We couldn’t have been happier with Dan! We had a good feeling right from the beginning when reading Dan’s bio and then having a zoom call with him we were totally sold! He is truly a delightful person and he took perfect care of our home and gardens! We don’t have pets but we have quite extensive gardens and all the plants were thriving when we got home. Our house was super clean and he even had our vases filled with cut flowers.
Not only did Dan do a wonderful job of house sitting but we feel we have found a new friend! We were sad we didn’t have more time to just hang out. We highly recommend Dan to anyone who needs a kind, loving and fun house sitter!!!

Judit
Judit and Ian were incredibly generous, communicative and so helpful with tips of where to go exploring and what we could get up to in and around their city.
Their home was lush; cosy, spacious, and most significantly, Poppy and Peanut were there! They’re gorgeous cats, who both let you know when they want human interaction and when they don’t.
Peanut was especially nervous with us for the first few days, but we just made sure to give her space. Judy and Ian emphasised construction work had been going on in the apartment before we’d arrived, and so, she may have still felt unsettled from that. Her favourite spot was under the sofa (but wedged in between its lining - you’ll see 😉) so just made sure to leave food and water close to her. Got plenty of strokes by the second week, but ultimately, as long as she seemed happy doing her own thing, we didn’t feel the need to push ourselves into her space.
Poppy is a purr and meow hero - she’s always making herself known and really loves tickles under the chin whilst she snoozing in her tree-bed. She’s incredibly affectionate and was up for a few small plays with the laser and other toys, but it was very hot whilst we there, so both cats mainly wanted to stay shaded and sleep.
We went running through the local parks (lovely!), spent a day at the museums in Bonn and generally toured around. Lidl was extremely close, so we mainly cooked in the flat, but that worked great for us as we sat on the terrace and watched Poppy and Peanut frolic in the shade!
Absolutely delightful stay with two lovely cats and very appreciative to have had such communicative hosts. Thank you Judit, Ian, Poppy and Peanut!! Hopefully see you again soon 🍓

Barbara
Blossom kitty sit in paradise! Barbara is so nice, an excellent communicator, and accurate in every aspect of her listing. Their home is clean, comfortable, and immaculate with a fantastic view and ocean breeze. The area has so much to offer in the way of restaurants, shops, and beautiful beaches very nearby.
Last, but not least, adorable little Blossom the calico kitty! Blossom is a cautious and shy little girl who takes a bit to warm up. She enjoys a little petting here and there to begin with and likes a little more attention as she warms up. She sleeps most of the day and becomes a bit more active at night. As she becomes more comfortable, her nightly vocalizations get fewer and far between. She is easily reassured and will come cuddle once she is comfortable.
We enjoyed our time in Dana Point with Blossom and would recommend this sit. Thanks again Barbara!

Shelby
Shelby and Jared were wonderful hosts with solid communication from start to finish! Their adorable Roo has such a sweet demeanor and is a dream to sit for. She is super playful and is great on long walks through their cute neighborhood. She is also such a cuddle bug and will soak up all of your pets and belly rubs. You’ll be glowing on how much love you receive from this dog!

Their house is just lovely —clean, comfortable, and well-decorated plus you’ll have a well-kept backyard with nice outdoor lighting. Easy access to downtown and there is a lot within miles of their house. Great stay overall —thank you for hosting me!

Bob and Sharon were great! Evan and I were able to stop by their house to meet Bailey and get a quick tour of their home before they left. They were welcoming, communicated throughout the whole process, and gave great recommendations for things to do and see. Bailey is a sweetheart and she quickly warmed up to us. She loved going for a ride in the car, and we were able to take her out and about with us. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and we would love to sit for Bob and Sharon again!

Marjolaine
Marjolaine and Andrew were great hosts, very accomodating and left clear instructions. I looked after their cats Summer and Cutie for 10 days, the cats are mostly happy to stay indoors and easy to care for.

Emma
I had a lovely time with little Nema, who was very sweet, energetic and great fun to look after. Emma was very welcoming and hospitable, and staying over felt like a home away from home. We also had great communication leading up to and during my stay.

Would highly recommend!
