Pet Sitters in Fort Myers Beach, FL

Alice and Doug stayed with our active dogs for a week, and it could not have been a better experience! They gave my young dogs lots of exercise and i could tell they also loved on them! They were excellent communicators too. I could enjoy my daughter’s wedding without a single concern! The house was perfectly clean when i came home too :-)!

For whatever reason, the animals decided to test Scott...he was a champion! All critters felt loved and secure, and it's always nice coming home to a clean house. Highly recommended!

Belinda was absolutely wonderful! She cared for our little Italian greyhound and left the house in beautiful order. She was communicative and prompt to respond throughout and before her stay. We are very thankful to have connected with her. Thank you, Belinda!

I have had Patricia and Saul pet sit for me several times now. They are the best! They are very attentive and loving toward my dogs. They are very reliable and tidy and everything is in perfect condition when I get back. They love both cats and dogs. They are great communicators and send lots of nice photos and messages to keep up with what's going on at home. I would highly recommend them. I will definitely have them again.

Susan and Henry were fabulous sitters for our Beamy! I loved the way they communicated with me using photos and captions keeping me informed about how Beamy was doing. I'm always a little nervous leaving Beamy in the hands of strangers but after meeting Susan and Henry I felt like they were good friends. Susan asked great questions and I could tell right away they were committed pet sitters! They left the house in excellent shape. We would be very happy to have them house/pet sit for us in the future.

We keep asking them back! We are so happy they are available to take care of our parrots and home. It's a great fit! Birds love them and our home is spotless. Thank you Rubert and Daniela for an amazing job!

Todd was great with our cats and house. The cats were very contented this morning and didn't even greet us when we got home ! They acted like nothing had phased them. Would recommend Todd with 5 + stars !

This is a duplicate review, as Pallas extended her sit with us. Wish I could be more creative! Pallas was wonderful. Very self sufficient and kept us informed of our Kitties activities and care. And she went the extra mile and continued her sit when the next scheduled sitter asked if we could find a substitute (we knew she was suddenly burdened by her sit, which Pallas had already taken most of). We came back to a perfect house and perfectly cared for kitties. Hope to have Pallas back again.

David and I clicked on the Zoom interview, but it was not a great fit, ultimately. The pets are fine, so the most important thing is that. And the house is fine. I guess I've been spoiled by great sitters who left our house impeccably clean and communicated daily with pictures and information that clearly indicated they knew our pets well and were taking really good care of them and our house. This seems to be the zeewoi standard. But I had to contact David every time I wanted information. He never contacted us once, although he did respond within the hour when I contacted him. But not a picture. Nothing. He even jokingly complained that our cat wasn't being warm enough to him and he considered himself a cat whisperer and was a little peeved. I laughed along and shrugged it off because he was such a nice guy. But I think he found my detailed instructions too informative? Over the 25 years I've had pet sitters some have joked about my very thorough instructions, but everyone, until David, told me they very much appreciated too much information rather than not enough. It doesn't appear he paid them much attention. He didn't recycle. He didn't take in our mail, several days worth was left sitting in our mailbox, which he explained was because we hadn't explicitly asked him to bring it in. The same was true about sending pics of the animals or communication. If I'd asked he would have, but I didn't, so he didn't. The same went for a package that was delivered the day we came home. It arrived at noon, 5 hours before he left our house, but he just left it outside. He said he figured it "would be fine" out there until we got home. He also left earlier than we'd agreed to over text. It's clear if you read the instructions what time the dogs eat dinner and I told him to please stay until dinner, walk them as instructed and then feed them before he left. He left an hour and a half earlier than that to meet friends at the beach. He also didn't follow the instructions for feeding one of our cats, about not leaving her food out because the dogs would eat it before she got a chance to. He did this at least twice that I know of. There was a coating of sand in the shower. The bed was made-ish. He didn't bother with the wash cloth on the bathroom counter I asked him to use to wipe it down so the poured cement doesn't stain. It was untouched, perfectly folded and the post-it note was still stuck to it . The floor was not swept, lots of fur tumbleweeds, although I'd left the vacuum out. And when I challenged him his response was that, "he was not a professional." Except that this site is based on a pay-based membership and at least I expect professional behavior from the sitters who I entrust with my pets and my house. He was taken aback by my texts challenging him when we got home and had discovered all the above. He said he's received nothing but good reviews before and I have no reason not to believe him. He also said he "probably won't use the app again." He said he was "feeling a little attacked" by my observations, even explaining that he'd been asked back by other sitters, and one even paid him some $, though he hadn't asked for it and never would. I've never ever had anything but great relationships with the sitters I've had in my home, through this site or before over the years. Some were long-term sitters for over a decade. I liked David very much as a person over the phone. I have to say we were not a good match once I came home and saw the lack of attention to our instructions, and that he hadn't cleaned up after himself thoroughly before leaving. Not all fits are good ones. This one wasn't for me., though I wish David the best, as he did me.

My Sheena was the litmus test for what a wonderful pet sitter Heather is. Sheena is my shy, skittish cat, but she warmed up to Heather pretty quickly. Heather sent photos daily, so I had peace of mind about how well my cats were doing. Heather left my home in immaculate condition -- probably cleaner than when I left. Not only do I feel like I have a new go-to pet sitter, I feel like I have a new friend. Heather is one of the best pet sitters I've had.
