Cat Sitters in Foxham

We have the pleasure of Karen & Steve sitting for us for the second time. They such a super couple and our dogs love them, we feel so happy when they are looking after everything for us . Thoroughly recommend them .

Sophie was absolutely amazing, she took well care of my animals, Norman my young cat felt in love with her and slept with her at nights. House was spotless even better then I left it. I would love to have Sophie at the church again. Highly recommend her

This was the second time Lisa and Steve looked after Torva, who recognised them which was lovely. They were brilliant when on the first night Torva decided to spread her paws and stay out all night. She returned fine but having both of them there was very reassuring. Their communication was as ever really reliable. They looked after our home beautifully, it was lovely and clean when we came back. We got to meet them both this time which was really great, it felt like seeing old friends! I have no hesitation in recommending them to look after your pets and home. We look forward to having them look after Torva again and so know she really appreciates having them too.

They seemed really lovely people when we FT them and via their communications prior to the sit. Due to our timings we couldn’t meet face to face but Celia and Mike were very happy with this arrangement. Alfie was clearly very well looked after, brushed regularly and very content on our return. We had periodic updates and photos of him as we had agreed. The house was left beautifully clean and tidy and we hoped they enjoyed their stay as well. They were very reliable and communication was great. We would certainly offer them another sit!

They did a good job however arrived later than expected (to be fair due to traffic I assume) and left a lot earlier than initially implied. They did give the dog his dinner before they left but this was around 16:45 rather than his usual 19:00 ish. Not a huge deal but it would have been nice to been informed beforehand rather than a message after they’d already gone. Otherwise they were clean and tidy!

Abigail looked after my two cats for a long weekend. She went above and beyond by arriving at the flat early in the morning before I had to leave, allowing me to show her everything in person, even though I had offered to explain it via pictures or video. The flat was left clean and tidy, and she even washed the bedding and towels, although I hadn't requested that. The cats seemed relaxed and happy (after calming down from the incident described below), so I’m sure she showered them with plenty of love and attention. However, there was a significant mishap: the kitchen window was left wide open. My cats, who are indoor cats, could easily have jumped out (and had been, as they were “wild” and Sky had a little dirt in their fur) Fortunately, it had been raining, so they were inside when I got home, hours after Abigail had left. I was shocked, especially since there are roads on both sides of the flat. I had specifically mentioned that the window should only be opened under constant supervision. I understand it was a mistake, and overall, she did a good job. However, I can’t give 5/5, as this was one of the most important things. I’m just relieved the cats were home and safe. In the future, I’ll make sure to over emphasise the importance of keeping the window closed—or secure it in a way that sitters cannot open it. 😬

Luke was great. Really straightforward to communicate with, reliable. Took good care of Eezy and left our place spotless.

Elles and Steve were great sitters for Buddy. Before the sit, they communicated well which included a video call and then WhatsApp messages. They arrived promptly on day 1 and showed great attention to Buddy and our house on arrival. They provided the perfect amount of updates we were after, and Buddy seemed to be very well looked after. We returned to a happy cat and a very tidy place. We would recommend Elles and Steve to anyone.

Anna was absolutely lovely. She was so friendly, chatty and flexible. I wouldn’t hesitate leaving my dogs with her again in the future. It was such a comfort knowing that they were in her care and that I didn’t need to worry.

Tulin and Bruce were excellent. We were able to relax in the knowledge that our home and pets were in good hands. Communication was very good. Definitely recommend

Simon, alongside his partner Rose were great house-sitters. They looked after the house and pets (cat and chickens) with great care and kept us up-to-date with all comings and going. It was very reassuring having them in situ whilst we were away.

Emily was excellent. I have an elderly diabetic cat with complex medical needs and Emily handled all the different medications (including twice daily insulin injections) very well. Emily bonded with my cat immediately on arrival, and I returned home after my holiday to a calm and happy cat and a clean and tidy house. I highly recommend Emily and hope she can house sit for me again soon.
