NICHOLAS
This is a super housesit for many reasons. Nick & Emma welcomed us with a really tasty supper, showed us around and gave us really clear information on looking after their home and the chickens.
Their home is spacious yet cosy. A beautiful country kitchen with arga, warm and well equipped and a sitting room with a lovely log burner and a tv with all the channels you could possibly want. Perfect for a cosy winter evening.
Their garden is blessed with regular birds visiting the feeders, nuthatches, woodpeckers, finches and bluetits in abundance.
We would really love to return to this sit. Malton is a picturesque and interesting town with some nice shops and cafes and only a 20 minute walk away.
So pleased we got the chance to sit for Nick & Emma and they’ve hinted that there may be adopting a dachshund (or two) from Dachshund Rescue so we look forward to meeting them too one day soon.

Vivien
The days spent with Rita at Vivienne and Nick's have been truly enjoyable, perfect for a focused time for writing my thesis.
Rita is an adorable dog, extremely sweet and obedient. I could always take her with me on my explorations, walks, and running workouts, and she was a truly special companion.
Vivienne and Nick have always been very kind and hospitable!
Their home was a cozy nest, and the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, with lots of plants and flowers.
It's a neighborhood with many families, where you can feel a sense of community.
Victoria Park is spectacular; I spent a lot of time there studying, and it allowed me to relax my mind and body in contact with nature.
Highly recommended!

Clean, comfortable appartment with great view of the River. Hiking trail just out the door. Shopping close by. Sweet cat, Nero was our buddy in no time. Enjoyed meeting Kristy and Adam and hearing about their adventurous lifestyle. This was a great housesit. We would be pleased to housesit here again if ever in the area.

Victoria and James have a warm, welcoming, spacious home in a lovely position close to shops and eateries. We had everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable.

Dora was an ‘Adorable’ cat, so friendly and relaxed. She very much enjoyed being brushed regularly. Although we didn’t have a personal handover, the information provided in the ‘welcome guide’ was comprehensive and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay.

We had a short two-night stay on this occasion, but we were very quickly able to relax in their home. We would highly recommend this 5* sit!

Sarah
Sarah is truthfully such a kind human being, who responds to all your questions that might occur during your stay very quickly. She tries to make you feel welcome and comfortable in every possible way with nice little messages and easy understandable relatable instructions that are easy and quick to do so you still have a lot of free time. Homer and Ella are both very sweet and Homer is especially well behaved and listens to you when you call him during unleashed walks on his trail. They both also love to be pet! Sarah's bearded dragons were brumating during our stay, son not much of care required. Lizzie however woke up one day and wanted some lettuce ad attention and we noticed she is really gentle.
Sarah's house is additionally very beautiful and in a very good location (Buffalo and Niagara Falls not far away).
We really enjoyed our stay and I can definitely recommend a Housesit at Sarah's to anyone who might consider it, as she and her pets are truly kind souls.
