Sally and Craig are a lovely couple and welcomed us into their centuries-old farmhouse with a tasty meal cooked by Craig. Sally showed us around, explaining the disarray was due to a disrupted sale of the property which has been in the family many years. Rosie the lab loves her walks around the adjacent fields, mostly walking at a slow pace but then surprising us by breaking into the occasional canter when the mood took her. As an elderly lady, in between walks Rosie spent most of her time happily sleeping in either the kitchen or tv room (with the largest tv we've ever seen!🤣), whichever room we happened to be in at the time. Oliver the cat is incredibly cuddly and when not in his room enjoyed sitting on either of our laps in the evening for a smooth. Sally asked if we would take a short drive each evening to secure the natural burial ground which was very close by and no problem at all. We also visited the friendly local post office/convenience store a short drive away as well as nearby farm shop and drove into Thame for groceries on market day. This was a very peaceful sit for a very interesting couple.
Perfect everything!
Thank you guys for letting me sit for you. I enjoyed it very much. Puppy was so easy to handle and Gorgeous and Maisie were also very nice. A nice house and good location for dog walking. Thank you again.
Where do I begin? The sit at Michelle and Fred's home with Harley and Piper was so much fun while also being relaxing and so enjoyable!! Their home is so beautiful and they made it so comfortable for us. Instructions were clear and communication before and during our sit was open and all questions were answered quickly. Michelle and Fred were so generous and even allowed our adult children to stay for Thanksgiving! The girls are well behaved and so loving. We all fell in love with Harley and Piper and miss them already. We would highly recommend this sit, it was an awesome experience and we hope to return very soon.
Cally was excellent to work with. She made the transitions into and out of the sit seamless. The pets were great, Misha is instantly your new best friend. She is very communicative and will let you know exactly what she needs and, notably exactly where she wants to go on her walk. Beatrice is a little bit elusive however she warms up after a day or so. Both of them are super easy to care for. Cally‘s place is clean, comfortable, and secure, in a very nice area adjacent to the Harbor, dining, and shopping. I definitely would return given the opportunity, and I highly recommend this it to anyone visiting the San Diego area.
We had a great time in Musselburgh looking after Vita. She is such a sweetie who warmed to us after a day or two and then told us her life story, especially around feeding time in the evening! Communication with Nicola was great; she gave us clear instructions on how to get into her apartment and take care of Vita. She also gave us great tips for going locally, which was much appreciated! Musselburgh is a lovely town by the coast and only a short distance to Edinburgh, 8 mins by train! We made sure to explore the city and you won't be short of options for things to do there!
