & hanging out with the pups & made a BFF & super sweet Staff here. We appreciate this journey, see You soon !
Our dog loves the backyard area. It’s great to have a place in Brooklyn with weekend hours and boarding. The inside is super nice and clean, and the boarding is very accommodative.
We're so happy to have Doggittude in the neighborhood. Taryn and her team are so warm and compassionate, making us always want to linger and chat. From the moment you step inside their brand new facility, it's clear how much thought and care went into the design of the space. It's functional, cozy and spotless. The daycare and overnights are perfect for our 3-year-old springer spaniel, and check-ins from the Doggittude team make us feel at ease, even when we're far from home. We also can't wait to try out their state-of-the-art dog washing station in the near future. Thank you Taryn, Sam and the whole Doggittude staff!
Grateful to have Doggittude in the neighborhood. We feel so comfortable boarding our dog Garbanzo there because they (Taryn, Sam, and co) are so attentive to his needs and quirks. We love that the facility is spacious and clean, there’s outdoor space, and that they send photos and updates throughout his stay.
I’ve been bringing my dog, Gus, here for years and he loves it. He’s an anxious dog, and all the exercise and play helps him relax at home. Danielle, the owner, has gone above and beyond a few times to help us out. She makes it feel more like a community than just a business.
I love pet super nanny! The owner clearly loves dogs and goes above and beyond all of the time (case in point, my dog got into a mess and she gave him a bath free of charge the other day)! Also puts together very fun events such as the annual Halloween party, summer party, and more. Altogether my dog pulls me in every time we go and is exhausted from play when we get back. Five stars!
Danielle and her facility is Superb. I’ve been taking my dog here for the past three years, he needed to be socialized as his breed is known to be Aggressive to other dogs if not socialized. Not only did the Pet Nanny socialize my dog, he completely loves all dogs. Apparently he’s the mayor of the Pet Nanny doggies. I’ve had my dog go to her daycare every day for at least eight months, while I was going back to work after the pandemic. He was never happier. Now that Kobe has a brother, I will be taking the both there. Danielle is great. I’ve boarded my pup there several times as well. I know live in Manhattan and still will drive to brooklyn, theres no there place better than the pet nanny!
This place is lovely! It is run by an owner and employees who adore animals, and you can feel it. When I first brought my puppy, Moush, to doggy daycare, she was shaking and crying. The owner Danielle, told me not to worry, that eventually she would be jumping for joy to come play at Pet Super Nanny. I did not believe her. I thought I might have to give up the idea of doggy day care altogether. But she was right. A month later and Moush barely gives me a second glance when I drop her off. She loves the big, clean space to run and play and above all, she loves Danielle and all of the staff. Thank you!
Danielle and her staff are so good with the dogs! My pup is always excited to go and I trust the staff to keep her safe and entertained. Danielle keeps you updated on any potential issues with your pup (health, behavior changes) which really assured me that she was looking after all the pets in her care closely and with love!
Danielle the owner and her facility are fantastic. My dog Elsa is very anxious and terrified about most things and she thrives there when I have to leave town. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!
This is the only place I trust with my dog (and even, at times, my cats). I cannot say enough good things about Danielle and don’t know where to start! Brass tacks: she has a wealth of knowledge regarding ALL pet care, provides first rate services (from daycare to boarding to grooming), maintains high standards (vaccine requirements, facility cleaning, safety) and has great pricing and packages to fit your needs. On top of all that, she truly cares about each dog and their family. Danielle really gets to know your dog and she passes this knowledge on to the rest of her staff. My dog had been extremely anxious (especially after abuse and shelter life) and with Danielle and regular daycare his physical and emotional energy became much more settled. It’s an incredible relief to have someone who I know will be able to take good care of my pet - especially now, when our new quarantine lifestyle has driven our dog’s separation anxiety to an all time high. Additionally, the location itself is awesome. It’s massive, modern, clean and dynamic - so I know that it’s able to handle any kind of dog group and that my dog will always have a good area and dog group to run and play in. The instagram regularly uploads play photos throughout the day which are delightful. Outside of the vet (although Danielle also has vet tech experience!), I’ve never felt the need to go elsewhere for anything pet related. In short: When it came time for me to find a new apartment last year, I deliberately searched in an area that was close to Danielle. We can’t live without her!
My dog Sam loves it here. He runs on in every time we come here and clearly likes the staff a lot. He wags his tail, runs to greet them, and even sometimes makes a little happy noise he only does for me and my partner. Clearly they treat him well and give him a lot of attention. The prices are also fair and they have great packages. This is also the best smelling dog daycare we’ve been to. He doesn’t come home stinky like can sometimes (understandably) happen elsewhere. Don’t be scared by the one star reviews. Most of them seem to have come from the same person or two.
Danielle and her team have gone above and beyond to make Walter (and this new paw-rent) feel safe. He obtained a serious injury at another doggy daycare and I have been skeptical ever since. I appreciate Danielle's thoroughness and the process in place to ensure all dogs are up to date with their vaccines before stepping in the door. I've also noted their patience to introduce new dogs to their new environments (not a one-size-fits-all setup but separated by size and temperament), not to mention the showering of love from the staff! I primarily use their daycare service and boarding services. Walter is slowly but surely gaining his confidence here. Overall I highly recommend! Can't wait for the outdoor area to be in full swing come summer!
