The stay at Deb’s and Mark‘s house was the most beautiful and peaceful Christmas i could wish for. Astrid is beautiful and full of love. And after a day of missing her „parents“ - we became best friends. The walks with her were easy and relaxing for both of us. I fell in love with her.💕 Sophie and Florence, the cats, are always somewhere waiting for cuddles or peacefully snoring 😴. I loved to stay in this beautiful, comfy French house with the big garden (unfortunately no pool time in winter ☺️) in the middle of nature. The communication with Deb and Mark was always easy and any question were answered immediately. I can only recommend this sit and look forward to meet them all again.🐾❤️🐾
This was one of my best THS experiences ... and a perfect example of how and why hosting and pet-sitting can be such a mutually beneficial arrangement. Rachel and Travis are the ideal hosts -- at the same time extremely thoughtful, conscientious, generous and laid-back. I couldn't have been more comfortable in their guest wing. Their environmentally-friendly home is beautiful and immaculate, with stunning views of this postcard-perfect region of Vermont, and Peek is one of the most endearing, lowest-maintenance cat I've ever cared for - as independent as she is affectionate. Highest of recommendations.
I connected with Katie right away during our “meet & greet” phone call. She has a great apartment in Santa Monica; an area I know well having lived there the last 5 years. She was easy to communicate with and checked in to make sure my first night went okay which I really appreciated. Squirrel is an easygoing cat to care for with a daily routine of breakfast and dinner, lots of sleeping, going out for her “cat walks” and hangout time with the human. I loved sitting with her next to the heater keeping warm and warms my heart she would give me rubs after I put down her food as a thank you before eating. Her signs of affection are subtle, her little swats are full of sass and I would be delighted to sit for her again!
Conrad and Lucy are such a pleasure to sit and I’m going to miss them dearly. Lucy is so loving and sweet and Conrad just wants to play…but is also very well behaved and courteous especially on walks. Except when there is a squirrel or rabbit nearby :) Liz and Sam are the most kind and respectful owners too, very responsive and left very clear instructions. Their house is beautiful and spacious and has a gorgeous backyard to chill in. Also being close to Seward Park and surrounds is a big bonus. All around such a nice experience. Would highly recommend sitting if you can!
Michael, Iku, and their golden doodle Raffi are all amazing! We would highly recommend sitting for them. Raffi is one of the best dogs we’ve ever sat for – he is calm, loving, quiet, and overall very easy to take care of. Michael and Iku have had petsitters for quite a while and have thought through all aspects of the petsitting experience from start to finish, so you’ll be in good hands! They are loving pet owners and above all phenomenal people. Their house is beautifully decorated with their paintings, sculptures, and mementos from their world travels, and they are keen to tell you all about these. As well, the neighborhood is safe, quiet, and well-connected to all the major sights and amenities of Somerville, Cambridge, and Boston.
