Josh was an excellent cat and house sitter-- he was the perfect mix of reliable, conscientious, and flexible. We were grateful that he reached out to ask us a few important questions about our cats when they came up; he also helped us out while we were gone by coordinating with a neighbor so she could pick up something we'd borrowed. Our plants were well cared for when we got home, in spite of that there was a heat wave in Texas while we were away, and Josh left the house clean-- we were so glad to come home to a tidy space. He was also just a delight to talk with when we communicated with him about the house sit... we highly recommend him as a pet/house sitter, and we'd be happy to have him back to watch our cats and house again!
Sue was the perfect house sitter. She used her time here to explore the area and took my dogs Darcy and Lottie with her in her car. They went somewhere different every day walking, and Darcy had plenty of opportunities to swim. Sue sent photos and videos of their adventures and it was clear that the dogs were having a brilliant time. It was immediately apparent that my dogs were confident and very happy in her care, and I'm in no doubt that they would love to see her again. Sue's visit coincided with a few days of warm, dry weather so she ensured the plants in pots in the garden were watered. The house was clean and tidy on my return. Sue had stripped the bed and washed and dried the bedding, towels and tea towels. There was nothing for me to do but enjoy the flowers she had left around the house and sample the delicious jam she made while here. It was an absolute pleasure having Sue at my home and she will be welcomed back by us all if she ever wishes to come back.