My pup has such a great time at Pet Super Nanny! He’s been going for over a year, and he loves coming every week! He’s always wagging his tail when we walk up and gets so excited to see everyone who works there. My pup can be a bit anxious, but the folks at Pet Super Nanny make him feel comfortable.
Never got back to me. It started out fine, I submitted my info via the contact form and got an automated response, this was on a Friday. By Monday Rachel sent me an email to schedule an introductory call for that Thursday. We met and had a lovely chat, to which she told me she would have one of her local walkers follow up with me and send me the link to register with Time to Pet. I never heard back (I even checked my Spam), so I sent an email the following Wednesday asking for a status...got no response. Then about two weeks after Rachel and I spoke I got an email from someone from else from Brooklyn Bark asking if I wanted to set up time to have an introductory call about my dog. I said no thanks, I've already moved on and hired someone through Rover.
Our dog is loving her weekly walks with James. It is very easy to book services and keep track of payments on the app. I love getting the updates from James after the walk and most importantly, my dog loves it too!
We love Brooklyn Bark! We have been using them for over 7 years for cat sitting, and the past year for our dog for dog walking. They have always been available when we need them. They’re very responsive, and trustworthy. We love Michael, our regular walker for our dog, but the substitutes have been phenomenal. We always get adorable pictures and summaries about the visits. Our cat has always loved his sitters, and let’s them brush him and play. We cannot recommend them enough!
So thankful for Brooklyn Bark! Matt is our regular walker and he has been nothing but patient and gentle with my timid little guy. We've also had other Brooklyn Bark walkers take care of our dog (walks and weekend dogsitting) and they have been wonderful as well. The TimetoPet app makes scheduling easy and flexible, and I always look forward to the "report cards" we receive after our dog's walk. Brooklyn Bark is reliable, professional, and flexible - would highly recommend to anyone looking for dog care services.
We love Brooklyn Bark! We have been using them for over a year and a half and they have always been courteous and thorough. We love the detailed pics and notes of our gals walks and over night care. We have a regular walker/sitter and she is just the best but our fur baby is always covered if our regular sitter is on vacation or we have a last minute request. We are so relieved to have found them and know we can count on Brooklyn Bark to take care of our gal! Highly recommend! ❤️🐾😂
We absolutely love Brooklyn Bark, and they’ve been incredible for our puppy Lil! We were so grateful to find amazing in-home care with the team here. Can’t recommend highly enough!!
Brooklyn Bark is the best! Their team is responsive, professional and consistently great with pups. They’ve walked our sweet (and often difficult) dogs with kindness and patience. A huge thank you to Emily who has been our regular walker for over a year now!
Love Brooklyn Bark and our dog walker, James. This company has been a life saver - trust worthy and pet obsessed. Their app makes managing schedules and communication so easy. Def recommend!
I love Brooklyn bark! They are an amazing company and really take care of our pup. Specifically Brooke communicates clearly, loves auggie, and is great at handling some tougher dogs!
I started using Brooklyn Bark a few months ago when I went back to the office and I have never looked back! My dog is obsessed with her walker and I trust him implicitly. I can tell he cares so much about the dogs he walks, and I never see him with more than 1 or 2 at time (not the case for other dog walkers!) so I know he’s completely focused on my dog when he’s with her. I can’t say enough good things about them!!!
My wife and I had our dog Bailey walked with the Little Dippers for over 8 years and they are always phenomenal! Bailey loves getting her walks from an organization which shows so much care and compassion for their canine companions! They have always been clear, prompt and responsive in any communications related to changes due to unusual circumstances (COVID, extreme weather, neighborhood boundaries, etc.) and helpful to help address any of Bailey’s health needs. We also truly believe the smaller walk group is a major benefit of Steven and Alex’s business, as it allows their walkers to maximize attention for each individual pup. We recently moved across the country for work and were truly heartbroken to be leaving Steven, Alex and the Little Dipper walking team after all these years. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the neighborhood looking for a dog walker!
Little Dipper has taken care of our dog, Gemma, for 1.5 years. We cannot recommend their services enough. Alex, Steven, and their entire team have treated Gemma as if she was their own. She is always so excited to see her Little Dipper team, so we just know we are leaving her in good hands. They are always very responsive to messages and last minute accommodations; they have even cared for Gemma when we have been away on vacation. When Gemma had an emergency and needed to be brought urgently to the vet, they pitched in without hesitation until I was able to get back home from work. We like that that she is walked in a small group so that she gets individualized attention and is not overwhelmed by a large group of dogs. Very organized and always compassionate, Little Dipper is part of our family! I recommend them without reservation!
Steven & Alex and the whole Little Dipper family are absolutely incredible people, responsible and trustworthy and so good with walking our dog Mickey. We have been doing daily walks with them for over a year and they always come on time, enter and leave the house quietly and quickly and are also responsible and friendly in the hallways given we live in an apartment building with other units. They care deeply about all of the dogs they walk which is one reason we wanted to work with them. They also are very flexible with different requests and circumstances (we underwent a renovation recently and they picked Mickey up from a new location for a few months; they did a couple extra early walks for us when we had our baby and picked up Mickey from the doggie daycare for us, etc). We are so grateful for Little Dipper and will continue to work with them daily as long as possible!
What would we do without Little Dipper! Steven, Alex, and their entire walking crew are the absolute best, and our little pup couldn’t love them more. Their pricing is fair and they are always accommodating of last minute requests. They keep walking groups small so they can give your pet their full attention. They even have given us nutritional advice and are always at the ready to answer dog care questions with tons of knowledge. We also love the photos and cute recaps in their portal from each walk. Look no further for your dog walking needs.
