Alison
I had such a great time housesitting for Alison and Lyn in Edinburgh. Alison was great from the first time we spoke; friendly, generous, and so easy to communicate with both before and during the sit. Zeno and Parmenides were absolute angels to look after, they’re very affectionate wee souls who very quickly stole my heart! Parmenides was initially a bit more timid, but he soon warmed up and was happily sitting on my lap in front of the TV. I already miss them! I would highly recommend this sit in a great location with the wonderful Zeno and Parmenides. Thanks so much for everything :)

Sarah
We have just spent a wonderful three weeks looking after Sarah's beautiful girls, Tilly and Teasel, in the very friendly village of Monxton.

We feel blessed that Sarah chose us to look after the two Ts, they are the sweetest dogs and will capture your heart. Tilly is such a character, she loves life ..... and walking and water and retrieving. Teasel is growing old gracefully and just wants to be around you, she is a sweetheart and likes to paddle in the water and go for shorter walks. The girls will always greet you enthusiastically when you have been away, even it has only been for a short period, and their whole bodies wiggle with excitement.

Monxton and the surrounding villages are not short of beautiful walks. Abbotts Ann is a lovely 30 minute walk away (and a few minutes in the car) and has a lovely community village shop which is well stocked. Monxton might not have a shop but it has a great pub, The Hawk, overlooking the village stream.

Everyone and their dog seem to know Teasel and Tilly, that is the lovely thing about dogsitting, the interesting people you meet and Sarah's neighbourhood is full of welcoming and friendly people.

Sarah was great with communication before and during our sit. The School House is very spacious and really well set up, the kitchen is a cook's dream, the shower is great and there is a lovely garden and outdoor area to enjoy the Summer sun.

We had the most wonderful dogsit in Monxton and would highly recommend you apply. Sarah is a very generous host and extremely welcoming. It was hard to say goodbye to Tilly and Teasel and the village of Monxton. We hope you get the opportunity to look after 'the girls'.

Trusted Housesitters is an exchange of home and dog sit for time. Walking , playing, feeding, bathing, medicating (if requested), becoming dogs best friend while his owners are away is a full time job, if done right. Then you add home security, mail , garbage, contractors, sewer alarms buzzing because of massive rain and low lying home, chauffeuring owners to and from train station, etc..... Ungrateful owners are sad people.
Rover house sit charges $120 a night in Portland, Maine, perhaps they include Spring cleaning with their dog sit service.

Arabella
I thoroughly enjoyed my sit for Arabella, who was friendly, generous, communicative, and very supportive.
Cybil was a lovely dog, a rescue greyhound, who responded positively to kind and attentive treatment, which resulted in us spending many an evening, relaxing together in front of a log fire with a movie.
Cirencester is a lovely town, and the house was both close to the centre of town, and the beautiful park where we walked.
I hope I have the opportunity to look after Cybil again, it was a lovely experience.

Ana
Ana was an amazing host and showed me how to best take care of Benny and the house before leaving. The house is newly renovated and bright, Benny was amazing to take care of and super affectionate- I’ve never felt lonely. The place is very well connected by bus and metros and fun to explore Lisboa. I would 100% recommend Ana and Benny for pet sitting. Going to miss walks with the pup!

Arianna
Nugget is the sweetest snuggle angel ever and I would highly recommend this sit if you have the chance! We miss him!! Arianna and Lisa were gracious hosts who made us feel right at home in their beautiful festive house. Communications were easy breezy. The location was excellent for neighborhood walks and access to the Metro. Thanks for everything and hopefully we can do this again sometime!
