Brilliant!!!! I am soooooooooo incredibly grateful for meeting Kevin and Karen and the whole KIKA family, and for being welcomed into their home so very kindly and warmly! I left knowing in my heart that I had made new friends! I absolutely LOVED my time here with these darling beautiful meows Drizzle and Misty! These fluffy kitty cat goddesses are sweet and gentle and such a joy to be around! I miss them already-they have definitely secured their places in my heart! It took them a little time to warm up and get totally comfortable with me, but we were all very good friends in a short time. They are not snugglers, but will rub against your hand or rub up against your leg, which are always lovely little moments of affection…and they are very eager to be nearby and cozy up in their favorite spots while they lounge in the sun or watch the birds out the windows—and of course, pose for pictures… they are extremely photogenic “meowdels”! They enjoy playing…but seem to love to bring you toys more-they aren’t always in the mood to actually play with the toys, so it’s kind of an extra special treat if they bring you a toy as a gift… They love their treats, especially before bedtime, and are usually excited for meal times too, especially Drizzle. Karen and Kevin and the whole KIKA family are warm, welcoming, kindhearted, generous and lovely human beings! I’m so happy and thankful to have met and spent time with this whole wonderful family! Kevin and Karen are clear, kind communicators and were incredibly thoughtful in every way before and throughout my stay! They are supportive and encouraging and helped to make this sit one of my favorites! Their beautiful home is so peaceful, comfortable and cozy! The neighborhood is darling… and walkable, which is a huge plus. I would give 11+ stars…and I absolutely hope that I have the opportunity to be welcomed back again! I had a great month in Whistler at Lauren's home with Frida and Finn. Both animals are so sweet and I truly enjoyed their company! Frida in particular, is extremely loyal and loves to be by your side. The house is very comfortable and Lauren is a lovely person. I would highly recommend this sit!
Ann and Alexa are super friendly and pleasant, they gave us nice suggestions of places to visit near their home. Quinn and Lucca are so cute, we are still in love with them. The house is very comfortable, clean and organized, with all the necessary amenities for an excellent stay. Ann was always available and replied promptly our questions. We highly recommend them!
We fell in love with Artie she was so sweet and had perfect manners. Loved taking her to the lake each day which was at the doorstep of their gorgeous home. Amazing time.
Courtney and Josh are awesome, we really enjoyed talking with them before we came to Tracy and they were great with communication throughout the sit if we had any questions at all. They have the best kitties! There’s never a dull moment around this dynamic duo Luna and Evie! They are 6 months old and love to play but are pretty chill at the same time. They love when you take their box of toys out and play with them, Luna will even fetch her toys! It’s important to give them enough playtime during the day because they do require more attention than older cats. They are very easy to care for just give them some extra attention and love. Luna will let you pick her up instantly and wants as much love and cuddles as she can get. Evie didn’t seem to want as much cuddle time so we found that playing with her toys is the best way to bond with her. We would give them a couple calming kitty treats about an hour before we went to bed so they would be able to calm down for the night. We really enjoyed this awesome housesit which is conveniently located right in the heart of Tracy close to several restaurants, grocery stores and everything you could possibly need. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back and spend more time with Luna and Evie! If you get the chance to sit for Courtney and Josh you will be so happy that you did and will defiantly want to come back!
Taking care of Rosie, the adorable mini Italian Greyhound, was an absolute joy for my 2.5 week stay. Suzanne and Joe, her pet parents, were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond by even stocking up on beverages for me during my stay. Rosie is a delightful companion. She has a simple routine of being fed twice a day, with a short 15-20 minute walk in the evening. She loves spending time in the backyard and enjoys basking in the sunlight. It's endearing to see her tucked in under the covers, she really knows how to make herself comfortable. Rosie thrives on affection and loves playing with her toys, although getting her to give them up for a throw can sometimes be a little challenging. She likes to stay close to you around the house, making it easy to keep an eye on her. And it's always heartwarming to see her collecting her toys and taking them to bed for naps. Her expressive eyes are truly captivating. The house provided all the comforts I needed, including a cozy bed and a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. The laundry facilities and high-speed wifi were greatly appreciated., and the location, on a tranquil one-way street, offered a peaceful and serene environment. The backyard is a beautiful garden filled with plants and birds. Also, the neighbors were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall pleasant experience. As far as shopping is concerned everything you need is nearby the area has a great selection of supermarkets, including ShopRite, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe's, as well as a delightful array of Asian markets and Korean restaurants just a short drive away. And you will not be far from Philly - during my visit I explored the Franklin Institute and the Philadelphia Zoo. As well as, periodic expeditions to try to find my favorite Philadelphia cheesesteak.