My wife and I have used little dipper pet care for several years now. We could not be happier with our experience - any time a friend asks for a recommended pet care provider, I always recommended little dipper without hesitation. It all starts from the top, Steven and Alex are fantastic individuals, run their business in an efficient and professional way and, most of all, are fantastic with our dog. This cascades through the rest of their team, we have never had an issue with a single walker over the years - each is equally incredible taking care of our dog and always professional, loving and on time. They are responsive, extremely accomodating and I could not imagine using another pet care service - our dog is over the moon every time one of the little dipper walkers comes to our door. We also love the notes and photos they provide at the end of walks! Highly recommend!
We love Little Dipper and have trusted their team with our pup for years. Their pricing is reasonable, and the walks are always in smaller groups (rather than those groups of 10+ dogs you often see in NYC). Their online booking system is also super convenient. Steven, Alex, and the team are clearly so passionate about the dogs, and we don’t know what we would do without them.
We've been so happy with Little Dipper's services. The walkers truly seem to care about our dog Jake. Owner Steven responds to questions or requests immediately and is so accommodating. After each walk I get a report, map of the walk and photo/s. Truly outstanding people and value.
I have used Little Dipper for a year now for weekly walks and overnight visits. They are WONDERFUL. My extremely anxious dog loves them and I've seen an improvement in his emotional behavior since beginning their services. They use a scheduling app and it's easy to add in additional walks when need be. It's important to note that they do private or 2 dog walks so they do not have a pack taking up the whole sidewalk. Great, personal care.
Steven, Alex and all the walkers at Little Dipper are the best! My dog gets so excited for her walks with them. They’re all so kind, thoughtful and flexible with schedules. Would wholeheartedly recommend to any of my fellow pet-parents
Little Dipper is the absolute best! I cannot say enough good things. Steven, Alex, and every walker treat Ruby like she is their own. They are always quick to respond and are super flexible. They truly help our family function. We love them!!
Justine gave my dog the worst grooming haircut he’s ever gotten. The fur around my dogs nose was trimmed in such a ridiculous and terrible way it’s almost hard to describe. I’ll let the photo speak for itself. Justine would not acknowledge how uneven and chopped up the cut was and refused to refund me. She told me that I should have taken him to a “fancy groomer”. I would have understood if she acknowledged the butchered job, but she would not. To me, that’s awful customer service. It will take about 3 months for this fur to grow back to blend in. Don’t take your dog to get a haircut here. Here are before and after photos.
Maple’s been going to Houndstown Dumbo for almost 2 years and we could never express enough gratitude and appreciation for Justine, Luca, and all whole team! Maple loves going to play with her friends and we love that the daycare provides different environments for the dogs and their temperaments. The whole staff genuinely cares for the wellbeing of the dogs in their care and that exemplifies the kind of facility they are. You can trust your dog is safe and enjoying their time. Maple will be a houndstown dumbo girl for years to come! Attached are some pics from their instagram where they update daily activities! :)
We love bringing our pup here for boarding. We always know he’s well taken care of by Justine and her team. They go out of their way to ensure our pup is healthy and happy. Love seeing updates on instagram of all the fun he’s having while we’re away!
Justine and her team groomed my sweet foster dog and did a spectacular job! Josie was nervous as she'd just arrived in NYC and I'd be surprised if she'd ever been professionally groomed in her life, but I picked her up looking gorgeous and in great spirits (she was cuddled up on the dog bed in their lobby, wrapped in a blanket!). Even her grooming was personalized as they kept her cute scruffy coat scruffy, just more glam. You can tell they actually care about the individual dogs in their care. Great new resource for pet owners in the area and I'll be back. Photo is her a few days after the grooming, still smelling fresh as a daisy!
We love Hounds Town! We have tried several daycare/boarding businesses in the Brooklyn Heights/Dumbo area and nothing compares to the experience our dog has at Hounds Town. The owners and staff are incredible and treat her as she was their own dog! Our vacations and time away from her are more stress free knowing she is in the best of care.
Our little benny loves Justine and hounds town! (And so do we). We started taking him here at 7 months old and he was a little unsure, now we can't walk past without him trying to run up the ramp! We have complete peace of mind when we leave him for the day and I know he's always had a great day. Thank you always!!
Houndstown is a must if you live or work in the Dumbo area and are looking for a safe, clean, and wonderful group of people to watch after and care your dog! After trying a few different places in the neighborhood and not loving the experiences, our dog walker suggested that we try this local business and we have had nothing but great experiences. Justine and her team run the business with a human and local touch, which is no always what you expect to find in NYC. The team posts pictures of your furry love every day. They have separate rooms with doors and beds elevated off the ground when you board your puppy, which makes me feel great knowing my dog has his own place to sleep and wind down at night and feel safe. Another great perk is that they offer grooming services and we will typically set it up for the morning before we come to get our puppy after staying for boarding, which makes our life easier when we return from a trip. We love houndstown!
We’ve tried them all and Justine and the Hounds Town team are no doubt the best. They really care about each dog and it shows. They take care to group each pup with others they get along with, not just based on size. Best thing I can say is our pup is excited to go back every morning which makes us feel so great leaving her there.
