Sevenoaks is a lovely town with pretty shops and restaurants. The home is located walking distance to the train station which will take you to London within 25 minutes. Lorna and Chris have a beautiful home in a very safe neighborhood. There is a super large garden great for the dog to run around. The home has a large kitchen and spacious rooms. The location is fabulous, close to grocery stores, shops, restaurants and to beautiful National Trust properties. Lorna is an excellent communicator, she gave us tons of useful information. Both Lorna and Chris welcomed us with a lovely lunch and supper with their family which was greatly appreciated. The best part of the sit was Dougall. He is an easy dog to care for, loves to walk and play in the backyard. He is smart, obedient, affectionate and loves to be around you. We recommend this sit 100% and would even consider coming back. Thanks for choosing us for this fantastic sit.
Bill and Sherry were gracious hosts. They were kind when we needed extra time in deciding the details of our sit, as our initial sits in Canada were canceled because of the wildfires, requiring a lot of adjustment on our part. They first met with us online, and then trained us in person before leaving. Zoey and Fiona were sweet dogs we enjoyed spending time with. Zoey earned her reputation as a “Velcro dog,” who often would choose to be inside with me, rather than outside. Fiona, I learned, was bred to dig, and she too was true to her nature, really loving her time outdoors. Robbie the cat gradually became more friendly as time went on, and soon was joining the rest of us in the living room. It was fun to be in this historic house, in the quaint town of Sea View with other historic homes, and with easy access to the Discovery Trail right near the ocean. Many of the huge rhododendron bushes/trees (as tall as the houses) were blooming during my stay, adding beauty and interest. This sit is best suited to those already used to blocking out street noise/other noise, as the house is right behind an auto repair shop on the main street, or for those comfortable using a white noise machine or app.
Gus and Hobbes (the pups) have wonderful enthusiasm for their sitter guests and an easy routine. Allysondra & George provided excellent instructions and orientation. Their spacious home is located in a tranquil neighborhood between beaches and downtown Charleston. Even in the July heat, their house was cool and comfy. Happy pups make for a memorable pet sit! Don’t pass this one by!
Nyshie is a great host, she's welcoming, helpful and communication with her was great. Ella is independent and sweet, she takes some time to get to know you but once she's confortable she loves to snuggle around. Instrucciones to feed and look after her were clear and easy to follow. The apt has a great location, quiet and lovely street, close to cafes and restaurants and lovely area to walk around. Would be happy to go back anytime!
Anne-Marie and her family are so kind and impressive. I got to know them a little bit the day before the sit while I was introduced to Netflix and given a tour of their home. If I needed anything, I could walk less than a mile to get it. This sit was smooth as can be. Netflix is a doll and walks to elegantly. I loved every second hanging out with her. If she wasn’t playing, she was sleeping. She loves playing with her rope toy and like all cats, she’ll take your hair ties haha. She cuddles when she wants, but she’s too cute not to sneak a few cuddles. Thank you Anne-Marie! I had a lovely time.
Looking after Kota in the Wheelocks' lovely Pittsburgh house was a wonderful experience. They were so hospitable and kind, even letting me come a night early because of Amtrak schedules. They both showed me around the neighborhood and kept me well informed about Kota. Kota is a bit shy but will warm up to you quickly. He's very good at listening to commands and is adorable. I really enjoyed this sit and I'm grateful for the experience. Thanks again!
