A perfect sit!

My sister Tara and I had the pleasure of looking after Joe's beautiful pups Frankie and Rocky. They were well behaved, house-trained and very affectionate once they had warmed up to us. They were the perfect couch pals as I worked online and studied. We will miss them a lot!

The apartment was beautifully clean and in a fantastic location in Dublin, with many sites easily accessible by foot, supermarkets nearby and the public transport system on the doorstep. Joe was a fantastic host too, and made communicating and organising things so easy!

Thanks heaps for a great stay, and we would jump at the chance to come back and spend time with Frankie and Rocky again!

I had a great 5 wk stay in Rotterdam with Musa, the magical 1-eyed black kitty, who has high standards as to what she expects from her 'human butler' services, incl. lots of play time :-). She will also always make sure that you take those necessary screen breaks, now that we're staring at computers too much because of COVID! On the other hand, she will happily let you sleep in if you desire, as she's not the kind of kitty that rings the early morning breakfast bell when her humans are still asleep.

Marta & Paulo's apartment in Rotterdam is just a 15 min. walking distance from the central station or the city centre, yet located in a quiet and pleasant residential neighbourhood and with views (even in winter) on lots of greenery from gardens at the back. Plus plenty of plants inside to keep those oxygen levels high! Although lockdown limited what I could do in the city, I always enjoyed myself staying at their place and time flew by. Communication with them was easy and straightforward, so grab this sit when it comes up! You might even be joined now by two 1-eyed magical black kitties....

Tamba was a genuine pleasure to sit for. His demeanor is exactly as described by Emily. He is a loving and intelligent dog who was easy to care for and a pleasure to be around. As long as he gets a good walk in the mornings and evenings, he is pretty well set for the day. When I was at home, he seemed to prefer napping in the sun in the back yard, a gentle bark to let you know his preference to go in or out was well received. Tamba also loved spending time sleeping on the couch and even engaging with TV watching when any animals appeared on screen. During the day, he pretty much keeps himself entertained with no need for supervision. However, he is so adorable and handsome that he invited lots of hugs and petting which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Tamba's house was also a pleasure to stay in. It was clean and tidy, with a well equipped kitchen, nice airy work space in the dinning room, as well as the outdoor deck, table, and chairs. The deck was perfect for morning meditations. I did crank up the grill one day. The basement guest room, with attached bath, was a super comfortable space. After the first couple of nights, Tamba would frequently join me sleeping on the foot of the bed, but I'm sure he would not have protested if one preferred not to have him in the room and simply shut the bedroom door. I would not hesitate to return for another sit with Tamba.

I really enjoyed meeting Marcia and staying in her lovely home caring for her pets. It was very enjoyable being able to walk Bessie and explore the surrounding area and village. It was a joy to have Charlie the cat curl up beside me in the evening. I would gladly care for her home and pets anytime.

Lisa
Incredible stay and hosts, even though it was a shorter sit. The cats were sweet and east to take care of and John and Lisa were amazing and responsive. They even upgraded the internet for me immediately so I could get faster upload speeds for my job. House was very clean and cozy and they supplied some awesome beer and coffee and even a gift card for a local coffee shop! Thank you for everything. Highly recommended (as long as I'm not available of course)!