Our pup has visited all the doggy daycares in Dumbo and Hounds Town is by far our favorite! Justine (the owner) and her team truly care about each dog. Our pup has a lot of energy and comes home tired after every visit, but is always eager to get back to see her friends. The pricing here is really reasonable and on par with what you can find in the neighborhood but it’s hard to beat the personal touch and TLC our pup gets here.
We love Houndstown. Its our go to in the neighborhood for daycare and boarding. We left our tiny dog Jiggly with Houndstown for her first overnight boarding, and she had a great time and even made some doggy friends. You can tell Justine really cares about her pups and takes great care of them.
they're great! have recommended this place to a few friends. i would just note that, after factoring in the credit card fee and sales tax, if you buy bulk packages you actually don't save anything. Per visit you're paying a little over $42, as opposed to the almost $48/day cost of a drop in (which factors in the credit card fee and sales tax). I think the employees are great and take wonderful care of the dogs, I just thought the pricing should be a little more visible.
Staff is wonderful and loves the dogs. Have been going there since my dog was 6 months old and he is now over 4. They are happy to house sit when I have to travel and my dog is always thrilled. Couldn’t be better!
I heartily recommend Lickers n Sniffers! My dog loves going there for boarding or day care and I trust them fully to take good care of him! The staff is attentive, professional and caring towards the animals in their care. Every time I return to pick up my dog, they give me a full report on his activities and you can tell they paid attention. I love that one of the owners is a vet and they routinely go above and beyond the call of duty to help me out. They have also done a great job trimming my dog’s nails.
The employees were very nice and my kittens seemed well cared for the night they were there. Unfortunately the place does smell very strongly. And when I came to get my kittens I was handed my carrier to find...the wrong cats inside. I immediately told them "these are not my cats!!" and thankfully they brought me my kittens. The employee apologized profusely and said there was a mixup of name tags. Ok. But that made me wonder if my kittens had been given the correct food I brought, and god forbid what would have happened if someone had given my cats to a different customer who was in a rush and took the carrier without looking inside it first. I will not take that risk again!
I assume this place took well enough care of my dog but need to leave a review for shady business practices. About a week after I picked up my dog, I had two additional charges on my card. I called them and they explained it was for an additional day because I had dropped my dog off at 4 and picked him up at 5. However they give you a very specific window to drop off and pick up. Then I was charged an additional daycare fee after my trial night. These would’ve been fine in theory had they explained the charges beforehand, or at least contacted me in some way to explain they were charging my card and for what reason. To just charge a card with no contact or explanation is really odd. They did refund me one of the fees but this could’ve been avoided had they just communicated with me. Not ideal.
I really like this place. The puppy playgroup was really nice when our dog was younger. The only problem is the grooming, I feel like they don't understand my dog's breed because they always give him super weird haircuts, and one time he came home being matted because they didn't brush him after his bath. I feel like the intensions are good and the people are very nice, just the grooming could improve. Even when I bring a picture and say, could you do exactly this haircut, my dog ends up looking weird.
We were bringing our dog to the Bond St location and were so happy to hear about their new location on 5th Ave that was closer to us. My two dogs absolutely love coming here for day care! They get so excited when we drop them off! Noor and her staff are wonderful and caring. They are so attentive and professional and always answer any questions we have when picking them up. We are so happy with the care they provide and highly recommend Lickers & Sniffers!
We love bringing our dog here for daycare, as well as grooming. The staff is extremely courteous, responsive, and caring for the pups. The dogs are always supervised by at least one staff member which is reassuring. They post videos on their Instagram of the dogs playing and you can see how great a time they are having. Would highly recommend them!
I can’t recommend Lickers n Sniffer enough for boarding and day care. My dog absolutely loves it there - I have to carry her home because she refuses to leave at the end of the day. She is elated to see every single staff member, so I am sure each one takes care of her very well. They have a nice back yard to let the dogs play in, too, and my wife and I love to see the Instagram videos of all the dogs playing together back there. Noor is fantastic, and I completely trust her and everyone else there to care for my dog. The rates are very reasonable for the area, as well. I can’t say enough good things about it, you and your dog will love it!
Our 4 month old labradoodle loves coming to Lickers n Sniffers! We bring him to puppy socialization every Sunday and have just started him at daycare as well. The staff are friendly and organized and clearly love what they do. I would recommend Lickers n Sniffers to any dog owner!
Cesar, Christian and the whole WW team are just the best! My dog is not very social and can be quite stubborn, and all of the walkers love her anyway! They accept all the animals where they are and shower them with treats and love. Josie, who doesn't like too many people, absolutely LOVES Cesar and his walkers. It is really fun to see her interact with them and her pack.
Cesar at Woofs & Wags was recommended by our dog trainer; Woofs & Wags has been walking our dog since 2021. Our rescue pup initially had separation anxiety, but Woofs & Wags eased him into group walks in Brooklyn, and he's been walking happily in a pack ever since. We like all their friendly dog walkers, and their app makes scheduling and payments very easy and convenient. We also board our dog with them; our dog has so much fun with them that he runs and leaps into Cesar's car during his pick-ups. We find W&W to be trustworthy and reliable; would highly recommend!
Our pup Archie absolutely loves the whole team at Woofs and Wags! He comes back from his twice weekly pack walks in Brooklyn happy and exhausted! We also love the personalized care Archie gets when he stays over for boarding as well. Cesar, Christian and their whole team of walkers are absolute professionals and very nice people to boot! Thank you Woofs and Wags team for taking such good care of our boy.
