Maria was very organised beforehand and easy company as she stayed over to have a good handover. Finn and Mac seemed to like her straight away and she had no problems (that she mentioned anyway) over the week. Being so well travelled, she seemed to cope with everything and the house was all good when I returned.
We took care of Poppy and Goldie for two nights. They were amazing. Poppy is such a sweet and lovely cat, I enjoyed sleeping with her and playing on the bed. Goldie is a beauty. At the beginning it was a bit complicated to make her walk, but with some love and patience it worked :) They are both quiet, calm and well behaved pets. The house is comfortable and luminous. It is in a great location. Adrienne explained all the details about Goldie’s training, and left everything to settle so we could manage easily. Thank you.
It just so happened that I was able to fit into my schedule a weekend pet sit, and it was my pleasure. The dogs were so sweet and well behaved, and everything about the schedule and household was well organized and communicated. I also appreciated being able to connect periodically. It was a very positive experience!

Meeting people like Kemal and Catharina is one of the very reasons I love doing housesits - they are warm, generous and genuine people, and I was grateful to be able to spend some time with each of them during the sit. They were very accommodating in making sure their departure & return times worked for me, and were easy-going yet responsive. I felt welcomed in their lovely home and very comfortable during my stay. Pixel herself is a hard one to leave - she has a strong sense of herself, and can be cheeky, but ultimately this just makes her more lovable. It was a short sit but I very quickly become attached to her, and would absolutely come back to look after her again!
Enjoyed a delightful two-week rural staycation with Roscoe, who is a ball of playful energy with a sweet heart, and Tina, who may be the easiest Llama in existence. Roscoe's expressive ears will leave you chuckling! Roscoe's still got his puppy spirit, so I appreciated how well Aileen and Mike communicated his commands before the sit so the appropriate redirects were clear. The home is homey and comfortable and Aileen was generous about use of their pantry items. Roscoe and I enjoyed daily sunset walks past cherry orchards and looking out at Mount Diablo (true purple mountain majesty). Communication was easy and pleasant with check ins every few days. Any concerns and questions were promptly addressed. Can't wait for next time.
