Great weekend sit in a beautiful spotless home in East LA! Nicole sent clear instruction and information prior to the sit and was great with comms during. Chewie was the sweetest soul and I loved hanging with him for the weekend, just the right amount of cuddly and fun! Great coffee shop down the street & also a Target within walking distance.
We loved looking after Lula and Bobbie. They're very easy to care for and warmed up to us fairly quickly. Within a day they snuggled up to us on the sofa. The house is nice with a particularly nice shower. During our sit we visited both Leeds and York which were quick to get to on the train.
A dream sit come true… The fur babies are sweet, easy going, playful and easy to love. Their care routine is simple which leaves opportunities to explore in between care responsibilities. Human family are absolutely wonderful! So thoughtful, they go above and beyond to make a sitter feel welcome. Communication is A+ and you immediately feel like you’re part of the family. We have definitely became lifelong friends! The house is spectacular! Well cared for and absolutely beautiful also located in a very convenient location! Perth is a great city! Beautiful beaches, easy to navigate, friendly people! Highly recommend sitting for Rhonda and family I can’t wait to come ack 💗
House- and dog-sitting for Terri and Dennis was a great experience! Terri invited me to arrive a day earlier, which was very accommodating for me, having just finished another sit in a nearby community. We had “met” via Zoom and texted prior to my arrival and she made me feel like we knew each other as soon as I pulled up in their driveway. Communication with Terri was excellent throughout the sit, she was always reachable, despite the 6-hour time difference. The Welcome Guide was very detailed and Terri and Dennis provided additional information about the home, the dogs’ routine and the expected pool or yard maintenance workers’ schedule. Terri and Dennis’ home is gorgeous! It has been tastefully renovated, with views of the beautiful pool and lake. Some sunrises were mesmerizing! The neighborhood is inviting, people are friendly and a tennis/pickleball court is nearby, if that is your thing. The very pretty historic part of Winter Garden is about 3 miles away and there is shopping of all kinds even closer. My husband joined me for the second half of the sit and we enjoyed watching the daily evening fireworks across the lake, in the distance (Disneyland’s). We absolutely loved Harley & Sasha! Harley is irresistible to pet. He is kind, takes his duty of retrieving the morning paper very seriously and could play fetch endlessly. Sasha could be independent at times but loved coming over when we were seated, indoor or outdoor, to get pet and scratched. She was constantly upside down to invite belly rubs! They entertained themselves in the fenced backyard, so they are very easy to care for. In addition to Harley and Sasha, Terri has a butterfly habitat, where one can admire the caterpillars eat, form cocoons and develop into beautiful Monarch butterflies. We found this fascinating! Once freed, they then hung out in Terri’s beautiful backyard butterfly garden. What more could you ask for?! Welcoming homeowners; gorgeous home & property; beautiful pool, lake & views; great loving dogs; peaceful yard & gardens; and daily fireworks to celebrate another day in this oasis! Need we say more?!
Nashi was such a joy to care for, he was so sweet and loved to cuddle. I can’t say enough how much I loved hanging out with him. Josh & Jill were wonderful, great communicators, very organized and had a really love home in a great location. Would definitely sit for them again :)
I had a great experience sitting for Wendy. Wendy’s home was clean and comfortable. Everything that I needed was easy to find. Wendy’s home is also less than 1/2 a mile from numerous bus stops that transport you all over DC. Pearl is an awesome companion! Pearl loved going on walks and to the dog park. Pearl would bring her toys to me when she wanted to play! Pearl also enjoyed some quiet time and would curl up beside me on the couch. I enjoyed my time in DC and caring for Pearl. I would absolutely sit for Wendy and Pearl again!