I highly recommend Cesar and Christian for all your dog walking and boarding needs. They are reliable, professional, and truly care about the dogs. My dog always comes back happy after a walk. They even come and check on our cat! If you're looking for a dog walker, look no further than these guys!
Woofs & Wags are simply the best in the business. Cesar, Christian, and everyone in the Woofs & Wags crew clearly love what they do and make every walk a fun and safe experience. Tabla has been with the pack since he was 16 weeks old and leaps to the door anytime it’s time for a walk (rain or shine)! Cesar’s is our most trusted home for boarding since he treats Tabla and all his pack friends like treasured family members. Rest assured you’re in good hands with the Woofs & Wags fam.
I highly recommend Woofs and Wags for anyone in need of reliable and caring dog walking and pet sitting services. They have been taking care of my dog choco and my cat Beli for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with their service. Cesar and Christian are professional, trustworthy, and truly love animals! Choco and Beli love Woofs and Wags!
I have been using Woofs and Wags for almost 2 years now! They are so amazing, trustworthy and knowledgeable. Pearl and Vienna are so lucky to have such an amazing team to walk them and to watch them while I am away on vacation. I always know my girls are in great hands! I love their new app that they use; it’s easy to schedule walks and lets me know when my girls get pick up and dropped off from their walk, and let’s me know if they went to the bathroom on their walk. So blessed to have Woofs and Wags in my neighborhood!
Cesar and Christian are nothing short of amazing! My girl has pretty severe anxiety being outside as she was hit by a car almost a year ago. After meeting multiple walkers in the neighborhood, it was really clear Cesar and Christian were a great fit for us. As soon as my girl met Cesar she was smitten (she is incredibly selective on who she trusts and interacts with). I was so nervous on how she would do during the walks and Cesar, Christian, and Yana have all eased my worries. They send me updates and do whatever they can to help Millie with her anxiety. They are incredibly patient and kind. My partner and I have both been home a couple times when they came to pick her up and you can tell how much she loves them by how excited she gets! It is so nice to have these guys in the neighborhood. I always have peace of mind knowing my pup is in good hands with woofs & wags :)
Cesar and Christian have been taking care of our cats for over five years, which should tell you something! They are 100% reliable, professional, and care for our cats as they were their own. Whenever we get back from vacation, everyone is just as we left them - happy, healthy, and in fine form. I would not hesitate to recommend Cesar and Christian to any pet parents who are looking for trustworthy animal care.
Cesar and his team consistently provide superb service for me and my dog. They work with you and your dog to provide what you need and will go the extra mile to support you when you need it. From extended boarding to regular weekly walks, I know my dog is well taken care of and enjoying her time. I’m so grateful to the Woofs & Wags family for all they’ve done over the years and the community they have built. Could not recommend this team more highly.
Love Park Slope Pups! Ilana and team are the best. When I walk my dog by their location, he always tries to go into the building. Highly recommend. Update: I started using PSP for dog walking too and could not be happier. Holley has been AMAZING with my pooch (also takes awesome photos! example below!). I travel for work sometimes and need additional walks last minute and Ilana always does her best to accommodate. Should be able to give more stars to this place.
I've been using Park Slope Pups for almost two years now and have had a great experience. My dog loves her walker, Alf, and I do too ! He couldn't be sweeter with her, he's super professional and caring. Can't say enough good things!
Ilana and the walkers/sitters of Park Slope Pups are absolutely wonderful! It's such a relief knowing I'm leaving my pup in good hands, and ilana has been super helpful and life-saving during emergency needs. Cannot recommend them enough
I’ve been taking my dog Jules to Park Slope Pups for over a year now and it’s been an excellent experience. Ilana is very warm and professional and it’s clear that she cares deeply about the dogs she watches. She is also very accommodating to my schedule, which can be a bit irregular at times. And best of all, Jules is a happy tired dog when he gets home!
Great team! We've had two pet sitters stay at our place when we've been out of town, and they were wonderful! Took great care of our babies. Organized team -- highly recommend!
I absolutely LOVE Park Slope Pups, and could not recommend a better boarding/walking service in Park Slope (or anywhere!). The team is responsive, responsible, and trustworthy, and my pup absolutely adores them. They are extremely organized, and are very reasonable if a last minute request comes in. Some of their walkers even do paintings of your pup, which are incredible! I got so lucky finding this wonderful team, and could not say more nice things. Thanks Park Slope Pups for easing my mind when I can't be with Stevie!
The team at Park Slope Pups has been great to work with! We've been using Park Slope Pups since our puppy was around 7 months old and every employee has been so great with him. He's generally a bit scared of being away from us at first, but with the PSP team he seems right at home. They're great at accommodating both long term and last-minute requests, excellent communication and all around great service. Highly recommend!
We've had such a nice experience with Park Slope Pups and our main guy, our puppy's regular dog walker, Alf! He's so sweet with her. It really puts a crazy dog mum like me at ease knowing she's being so well cared for and so excited to see Alf everyday.
Hands down the best dog walking service I've used. Ilana and her team are professional, communicative, and reliable. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for a trustworthy person to look after their pup. My dog Hubble gives them 2 paws up!
