Dog Sitters in Fort Hancock, NJ

I think my cats really liked Catarina and Remi, evident from the timely updates and photos. I initially had trepidations about my long haired cat Clementine, who is prone to mats in her fur, especially when I am gone for 4 weeks. No problem! She was in fabulous shape when I returned, not a single mat to be seen. I was so happy. House sitting can be harder than one might imagine. And mine is a large house, where many rooms are lived in in the course of a month, with two people and four cats. I think this was the first long sit for Catarina and Remi, and perhaps they aren’t often guests in peoples homes for weeks at a time. I arrived home to weeks of dirty towels to be laundered, and dirty linens still on the bed. Yikes! Towards the end of the sit, they’d requested (at their expense) a housekeeper to clean after they left and before I arrived home. And that was good. As scheduling and last minute plans happen, it was I who arrived first, ahead of the housekeeper. And I was glad they’d seen that they needed help. It’s a chore and you have to stay on top of it. Bathrooms, kitchen, it’s a lot to tend to. I’ve only recently discovered the forums, and I’m sure one can find lots of info on what homeowners expect upon return. My month out of the country was made easier with timely updates and happy and clean cats when I came home. Catarina was very intuitive and gave me a heads up on my senior kitty who’s hair had become quite oily, and I appreciate that. Great cat care.

Lucy was great. Communication was easy and not too much. She came during a snow storm on time. Very reliable. The pets seem to be taken with her. We recommend. ;)

Teresa was nothing short of a perfect sitter. She took our dog on lots of fun walks and adventures. We returned to a super-clean house, with washed sheets and towels and not a single thing out of place. We'd happily have her back any time!

Christina is a caring and loving person. She was attentive as we described the habits of our 5 cats and made sure to be there for them completely while we were away. She was respectful of everything in our home and even went so far as to buy us some cat food that she thought would be helpful for one of our cats. She was in communication with us while we were away, letting us know what was going on every step of the way. I highly recommend Christina to look after your pets!

Anna and I got on well from the get go of conversing through Facetime. We made a plan for her to be with Osity cat for 10 days or so and everything lined up beautifully. Osity and Anna took to one another immediately and I was assured all was well with several photos and updates. I appreciated that Anna was concerned that she wouldn't be back to the house until very late one evening as she had a meeting and reached out about the need to have a local friend pop into feed Osity. Very considerate and caring and would welcome her to stay with Osity and keep my garden watered again.

Outstanding experience! Carolyn made our dogs pet sitting so unique and fantastic that I would highly recommend her! But not only that, when we came back everything was clean and in order. She will be missed but hopefully we can have her back soon! ♥️

We would leave Vanessa 6 stars if we could! We have thousands of photos of PJ ourselves, but she took the best photos of him that we have ever seen! She was extremely communicative and sent daily updates and the most adorable videos and photos of the pets! PJ clearly loved her very much! The apartment was left in perfect condition, and we felt completely assured throughout the entire trip that everyone was in excellent hands. It’s been phenomenal having Vanessa, and we would love to have her back again!

April was absolutely top-notch - I can't recommend her strongly enough. She took excellent care of the house, was self-sufficient, and kept me up to date on my cat's welfare with regular check-ins. Most importantly though is the way she looked after my cat, who is fairly timid and usually takes a while to warm to people. It was clearly love at first sight for him with April - from the photos she sent I could see that he felt extremely comfortable with her and was a very happy cat - in fact, I think he might be missing her and he and I hope April might come back again one day :-).

I cannot say enough good things about Kate and Marty! They were both absolutely phenomenal! We received frequent updates and photos of our kitties and we knew our fur babies were in great hands. It made being away from them (and our house) stress free so that we could enjoy our trip. The house was spotless when we came home and the kitties seemed so relaxed and well cared for. I highly recommend them for your situation and welcome the opportunity to be able to invite them back! Thank you both so much!

Margaux is the sweetest human and animal lover! I got daily updates on my animals and she couldn't have been better with them. Plus the house was spotless when I returned. She is welcome back anytime.

Sulley came to the rescue last minute when a friend bailed on pet care. Sulley was so responsive and transparent throughout the entire process, sharing ETAs, photos, and details about our cat, Rudie. My partner and I instantly felt we could trust Sulley and are so grateful for the attention and care they gave Rudie while we were away. They also went out of their way to wash linens before we returned and left a sweet note about their stay with Rudie. I highly recommend Sulley for any sit, and will definitely be reaching out to them again in the future

Tamarin and Colin were perfect guests! My dog Ruby was clearly very happy with them and got lots of cuddles. They took great care of my apartment too, even changing the bed linens and doing laundry before they left. I would be thrilled to have them stay here and look after Ruby again!
