Julia
This was a last minute sit so everything moved quickly. In saying that Julia and Ben were amazing. I had some issues with trains and they were very understanding. They provided detailed information beforehand and also on arrival to ensure everything went smoothly which it did. They were available during the sit for any questions and provided lots of recommendations of things to do in the area.
Stormy and cloudy were great cats although sometimes a little cheeky. They enjoyed playing and being brushed. They were super friendly and would tell you if they didn't want to play anymore or they were hungry.
The area is a little bit out of town but easy enough to catch the train. One thing to note is there is some construction noise during the day but not enough to cause too many problems. The driveway is still being worked on so if you have heavy luggage I would suggest going through the car park.

Eric and Janet
Janet and Eric are true pet lovers, as well as being kind, thoughtful and generous hosts. When Hoggy broke his leg four days before our sit, they seriously considered cancelling their three week vacation. Reassured by us, they decided to go, leaving us to hold the fort.

Despite surgery to provide external fixation, Hoggy was a trooper, enduring cage rest, twice daily dressing changes and the indignity of being carried to the campo to relieve himself. He still managed to be loving and cheerful.

Alfie remained concerned about his buddy, even when Hoggy got to come out for lunch without him. He's just a love bunny! Speaking of which, he does.... love bunnies, and chases them with gusto on his afternoon walks!

Molly, the cat, is showing her age, but she is also very affectionate, and loves to curl up on your lap and watch Netflix in the evening.

Eric and Janet's house is in a nice neighborhood, and Dave met many of their dog walking friends on his adventures with Alfie. They were also very helpful and welcoming.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this sit to anyone who truly enjoys the company of furry friends!

Ragnhild Elisabeth
We had a wonderful time in Lyme Regis caring for Dylan. He's one of the most adorable dogs we've looked after and a real character, full of fun and a real love bundle. There are some lovely walks on the doorstep but be warned, there are hills! If you weren't fit when you got there you certainly would be by the end! The sea front at Lyme is easily reached either by a walk along the river or by a short drive (if you don't want to do the hilly bit!). Dylan is more than happy to travel in the car. Pubs and cafes welcome dogs which means you can take a breather before heading home. Dylan has a wonderful temperament and is very good with other dogs. He loves playing with his ball and a walk to the nearby field to play is the highlight of his day. Lyme is very dog-friendly and the people are so lovely. Plenty of responsible dog-owners and pleasant exchanges when out walking, Dylan seems to be quite the celebrity! Marc and Ragnhild made us most welcome in their lovely home and we were lucky to spend a bit of time with Marc before the hand-over which really helped. Can't recommend this sit highly enough, you'll have a wonderful time!

Maisie is a joy to take care of. She's very sweet and playful. Thanh gave us all the information we needed and was very responsive. Overall, this is a very good sit.