Our dogs, Sally and Silvio, are our everything. When it came to dog sitting we typically would only feel comfortable having family watch them, sometimes even flying family in but that isn’t always possible. So when we were looking for a dog sitting service it had to be someone we felt really comfortable with. We cannot recommend Park Slope Pups enough. They take care of our dogs as if they were their own.
My dog gets two walks a week. I’m kept up to date with when the walker will arrive and am provided lots of photo updates throughout her 30 minute walk. We’ve had a few different walkers since starting out, and all of them have been reliable and fantastic. My dog walks with a few neighborhood dogs regularly, and they all get so excited to see each other. We are also a big fan of their dog sitting services, my dog gets the royal treatment when she stays with them. It’s nice to have someone you feel comfortable leaving your dog with, and I can’t think of anyone I’d trust more!
We are so grateful for Brooklyn Tails and Trails for loving and taking our dog Loki for walks. Nelli is such a wonderful owner and was always accessible and flexible & we have loved having Nathalie as our primary dog walker. They send a ton of (humorous) pictures of Loki on every walk which has filled our camera roll. Nathalie was always very attentive and we trusted her completely with picking up and dropping Loki on every walk. We 1000% recommend them for Brooklyn dog walking /pet sitting needs!
Reliable, capable, and trustworthy. BKTT has been walking my rambunctious 115lb Great Dane mix for years without any issue or concern. He always looks forward to his walks and they’ve been a huge positive for his behavior and socialization. They especially went above and beyond when I had emergency surgery and was unable to walk my dog regularly for a few weeks.
My dog has been walking with Bella for about 6 months now and we couldn't be happier with her as well as the admin staff. I was worried after moving away from our old neighborhood (and walker) because I thought my dog would struggle to adapt to someone new, but the transition was super smooth. We get pictures and updates every day and they have always been amenable to schedule changes and vacations. Most importantly, I feel that my dog is in safe hands and always happy and tired upon returning! :)
We have been with Brooklyn Tails & Trails for roughly a year. TL;DR the walking service has been reliable, consistent and really amazing! Nelli made sure our onboarding process was smooth, she came over and gave us immediate confidence in her and the team. Nathaly is our walker, she loves the dogs and they love her. Nat sends us pictures every day, the dogs who are generally lazy city dogs who don't like walks, are very happy when she arrives. Love the service, would recommend to anyone who is looking for dog walking services.
I have used Brooklyn Tails and Trails for the last year and they have been amazing. Nelli and Team are very responsive for all requests, the internal system is super easy to go into and add or cancel an appointment. My dog Reese adores Mr. Frank. The care and love he has for the dogs he walks shines through the entertaining commentary/update he provides post walk each day via Whatsapp. I trust BKTT and would recommend them to anyone I know in the area.
Have had a great experience so far with Frank, who has been walking my two dogs for the past several months. Always sending cute photos and updates after walks. Has also been flexible whenever I've needed an additional walk at the last minute. Would definitely recommend for anyone living in Brooklyn.
Have had nothing but positive experiences with BTT! As a newcomer to NYC/Brooklyn I was extremely worried about how my pup would handle being a city dog. It's obvious that my dog is completely comfortable with each of the walkers he has worked with and I look forward to receiving my daily-doggie update every time he has a visit! I would 100% recommend BTT to anyone in my building and fellow dog-parents in the area. The service is great, extremely affordable, and has made transitioning to the city super easy!
We love using Brooklyn Tails & Trails for our dog walking needs! We live in Brooklyn Heights and our walker Isaiah is amazing. He approached our shy rescue pup like a pro and after one meeting she loved him! We're so lucky to have found this amazing team, they are always accommodating to any special requests we have and are a pleasure to work with. Isaiah regularly sends photos when he takes our dog out and you can tell he genuinely cares about her. They are very organized, efficient, and communicative. I would absolutely recommend them to a friend or family member any time!
We love Brooklyn Tails and Trails! The owner, Nelli, and my dog walker, Isaiah, are super communicative and reliable. Isaiah always sends adorable photos of my dog's adventures with her other furry friends, and the group walks have been amazing for my dog's socialization! They've also been able to accommodate additional ad hoc walks when I've needed in a pinch. Definitely recommend!
After a terrible experience at House Pet Grooming and Trainer in the Bronx, we were understandably nervous about boarding our two cats again. In April, we decided to try Woofs 'n Whiskers, and they completely exceeded our expectations. The staff took excellent care of our pets, and it was clear they were well-fed, hydrated, and comfortable throughout their 7-day stay. The only downside was the drive to Brooklyn during rush hour, but it was worth every minute for the peace of mind we received. If you're looking for a place that genuinely cares for your pets, Woofs 'n Whiskers is the way to go.
I recently started using daycare and boarding at woofs n whiskers. They came highly recommended from my veterinarian. Extremely pleased is an understated rating. The facility is fabulous, indoor and outdoor. The staff is efficient and kind. They emailed me immediately when there was a minor problem. I highly recommend them and Buddie (my dog) does as well.
It’s a dream facility for dogs! Nice & sunny huge outside space. Stuff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable to give our puppy here to stay. I recommend Woofs ‘n Whiskers!
