This family was incredibly kind, thoughtful, funny and absolutely wonderful! Their sweet little Charlie was indeed sweet. He knew exactly what house to go back to when we would come back from our walks. I really enjoyed spending time with him. He is pretty relaxed, liked to cuddle, and was able to let me know when he needed something. Just an overall great little guy. His parents were so much fun to spend time with! We had lively conversations and we never ran out of things to talk about. What we did run out of was time to be together. I really enjoyed their company and we are all enjoying a new found friendship! Cuddles with sweet little Charlie and a new friendship with people who really are extraordinary! What more could you ask for?
Anne and Keith are lovely people with a great home and two especially great cats. Molly and Boots are both very sweet and independent girls who were a pleasure to hang out with. The home is bright and super clean and is located within walking distance of town. Wonderful sit for a wonderful family.
We really enjoyed looking after Jennifer and Dawn in Carol's lovely home. We were so comfortable and Carol made us very welcome and gave us an excellent briefing. There is lots of spectacular walking and cycling in the countryside around Holmfirth and it is easy to reach many larger towns and cities by car or by train from Huddersfield. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to places to eat out, including being able to walk to a lovely local pub that even has an Indian restaurant on site. We hope to be invited back again soon.
Anne is a very gracious host and her mid-century home is well appointed in a very accessible part of Bellevue. We had clear communication & texted while she was on her trip. The beautiful back yard & patio is lovely… a great place for morning coffee and bird watching. Leon, her shy cat was easy to care for and Anne let us know his favorite spot to hide if we couldn’t locate him when we arrived. He warmed up quickly with a few kibble treats! We would very much enjoy sitting for Anne & Leon in the future.
I had the pleasure of looking after Beth's two lovely cats, Zyg and Cosmo. Both cats were a delight and so easy to care for; I will miss them dearly! Beth was incredibly warm and welcoming, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Her communication was excellent, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Beth's home was perfect—clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The location is fantastic, situated right by the river and conveniently close to shops, cafes, and public transport. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend cat-sitting for Beth! X

Our family feels fortunate to have found such wonderful care givers. Our cats were drawn to them at the first meet and greet. So far, we have used, Not Your Average Pet Care, twice in the past few months. It is so easy to schedule on their website. We will continue to book with Not Your Average Pet Care, going forward. Based on the pictures they take during their visits, our cats appear to be happy, content and well cared for. Cuddles (“white nose”) and muffin (“dark nose”) are 4 year old litter mates. They have been having significant behavioral issues, such as redirected aggression and territory issues. Amber and Zach ensured they were kept separated from each other during each visit. Amber and Zach are reliable and conscientious. Our cats each take medication twice daily. Amber and Zach were able to administer their medications without difficulty. Amber and Zach are so good with our two dogs and our cat! They’re patient with the dogs (who can be a handful) and have helped train them to improve their recall. They’re very communicative and take the best pictures of our pets!
Amber started looking after Clooney a while ago. Clooney is 19 and I’d always had a friend check in on him when I traveled but when I started traveling more I knew I couldn’t impose on my friend and needed to find a professional. And that is Amber! She is wonderful and knows exactly what Clooney needs! When Amber brought Zach on I knew I hit the jackpot. Two amazingly caring people whom I trust completely. My only complaint is seeing some of the other reviews and pictures! Maybe Clooney isn’t their favorite after all and they just love all pets! Well I won’t tell Clooney. He will continue to believe that he is number one and I will continue to feel totally comfortable when I travel knowing that Clooney is getting the best care imaginable.

We rescued our dog, Hunter, in August. He had a lot of anxiety and we thought daycare would help him get comfortable with other dogs and people. Petworks has exceeded our expectations! Hunter loves going to daycare and has come so far since he started. I would have to carry him inside when he first started, and now he starts wagging his tail in excitement once he realizes where he's going! The staff is extremely personable and very accommodating. Petworks is great! Our Lab, Rosie gets so excited when we ask her if she wants to go to school, and when we drive up to drop her off at Petworks, she loses her mind! We have been taking our dog to Pet Works for about three years. We tried other places, but this is where we landed. It was just the best fit for us. Our dog Bogey absolutely loves it. All I have to say in the morning is ‘do you want to go see your friends’ and he runs to the door. As we pull into the parking lot he gets so excited. He can’t wait to get out of the car. He comes home happy and exhausted. Steve and his entire staff are amazing. they know all the dogs by name and who they are friends with, and truly love their jobs. If you are trying to decide where to bring your pup, give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Love Petworks! We have used them for both boarding and day care. It is so tough to leave your furbaby when you go away. But we are able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing he is in good hands and being cared for as we would care for him. He loves going for day care just to get some needed play in.

Petworks is always very accommodating even for our dog that is not good with other dogs. They are very attentive and give him attention even though he can be mean to other dogs the employees still take the time to play with him and give him attention.
