Cécile
I had such a lovely stay at Cecile and Pascal’s place minding their gorgeous cat and tortoise, plus pool and garden.

Cecile invited me to arrive the evening before, to show me around and meet the animals and we had an interesting talk over a delicious supper.
Their place is lovely - spacious and artistic, full of her amazing calligraphy and other beautiful pieces.
The pool was so refreshing, I had great swims at least once a day. :)

The village has sweet quiet country paths (which I went jogging on each morning) and a Boulangerie.
Moonoone their cat was relaxed to start and then got even friendlier every day, she is smart and interesting. Their tortoise is shyer but came out for flowers I picked for it in the last week.
Cecile sent me great details before and communicated quickly while they were away.
I highly recommend minding their lovely pets and home if you’re lucky enough. :)

April
Wow, just wow! We had an amazing time sitting for sweet little Dexter during our time at April's lovely beachside paradise. She was such a gracious host and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time from start to finish. Her outstanding communication and thorough instructions helped everything go smoothly, which is always much appreciated. She was even sweet enough to send lots of great local food and entertainment recs our way which really helped us explore Manhattan Beach through the eyes of a local. Her home is an absolute slice of beachy heaven-- extremely clean, comfortable and just a few short steps to the beach. What more could you ask for?! Dexter is the sweetest little guy, and we had a blast hanging with him for the week. He and Brett became the best of buds, so we hope sit for him again in the future. We had 5-star experience all the way around and sincerely appreciate April for being such a laid-back, kind and gracious host. Highly recommend!