I have used them a lot for boarding when I had to go on work trips but after the last boarding experience, I will not be using them again. Below is what I had emailed them for a more detailed reference. "I spoke to someone on the phone (I failed to get her name) and let her know that I will be sending this email along so I can share the feedback in detail. I board Saba with WNW quite often. The last boarding experience was from 8/13-8/16. 1 - At 1152am on 8/16/24, I emailed and said I am running a bit behind and will arrive at 1pm. I ended up arriving at around 110pm. The checkout took so long, longer than usual. I waited nearly 20-25 minutes for Saba to come out. When she did come out, I was informed that the towel/blanket I had sent was not ready for return due to being soiled (i asked if she had soiled it somehow via bowel movement and I was told not at all, but that it just got dirty and it was put in the wash and was not ready) and that it was in the washer and maybe the next time I bring Saba, I can retrieve it. I said that is fine, as Saba was out already and was excited and pulling to go home. However, I gave over an hour of a heads up for my arrival and it is clear that there was not a proper check out process performed. Nearly 30 minutes of waiting to get my dog in addition to missing items (towel + see #3 below) signals disorganization to say the least. 2 - After I put Saba in the car, I returned to WNW to make a note to WNW staff that each time Saba is returned, the chain is not looped correctly, and I showed a group of WNW employees how to loop the chain. I cannot help but note that as a dog boarding/daycare place, knowing how to place collars and chains properly on a dog should be something that every person working there should know - should have been trained on. 3 - When I returned home, I noticed that the long, clear plastic tupperware container that I had sent was missing. I called WNW to ask about the missing tupperware, to help locate it. The person on the phone let me know that they did indeed locate it and that there was also a tube of Freshpet food in there. So not only was this not returned to me but there was food left in it and there should have not been ANY food left if the feeding instruction was followed. It was a one pounder which is ONE MEAL's worth. At this point, I expressed to the person on the phone that from the check-out time to missing items, this whole experience felt very unorganized and frankly untrustworthy in terms of care. I was beginning to doubt how things were communicated about the feeding instruction, as well as how things were organized AND communicated for check out. It just seemed everywhere, scattered, unorganized and irresponsible. 4 - Then a few hours later, I noticed that Saba was licking the bottom of her legs excessively and I noticed that she had scrapes (see attached pictures) on the exact same location of her hind legs. It didn't look like some one time scrape or injury, but it looked like something that took place from prolonged scraping. It is nothing major, but I would like some explanation of how she could have gotten these scrapes. I feel there should be a regular and final examination of the dog's overall state, and if that was done this would and should have been noticed and communicated. I do feel that the quality, communication and organization of WNW have rapidly declined over the last few boarding experiences that I have had. After this last experience - which also has me making an extra trip to pick up the leftover food (which should not have been), food container and the missing towel - I have lost trust in WNW to take care of Saba with care and due diligence."
We LOVE Woofs 'n' Whiskers -- have been bringing our 2-year-old Husky for doggie day care twice per week since he was about four months old... We now often refer to the Woofs crew as "Leo's other family"... They have a large outdoor space in which the dogs can run around, the dogs are arranged by group so they're playing with dogs of similar size/energy, and the staff is amazing and and seems to care for the dogs like their own. They routinely post pictures of the pets in their care on Instagram (I've posted a few here), and are happy to email a picture at any point if requested. Leo PULLS me to the door when we arrive in the morning, and is happy and content (and tired!) when I pick him up. We're so grateful to be able to trust WnW with Leo -- he's come so far socially and we know it's in large part because of Woofs 'n' Whiskers. One of the best in NYC!!
I have been using this day care for years, this is my second dog that they have attended to. Have used them for dog walking, day care and boarding. The space is great because they have a very large outdoor space and the dogs get alot of activity and socialization. We have used them for boarding for the last few years and there have been no issues. Have not been able to find anywhere else that has such a facility.
Woofs has saved our lives, we have 4 dogs with different needs and characters, and they give each one special treatment. They care about my babies as much as I do and that for me it's just marvelous. We have left them there several times when we travel for work or vacations, always found them healthy and happy when we came back. Darla, female pug, suffers of allergies and they give her her daily pill and once in a long travel her allergies attack her and woofs took her to the vet immidiately. Their staff is nice and caring, Marisol specifically, Mari is adorable and knows everything about my dogs. I just have good things to say, keep the great work!
My dog has stayed at Woofs at least 10 times since she was a puppy. Her stays were usually between 2 and 6 days. After her last stay, I will never go back there. Two hours before I was due to pick her up, I received a phone call from the front desk at Woofs. I was asked if I wanted them to bathe my dog because she had diarrhea. I asked her to back up and to tell me about the diarrhea. She said, “Oh, she only had it twice this morning but don’t worry, there’s no blood.” When I got there, she changed her story and told me that my dog had diarrhea for TWO days—-but no blood, she added again. She claimed that my dog ate and played. Now, this is a dog who never once ate an entire meal at Woofs before. Previously, I was always told she barely ate or that she didn’t eat at all. When they brought my dog to me, she was shaking. She continued to shake all the way home in the car. This had never happened before when I picked her up from Woofs. As soon as we exited the car, she had diarrhea with BLOOD IN IT. She had blood in her diarrhea for five days. We had it tested and it was negative. The vet said she must have been highly stressed at Woofs. Once again, this had never happened before when I brought her home from Woofs. I noticed that the entire staff of Woofs has changed. I didn’t recognize one person there at the end of 2023 or during the last visit in January. I don’t know what they are doing there but they completely failed to take care of my dog. I hope she was not hurt in any way but I will never know the truth. She stunk like cleaning fluid when I picked her up, she was shaking and she had blood in her diarrhea contrary to what Woofs told me. I don't like being lied to and they should have called me about her diarrhea immediately. There used to be lovely people working there. The two tall young women always put me at ease and my dog adored them. Last summer, one of them even said she gave my dog cool whip in a kong when she wouldn’t eat her regular food. That was the kind of attention my dog used to get at Woofs but it wasn’t what she got in January. I spoke to an acquaintance in the park who used to send her dog there often for long stays. She said she didn’t like that when she brought her dog home from recent stays, he was going straight to his water bowl because he was so thirsty. She has started to take her dog to other doggy boarding places. I am going to hire a neighbor to stay in my home. I feel guilty that I left my dog at Woofs with a horrible new staff.
