Denise's home was the perfect place to stay while visiting family in a nearby area! The gated community was beautiful has many amenities within walking distance. Luna was hesitant to trust us at first, but after a few days she relaxed and allowed us to move around the condo at ease. She loves to rub all over your feet when you first arrive/wake up in the morning and we found it best to give her a few minutes of rolling around before stepping away to avoid her swatting at us. She also likes to hang out on the patio and in the 2nd bedroom a lot, so we let her keep that space to herself as she would become agitated if we entered. If you're a cat lover and can give Luna a few days to warm up to you, this is a great sit!
Pet sitting Margot, Teddy and the chooks was an absolute pleasure. Julie and Julian were very welcoming into their beautiful home. Nestled in a small village, there were plenty of wonderful walks nearby. The favorite was the many routes around the orchard. The other people walking there were very friendly and most, were up for a chat during the walk. Margot and Teddy are lovely dogs. Very obedient and great fun to be with. Poor Teddy, being such a small dog, did react to other dogs, more as a defensive mechanism. During the sit, he did improve a lot. They are both fun to be with and were great company. Their house was amazing, beautiful decor and all the mod cons. From day 1 I felt extremely relaxed and comfortable. The chooks are very low maintenance. Just needed to check their feed and water hoppers had enough food/water in them and collect any eggs. Everything else was automated. If you are lucky enough to be asked, I would recommend sitting Margot and Teddy. I have a 3 month sit in the summer 14 mins away, and will definitely come by to take them for walks.
Amazing cats! Friendly and fun to play and snuggle with. Excellent Cozy home with great books and beautiful garden. Kelsey was kind and easy to communicate with. We would gladly sit for them again! We highly recommend this house for future sits!