I boarded my 2 cats here for 9 days. It was my first time boarding them. Woofs and Whiskers was very responsive to emails requesting updates on how my cats were doing. I found the facility to be clean and the staff was friendly. I also found the pricing great. Especially compared to what other boarding places offer. What really won me over was that they let the cats out of the enclosures to stretch daily. No other facility I contacted offered that. I would use this business again, and would definitely recommend to anyone in need of boarding.
We will never bring our dog here again. Not only did our pup need 20 stitches in her paw after she was boarded there, but they never even alerted us of the incident when it happened. We noticed the deep gash in her paw immediately when we got her home and had to reach out to Woofs and Whiskers to inquire about what happened. Clearly they are not paying enough attention to what is happening at their facility, as our dog was visibly in pain and bleeding with an injury that clearly happened multiple days before we brought her home. It breaks my heart and is completely unacceptable, especially when paying top dollar to ensure our pet is in good hands.
My doodle, Huckleberry, absolutely loves his time at PUPS daycare! It seems to be one of his favorite places—he gets so excited the moment we turn onto their street. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the pets in their care. I especially appreciate the daycare report cards they provide; it’s such a thoughtful detail that adds to the exceptional experience. I feel comfortable with Huckleberry spending time there knowing he is in such loving and capable hands.
My dog hates getting her nails done. She alligator rolls and tries everything she can to wriggle out of the groomer’s grip. Nicole was very patient with her and was able to grind her nails nice and short. We’ve been told by other groomers that they can’t complete the service, but Nicole tried many different tactics and let me help hold her. While I was waiting, I got a tour of the facility and the front-desk worker was very nice. I was very happy with the price as well. I will be back as it was overall the most pleasant experience my dog could have had considering she hates anyone going near her nails!
We love our amazing groomer, Jeanette, at PUPS Pet Club in Downtown Brooklyn. She is awesome and our little old Pomeranian man is madly in love with her too. We highly recommend Jeanette for all the dogs out there.
Raymond has been going to Pups Pet Club for months now and he gets very excited whenever he arrives that he doesn't even bother to say goodbye to us. He plays so much throughout the day at the daycare that he is all tired out by the time he gets home. I also purchased the premium membership so I can check on my dog throughout the day, which is very reassuring for pet owners. Also the report cards are the cutest! He is one happy pup!
Pups is fantastic! Micah, Nathan, and the whole team take such great care of our puppy, Vera. She absolutely loves going and always comes home happy and well-exercised. We even had to board her last minute for a few days overnight, and the process was so smooth and easy—it really put our minds at ease. Arianna has also been an amazing trainer for Vera, helping her make incredible progress with her behavior, walks, etc. We couldn't be happier with the love and attention Vera gets at Pups! Highly recommend!
Marley..loves Jeanette loves her.. she has been grooming her for years..I'm very comfortable with her..we communicate about what's best for her..which is key in any type of relationship..I just drop her off and she works her magic..we love her..❣️😍 …
Arianna is amazing with Luca, my 2 year old, highly energetic yorkie! After just one session Luca's pulling reduced by 95%. I am learning how to effectively communicate with him and its now easy to redirect him. The real test came after our lesson when I was able to successfully take him on the best walk I've ever had with him. Others have noticed the change in Luca and are pleasantly surprised. Arianna is professional, fun, and very knowledgeable. It can be challenging to train Luca in my highly populated neighborhood in Brooklyn, but Arianna has proven to be more than capable. I highly recommend her!
My dog had a blast coming to daycare here. I just completed our trial day and loved that they have the video camera feature because it made me feel so much better being able to check in on her during the day to see how she was adjusting to the new daycare. Highly recommend coming here. I'll be bringing my little floof here consistently. Great staff - very responsive and kind.
Our precious miniature dachshund, Blondie, came home with an upset stomach after attending this daycare for two days in a row. After we asked the staff to ensure she's not eating anything she shouldn't be we were told she regularly eats feces from other dogs including _twice_ that same day! The staff does not attend any of the animals in their care and are only concerned with gouging you for your money. When we picked up Blondie for the last time from this horrid place the staff & manager, Mika, promised us a refund for our package (which we never received after many ignored emails & calls) but tried to sell us dog training. If only they exerted as much effort in attending people's pets as they do while trying to sell to you. Blondie attended Dogtopia in LIC for a year prior to PUPS Pet Club and never had any issues in a daycare with other dogs. Please don't subject your dog to this place.
We love Pups Pet Club! I send my two dogs there, and the team is absolutely amazing with them. I feel like they took the time to get my dogs when they were new, and give them specialized attention we didn’t find in other daycares. The facilities are super clean, and they offer awesome “extras” (grooming, training, boarding) to make it a one-stop-shop for fur-babies. Would give more stars if I was able!
